EALING REVIVING THE THREAD

MrsBigD · 08/12/2005 15:13

The Ealing meet-ups have died a fretful death as far as I can see. Shall we try and revive meet-ups for the New Year?

I'm sure everybody is way too busy until then

See you all around!

Hi MrsBigD! watch out for other west london ladies who want to meet up too. we'll get there!!! they are young babes though....in their twenties! will have to die my grey hair before we meet up! i think i spotted unicorn there too. have a great xmas and new year x

santaslittleunicorn · 15/12/2005 15:56

yep.. a lesser spotted unicorn here!

I will be attempting a 'dry' January as I have put on too much weight and generally look a sight - but am definately up for a meetup at some point.

Glad you have revived the thread Mrs BD (how's work?)

Nanou1 · 16/12/2005 09:16

unicorn... dont stress yourself about the weight too much cos it will come off. am guessing but i probably put on over 6 stones. if that is any small consolation i have 1 last more stone to lose and i should be about normal. anyway, we can always have a booze free evening!!! x

Slink · 16/12/2005 18:55

santaslittleunicorn · 25/12/2005 19:35

yoho ho ho, and a bottle of your finest!!!

Happy Christmas Yingers...

we need a wetting of babies head/chrismas/newyear meetup/

(I suggest Feb.. as I am aiming to be 'dry' in January!!)

Nice to see you again!!!!

Nanou1 · 28/12/2005 23:47

maman2006 · 03/01/2006 14:57

Hi there !
Happy new year.
I am a mum2be (Ante-natal clubs: Due Jan 06) from Chiswick and have just started my maternity leaves. I haven't found a thread for Chiswick mums here, but thought I could join thi sone as Ealing isn't that far.
Would be happy to join you if you organise a meet up in the next few weeks/months.

Nanou1 · 04/01/2006 12:39

happy new year. will be in touch shortly. madly busy today. maman2006, sent you a private mail!

unicorn · 04/01/2006 12:44

hello, well I'm around.

Can meetup either after ds's nursery before dd's school pickup (with ds) 12.00 - 2 ish.

or a nightime (not a Tuesday)
for a non alcoholic beverage without kids.

yingers74 · 04/01/2006 13:28

Happy new year ladies! Best times for a meet up for me at the mo is on a monday or friday if you are talking during the day as dd1 is in nursery so only have dd2 to cope with! Why didn't anyone tell me two are so much trouble???? Saying that i am thinking of having another, LOL, but me and dh have made a pact that we will only do this if we win the lottery as would want a cleaner, cook and an au pair to help out hence probably won't have another !

lindat1964 · 06/01/2006 23:52

Hi everyone,

I wouldn't mind joining in - as long as I don't feel too old! (grey hairs now dyed so it;a only the haggard face that gives it away!)

I've got a 6 yr and 2 yr old in Greenford.

f1nut · 08/01/2006 17:54

can i join in, im in yeading/hayes, next to greenford and bus ride from ealing.
have 3, aged 6, 3 and 16 months.

Nanou1 · 09/01/2006 09:14

hello there. i say the more the merrier! can i suggest either Thur 26 jan or Fri 27 in the evening. i may sound selfish but a night out baby-free is very appealing to me since it is the only way of being to start and finish a conversation! what do you think? no news from maman2006. could she have had her baby?! wishing you all a pleasant week.

yingers74 · 12/01/2006 13:33

that sounds good to me, just have to ensure dh will babysit, won't be able to get anywhere till after 7.30 though as early evenings are always very hectic and need to be around to sure at least dd2 is down for her sleep before leaving!!!

MrsBigD · 12/01/2006 13:52

EVERYBODY WELCOME BACK TO OUR EALING THREAD.
'Newbies' always welcome

CONGRATS YINGERS!!!

Lindat... don't worry... not just youngsters around... I haven't got grey hair yet (dh working on that atm though )

So who's up for 26 or 27 January?

OP posts:
lindat1964 · 12/01/2006 22:41

hi,

Can't make 26th or 27th - will be out on Friday with my old work crowd.

Have a fab time and keep me posted!

MrsBigD · 24/01/2006 10:38

So anybody up for a meet this or next week?
I'm busy Thursday but Friday would be o.k.

OP posts:
uwila · 24/01/2006 11:27

Can I crash this? I live in Sunbury, but work in Brentford. So a meet up after work in Ealing would be nice.

MrsBigD · 24/01/2006 11:35

crash away

Will be in Sunbury on 1 March for kids jabs in the evening LOL small world eh?

OP posts:
uwila · 24/01/2006 12:18

Oh the single jabs clinic. How is it? We used e-med for DD, but London isn't really all that convenient. So for DS (now 8 months) I was thinking we would go to that clinic. Do you like it?

(sorry about the radical subject change everyone)
