OK @AllTheBlackCoffee I've had a chance to have a look 'under the bonnet' now, and I think this is a matter of perspective!
We're currently in week 6, and so far you have lost a total of 9.2lbs!
You had two weeks, since we started, where you saw a slight gain; each week 0.2lbs. Hardly worth recording as a gain to be honest. In the other three weeks you lost 5.6lbs, 1.2lbs and 2.8lbs. I think that's pretty good going to be honest, and I'd say that this WOE really does suit you, and that there aren't any metabolic issues at play.
All that aside, my weight has gone down again over the last couple of days but I've still not dropped below 186 which is where I've been hovering since 26/01. I really wanted to hit 182 by 19/02 (half term for us and 13st) but it's looking more and more unlikely so any advice would be appreciated
It's very, very common for weight loss to slow down or even stop at some point. And I suspect this has happened to you.
Perhaps daily weighing doesn't suit you? It is quite natural for weight to fluctuate day-by-day.
In all honesty - my advice? Stop worrying so much! Your diet looks fine to me - although it's a bit difficult to tell on the basis of only 3 days' worth of food. You're eating plenty of veg, it would appear, and it sounds like you're drinking all the water.
However, I did also note this:
I do LOVE wine but try and stick to Fri/sat and mostly limit to half a bottle each night (tho I have done dry Jan so not had much this year).
Mostly?! Look - I love a bottle of wine as much as the next Bootcamper, but this will be adding a fair amount of carbs as well as calories to your days. Did you see my post earlier when I added the photo of my weight chart? Showing the impact of the end of Dry January?
Alcohol is the easiest form of fuel, so you have to understand that even if you're making the best possible choice, from a carb point of view, that whenever you're drinking, your body will be using this for fuel instead of fat.
So going forward, I think a target loss of 4lbs in less than 2 weeks is perhaps a little ambitious - and remember, it's just a number on the scales after all!
Step back. Look at what you've achieved so far! Run your eye down the 'Total Loss this Bootcamp' column and compare your loss with everyone else - you're way up towards the top of 'losers'! (I know it's not a competition, but perhaps this will help you to allow yourself to be pleased with and recognise what you've done so far)
