Northants massive?

On the back of the recent thread in AIBU, it's come about there are Quite A Few MNers living in and around Northants.

Perhaps it's about time we came out from underneath our stately piles and showed our faces, I'm gathering interest for a meet up - location to go with the majority of where we live, the same wrt the time of day and whether we involve DCs or not.

PM me (if you've not already done so) and let's see what we can do!

I live in Duston and would love to meet more MN mums! Am up for a meet if I can get to it I will!
I have a four year old and a two year old, I love reading, films, sci-fi(!) and cake! Would be great to meet more mums :)

The tea and cake at Fermyn Woods Country Park (Brigstock Country Park) are lovely and there is a nice play area for DCs. Could be nice for a daytime get together if the monsoon ever stops...

hi - i too am reliant on public transport and northampton is my nearest town and the only one i can access easily. reluctant to share on here where i'm from as i have attracted a fair bit of attention from weirdos who i wouldn't want finding me in real life.

if anyone who drives fancies a meet up on a weekend day with little ones at a softplay place (i'm quite near one) then shout because i'd always be up for that - am a single mum and the weekends can be a bit long sometimes - not to mention the holidays! don't mention the holidays i'm scared already

swallowedAfly I would definitely be up for a weekend meetup. DH works shifts so I am often on my own at the weekends. I'll PM you where I am.

Can do the weekend at a softplay too. DD would love that. I am a single parent as well swallowedAfly. Plus things are just less scary when I have my DD as a bodyguard, she's vicious.

Just to offer again, if it's on a day I can do and you are north of the county or just over its borders am happy to squeeze people into a people carrier if that would help anyone; am fully CRB checked and with the aid of my trusty sat-nav know my way round Northants like the back of my head hand!
