We're in to week 6 and there's still plenty of time for the scales to drop before the end of Bootcamp. Remind yourself of the ten rules and add your weigh-in to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness. How was last week for you?

Lovely supper tonight: a white fish fillet ( basa which is never come across) with a cheese, cream and mustard topping, grilled, served with green beans and cauliflower, both in butter (of course Wink)

I have bolognese on top of mushrooms fried in butter or a mix of diced courgette with a little red onion and bell pepper roasted in olive oil.

Morning all and welcome newbies .

As others have said, it is a great woe (way of eating), the things I would add are eggs are your friend, be very careful with dairy, butter is fine, but I limit my cream to 3 tea spoons a day. Be wary of processed meats like bacon. Also if you post your days food in the morning, we can try to point out if we think you may be going astray.

So mine for today in a bit more detail to give an idea

B 155 gms of Total Greek Yogurt 5%, 1 tsp double cream, 1 tsp Linwood flax seed mix, 2 frozen raspberries crumbled on top
L omelette 2 eggs, president butter, Tsp grated cheddar, 1 cherry tomatoes chopped, basil leaves, 1/2 avocado
D lamb steak, FLGV smothered in butter

2.5 litres of water ( I drink hot water, cold fizzy water and herbal teas)
2 coffees with 1 Tsp double cream in each

Notwatchingtvtoday · 22/02/2020 09:27

Oh and forgot to say have lost another 1 lb, so that’s 9.5lbs this boot camp so far

HerRoyalFattyness · 22/02/2020 09:47

Right. Looks like official start day will be Monday, got a lot on this weekend, but my shopping is in and I'm ready.
I'm going to concentrate on just drinking more water this weekend to prepare me for drinking 4 litres a day!

HerRoyalFattyness · 22/02/2020 09:48

Notwatchingtvtoday 9.5 lbs is amazing! Well done.

Almahart · 22/02/2020 10:16

I’m in the phase of boot camp where I’m
Not cheating but am eating too much delicious boot camp food!

Made the low carb onion bhajis last night and froze the remaining mixture for after work meals.

I also made the double cream and sugar free jelly concoction I have been meaning to make for years of BC. It was too sweet!! I ate it any way mind Hmm

I can feel an uber camp coming on!!

RobinHobb · 22/02/2020 14:30

Have been a carby twat
Meal was fine but had a glass of wine and three maybe four bites of DDs profiterole (it was sooooo amazing.....)
Dammit
Had gotten to my lowest weight in ages this morning so I relaxed. Still got 2.5kg to go

venusandmars · 22/02/2020 15:49

At an event, on my feet all day!

B - fried eggs on creamed spinach
L - a whole avocado, 6 almonds
D - salmon, cauli rice, mushrooms in butter, broccoli

PinkSubscriber · 22/02/2020 20:13

Almahart please can you tell me more about what the sugar free jelly and cream concoction is? I think that’s going to be my Sunday pudding. Thanks

Rayna37 · 22/02/2020 21:08

I did my 200th parkrun this morning Star and my first time under 27 mins this year thanks to a mainly tarmac course.

Full Yorkshire breakfast and fave my toast, beans and hash brown to DS who is loving seeing so much of his family and being the centre of attention.

we'll skip over the cream tea mid afternoon

Couldn't get a table at Pieminister so thankfully for this WoE we ended up at ByronBurger- swapped bun for salad, fries for courgette fries, and slaw on the side. Could have been a worse day could have been much better

Greek meal last night was outstanding. Lamb dish with salad in place of rice, had none of the bread but a but much wine.

Not enough water I expect, it's just occurred to me now I haven't logged any in my app which might have helped!

Almahart · 22/02/2020 22:17

@PinkSubscriber you make sugar free jelly as usual but instead of half boiling water and half cold, you do half boiling water and half double cream. It’s a bit like a mousse

venusandmars · 22/02/2020 23:12

Logging tomorrows food plan (It's another full day at an event).
B - left over cauli rice, left over buttered Leeks, with a few peas, topped with fried eggs.
L - an avocado, 6 almonds
D - chicken and spinach soup

prettybird · 22/02/2020 23:12

Was out for a meal in Largs this evening. Menu wasn't great for HFLC but I was able to have a Caesar salad minus the (apparently "home made" croutons Wink). And only 1.5 glasses of wine plus lots of glasses of water Halo

Rshard · 23/02/2020 09:02

That’s an awesome achievement rayna, we’ll done!

All week I’ve been gaining and losing the same pesky lb so was heading towards a gain or sts but I’m actually a pb down this morning so quite relieved!

HerRoyalFattyness · 23/02/2020 09:08

I managed 3 litres of water yesterday. Aiming for 4 today, and start LC properly tomorrow.
I honestly haven't peed this much since I was pregnant Grin

prettybird · 23/02/2020 09:29

It will settle down, I promise! Grin

I can also predict from personal experience Wink that those days that you notice that you've stalled or even gone up, even though you've been following the Rules, it will be because you've not drunk your water allocation Shock which effectively means you've broken one of the Rules Hmm I always aim at slightly more than the amount for my weight, as that helps ensure that I don't miss it Halo

StuntNun · 23/02/2020 11:46

I made the I Breathe I'm Hungry cream cheese pancakes for brunch today (ingredients 2oz cream cheese, 2 eggs, butter to cook them in, pinch of cinnamon) and I can heartily recommend them if you're looking for a recipe for Shrove Tuesday. I leave out the sweetener from the recipe and top each one with a knob of butter.

So after my whinging and falling off the wagon, I have broken my stall and lost 2lbs- meaning a total loss of 1stone!

BIWI · 23/02/2020 15:18

Brilliant! Flowers

Hairwizard · 23/02/2020 15:58

Hi ladies. Just found this thread. I interesting!Smile was looking for ideas for lc meals. Stupid question time. See when you peel courgette to make courgetti, do you peel off skin first then do it or do you keep the peel??

BIWI · 23/02/2020 15:59

I'd never bother peeling a courgette!

prettybird · 23/02/2020 16:16

The green bit gives it some structure and imho is the most tasty bit Grin

I do tend to discard the seedy bit on the inside though - so essentially keep slicing (I use a cheese slice) round and round to make "tagliatelle" until it gets too full of seeds, at which point I put the last bit in the compost bin.

Hairwizard · 23/02/2020 17:05

Thanks for replies Grin shall be trying that out during week.

HerRoyalFattyness · 23/02/2020 17:24

I have drank so much water I'm ready to burst.
I have a 700ml bottle and I've had 6 of them today already.
