Good morning Flowers

here's the Spreadsheet

So there are 4 weeks left. Still time to drop a good pound or two to get us ready for a svelte Christmas Smile

Not an easy time of the year, I know, because of all the various social events to navigate. But stay focused and concentrate on your ultimate goal for this Bootcamp every time you're about to pop something too carby in your mouth!

I hope you all have good results on the scales/with the tape measure, this morning - and here's to a good week ahead

And also welcome back @bingenomore - with a username like that, that also makes me worry! But I like the sound of your plan - especially not doing the starve/binge thing Smile

Checking in.

B - Just a black coffee. And a litre of water.
L- breaking my fast with an omelette made with eggs mixed with cream, leeks, streaky bacon and spinach and brie. Half an avocado and salt on side.
D - Will be 2 low carb sausages and roasted veg (sprouts, green beans and broccolli)

If I'm hungry at any point I'll have strawberries and cream or a creamy coffee.

I've noticed something and wondered if anyone has had a similar experience. My hair used to be a nightmare for falling out. I'm talking hair visibly on my pillow each morning, loads when I brush or even ran my fingers through. A LOT when I washed it.
Well it's stopped. I've been doing this 6 week's and I can only assume it's the healthy fats and water?
Honestly completely different after justb6 weeks! It's amazing and worth eating like this for that alone! I always assumed I just had awful hair!

Nonononon · 27/11/2019 17:09

Feeling very slender on my legs and bum today!

L: bag of mixed salad leaves, half an avocado, 4 chicken drumsticks. Mayo.
D: loads of cabbage with butter and roast cauliflower with 20% fat mince beef in a little gravy (I made mince and dumplings for dinner tonight so I just spooned some of the mince mixture out for me but I drained most of the (bisto) gravy, so I'm not too worried about the carb content. The mince was also cooked with a carrot, some shallots and garlic.

absopugginglutely · 27/11/2019 17:14

B: cream coffee
L: meatballs in tomato sauce with watercress
D: will be cod with cheese sauce and FLGV

I’m stressing out today about DD’s third birthday, she is desperate for a little party but she doesn’t know many children and most of the ones we have invited are away because it’s on 30th Dec and everyone is away Sad
Anxious feeling can do one!

KondoKonvert · 27/11/2019 17:49

Checking in!

Not a perfect day but hey ho!

B: IKEA breakfast of sausage, bacon, egg and mushroom (gave the hash brown to DD

L: creamy coffee

D: homemade lamb kofta with lettuce, cucumber, avocado, feta and peri peri mayo

moleeye · 27/11/2019 18:01

So after wanting to cave in yesterday I held firm and stuck to it.

Met some friends for lunch today, checked the menu before I went and planned my food! I did not deviate when we got there either and I didn't have any of my favourite wine either.

Feeling very virtuous!!

L - steak, buttery broccoli, salad and hallumi

D- not sure yet. Can't decide if I'm hungry or not. May just have a creamy coffee

3L water

Kleptronic · 27/11/2019 18:18

I keep losing and gaining the same 2lb. Probably wine has something to do with that.

MrsGarethSouthgate · 27/11/2019 18:20

Just made these beauties - my two top tips would be squeeze, squeeze and squeeze again, then add a shit ton more cheese than it says Grin. Thinking of topping with a poached egg for tomorrow's dinner 🍳

Oooooooh @MrsGarethSouthgate I usually make a slimming world variation of these. Looking forward to making a full fat version!!

Yours look delish!

ShagMeRiggins · 27/11/2019 18:39

Iris lovely NSV about your hair. No idea if it’s Bootcamp related but really nice for you!

The fritters look lovely MrsGareth

Welcome back to Bootcamp people who I can’t be arsed to scroll up on my phone and namecheck. Grin Lovely to have more company.

I am being a twat with water—failing regularly to manage it sand my stomach shows the fallout from that. All else is fine food wise but the sheer embarrassment of not taking my own advice! I’m the WATER! WATER! WATER! girl, ffs.

keep losing and gaining the same 2lb. Probably wine has something to do with that..

Hmm Kleptronic, probably it has. You’ll get there, I’m sure.

oggs · 27/11/2019 20:09

Checking in.

B - coffee with cream
L - scrambled eggs (cooked in butter)
T - chicken breast fried in butter with chillies, avocado mashed with lime juice, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce (double cream, mustard and strong cheddar)

I've managed to drink 2lt + of water and at least another 2lt of tea/coffee/herbal tea.

Not much in as I need to go shopping.

oggs · 27/11/2019 20:10

Obviously need to work on my formatting skills 😁

IWillWearTheGreenWillow · 28/11/2019 07:18

Difficult week at home this week - DH away, DSs and I are all ill, schooling of all kinds is stressful and shite - but I'm just popping in to report I'm KOKOing, still drinking my water and this morning I'm 12st 13.2!

This feels like a huge victory as I was starting to think I'd never see a 12 on the scales again! Food for the next couple of days is difficult as we are eating up the fridge / cupboards until I can do a big shop on Saturday morning, but this WOE is pretty much second nature now!

I am stretching the rules a little bit on Sunday. We have a family tradition of Advent Breakfast altogether, usually with pastries. I shall skip the pastries and try keto cinnamon rolls instead. If they work, I shall add them to my plan for Christmas morning.

ShagMeRiggins · 28/11/2019 09:04

Hang in there GreenWillow Grin

Today for some reason I woke up feeling great. The week’s been so grey that I’ve had a few very down episodes “what’s the point of anything” type stuff, but surprise surprise, a bit of Apprentice with my boy and a full night of sleep makes a massive difference.

Off to shower and make myself beautiful then work, nail appointment, more work, and house painting with my children. Taking advantage of the energy while it’s there!

Oh, will also eat lovely food and drink a fuckton of water today. Have a good one, y’all!

Dia12 · 28/11/2019 10:04

Morning all

I've been wanting to get around to posting up my food as I can't see much movement on the scales - otherwise I'm feeling great btw and feel so much better in clothes just would be nice to break the 70kg stall point.

Mon
Lunch - Thai green chicken curry
Tea with tsp double cream
Dinner - lamb mince with Greek yoghurt and salad.
Strawberries and raspberries with tbsp double cream

Tue
Breakfast - low carb bread (8g) with butter
Lunch - Thai green chicken curry
Dinner - lamb kebab with salad
Snacks - handful nuts and strawberries with cream

Wed
Breakfast - low carb bread with butter
Dinner - beef and pepper stir fry, salad and guacamole
Snacks - nuts

My calories are generally around 1100 kcals so I know I'm not over eating. I haven't been able to do much exercising thanks to severely spraining my ankle Confused
I figure my food choices are good (?) wonder what I'm doing wrong.

DownUdderer · 28/11/2019 10:57

I want to have some eggs tomorrow, it’s been a while since I had some and now I’m really fancying some!

I’ve had my parents visiting for the last few weeks so it’s been a bit harder to have exactly what I’d normally have, just a bit of give and take with meals and food shopping, and also I’ve been out of the house so much more than normal.

Ketomeato · 28/11/2019 11:05

Fell off the wagon yesterday. PMT and a very difficult meeting got the better of me.

Back on track today.

venusandmars · 28/11/2019 12:06

B - butter coffee, left over fried chicken, small omelette (I egg)
L - avocado, salad
D - surprise 8 course tasting menu Grin I'm banking on it being the kind of food where the sauces are rich and thickened with butter, not flour, plus tiny elegant portions with barely a teaspoon of potato / pasta / rice / grains. I'll swerve the bread and by the time it come to the deserts I'll probably just decline.

Dia12 when I am in a looong stall I cut out dairy (so not so much cream) up the fat (butter, coconut cream, olive oil e.g. spinach cooked in coconut oil to accompany the thai curry, or oilive oil and mayonnaise on the salad), plus oily fish such as sardines / mackeral and make sure I'm having loads of water. How many carbs are in your low carb bread? could you have smoked salmon and scrambled egg instead, or bacon and fried mushrooms? How many nuts in a handful? And what kind of nuts? They can be calorie dense. I have 5 or 6 macadamia nuts, or swap to a snack such as celery with pate or cucumber slices spread with pate. What is the portion size of your fruit? You don't need to cut out raspberries and cream for ever but just for a week to get you moving again. Can you do other things to keep moving, without straining your ankle? Swimming? Pilates-type stretches?

LittleSwede · 28/11/2019 13:55

Still KOKOing here, have completed 5 weeks of low carb today.

Struggling a bit with the water today as suffering with ridiculously sensitive tooth due to 'massive mouth ulcer' (in the dentist's own words) next to a tooth which had a 'deep filling' two weeks ago. So the massive ulcer hurts, the affected tooth 'nerve' makes half of face hurt and drinking cold water makes it all hurt even more!

Nonononon · 28/11/2019 14:31

My day is looking like this.

B: (had to have something this morning before my long drive to work) half an avocado and cream coffee.
L: x3 egg omelette with ham and cheese
D: Pork Bolognese with kale

Nonononon · 28/11/2019 14:54

So let me get this right..
After this week we'll be on week 8, then we'll have week 9. At the end of week 9, when we get to week 10, do we complete week 10 or stop once we get to week 10?🤔

Basically, how many weeks left? 2 and a bit or 3 and a bit??

Ketomeato · 28/11/2019 14:55

3 and a bit I think?

LittleSwede · 28/11/2019 15:00

Does it finish on Sunday the 22nd perhaps? Makes it 3 weeks and a bit.

BIWI · 28/11/2019 15:45

Yes. We have a full week for week 8, and 9, and 10. The final weigh in will be at the end of week 10 (i.e. the Monday that would have been the start of an 11th week)

But I always keep the chat thread going, so we don't just suddenly disappear!
