I realise everyone else must know this, but what's the deal with food? Is a few dainty canapes, kind of deal? Still making it wise to have a precautionary anti-drunkenness bowl of pasta before leaving home?

I can see I won't be the only person who will be like Mr Benn in and out of the wardrobe all day, leaving an enormous pile of discarded clothes in their wake by the time they leave the house this evening!

Right, I'm off to get my 8.30am blow dry. That's over and above the call of duty, that is.

Magna and I might arrive before then, we might just have to prop up the bar in the actual pub until a more decent time. We'll fight off any zombies that rock up in the meantime. Do we need a special signal so we can distinguish zombies from MN (or are zombies generally less Boden clad?)

What time will the rapture officially happen? Is it during MN meet-up hours? Because the godly amongst us (Nickel, Riven and so on) may be sucked up to heaven while we look on, and the worst of sinful heathens (you know who you are - don't make me name you) will possibly burst into flames and start writhing around in tortured anguish. I await my own fate with interest, though given the choice I'm hoping for the heaven option. Do you think it would work if I just said 'I'm with Nickel' ? I hope it will be more exciting than catching the 12.40am from Liverpool Street, either way.
