Two of my tamer ewes asking if it's time to come into the lambing fields off the common grazings yet. Not quite, ladies!

My current routine is nothing! Just shampoo and conditioner! Just gave up during lockdown. Will have a look at those recommendations thank you.

cheeseisthebest · 06/03/2021 18:50

Loving the pets!
This is me and my hair but also quite pleased to see how flat my stomach looks and my waist going in a bit!

Can see where the colour is growing out, not a good look!

Bestbees · 06/03/2021 18:51

Love a pet photo!

Hungry day here, all on plan but just lots and a bit snacky.

I have curly hair and I use suma conditioner, bought 5l at a time. I use it to cowash and also as a leave in. I then scrunch dry with a microfiber towel and add umberto Gianni curl jelly. Dries reasonable fast but I do arrive at work a bit damp!

Razzlefrazzle · 06/03/2021 18:59

Here is my rescue greyhound taking a rest after the brutal murder of several cuddly toys 🤣

Bestbees · 06/03/2021 19:02

A few of our mad cat attached.

@cheeseisthebest I precondition too sometimes. So dry hair plus plenty of suma conditioner. Shove in bun. Go for a run/leave for half hour. Then rinse out in shower. Add more conditioner and really scrub. Scrunch dry and add more conditioner and gel. Have attached pic of my hair. This is from the summer, it's a bit longer now.

Today’s new arrival, especially for Ninkanink ! (Sorry for the blurry photo, still in the incubator).

Interesting hair chat. I’ve been trying a shampoo bar, but it hasn’t been right for me. Belated research has told me that soap based shampoo bars are not suitable for hard water areas. So I’m back to my usual and back to the drawing board!

Ooh, hair stuff. I occasionally try to do a system like silicone free or C only or curly girl, but never keep it up. My hair isn't really curly, just wavy in an annoying asymmetrical messy way. DS1 has gorgeous ginger curls though and his hair has been really dry so I got him silicone free stuff which does seem to be helping a little with the dryness but also made it a bit frizzier/less defined. He tried my hair mask but it was a bit of a crap one I think so I'll get him a different one. I cut my hair recently which made it a lot nicer texture as I got rid of the dry /split parts.

Cats attached (and their new cat tree I bagged for £20 on Facebook the other week).

Breakfast - creamy coffee, bacon, cheese and lettuce LC roll.
Late lunch - crispy pork crack, overdone so a bit burned tasting (after DCs had McDonald's as a bribery to leave the house with me, I had a black coffee)
Dinner - chicken pizza. Chicken, chorizo, tomato puree, mozzarella. With lettuce. Was okay, couldn't finish it.

Probably some red wine, if I win my mini bottle in zoom bingo.

Hello everyone,

I’m completely new to the whole forum. I came across this thread whilst googling.

Not really sure how it works, but would like to get involved :)

In 28, and have been low carbing since Jan 1st.
I’ve been trying for as long as I can remember to lose weight. I just became very good at gaining it.

I’ve tried low carb before and always gave up.

However, this time something seems to have clicked and I’ve not had one slip up since jan 1st!
I’ve gone from 13st 12lbs down to 12st 3! I cannot comprehend how happy I am feeling about this. I’d love to lose another stone.

I don’t feel as though I’m missing sugar anymore. Not phased by missing out on biscuits ect.

Here’s hoping things continue to go well :)

RagzReturnsRebooted · 06/03/2021 19:12

@Justcallmecaptainobvious aww cute chick! We had resident chicks for a short time, they belonged to a neighbour. DCs were small and loved them.
I researched shampoo bars but came to the same conclusion re hard water. I do blame my hair on that!

BustleInYourHedgerow · 06/03/2021 19:37

Beautiful day here today. Went for a run and got some bits done in the garden.

B: Yoghurt with linseed and raspberries
L: Leftover fathead pizza, celery and peanut butter
D: aubergine lasagne, rocket salad with cucumber, coleslaw, purple sprouting broccoli.

C2 cups of tea with cream

cheeseisthebest · 06/03/2021 19:43

Bestbees your hair looks amazing!

cheeseisthebest · 06/03/2021 19:44

Which gel do you use and do you use shampoo?

cheeseisthebest · 06/03/2021 19:48

@nowlook

I'll send you some olaplex (no 3) if you want it cheese. It does nothing for me! What has helped is slathering on a cheap and cheerful hair mask a couple of times a week.

I think Shag will be more expert in these matters Grin

Thank you! Sorry missed that!
Jollyholibobs · 06/03/2021 20:17

Wasn’t best pleased with him sitting on my knitting!

Struggled to get on the site all day today!
Just checking in and will catch up properly tomorrow. Hope everyone is okay Flowers

Bestbees · 06/03/2021 20:21

@Jollyholibobs what a gorgeous cat!

Thanks @cheeseisthebest. I use either umberto Gianni curl jelly or eco gel (amazon). I think in the pic I had used some mens loreal wetlook! Basically cheap I usually good, and make sure no cones.
No shampoo for years. I swim both in the pool and sea with no problems, but I do use a lot of conditioner. I like the lighter ones, and use a pump in a 5 litre bottle, maybe 4 handfuls per wash and a lot of scrubbing. Wash twice a week. Use cantu curl refresher or mousse imbetween if it needs a refresh.

Oneborneverydecade · 06/03/2021 20:24

Hello @LibbyL92 and we'll done

Yes @Bestbees your hair is lovely! I've come to the conclusion after almost a year of some variation of curly girl, that I'll never be happy. We're blighted by hard water here too, which doesn't help.

Here's a carb face vs bootcamp face. I took the 2nd pic because my hair looked better than usual
