Morning all!

I would normally drop a link to the spreadsheet here, but for some reason I've had to request access to it Confused

So until someone else - or @AthelstaneTheUnready - can sort this, I'm afraid I'll just have to start the thread without the link.

Some great losses and in awe of anybody who can do a 10k (not sure I could even walk that far Blush)

Sneaky weigh-in this morning shows I’ve lost a stone now since starting BC! So pleased and definitely in this for the long haul. Is it daft that i’m already looking forward to October’s BC when we’re only just past halfway on this one?! Grin

SayrraT · 21/06/2018 07:47

Decided that since I popped back earlier I might start joining in a bit.

Loved the look of the granola recipe BIWI posted earlier so planning on giving that a go.

Not really sure where I am on weight loss because I am a terrible BCer and stop eating LC all the time (even though I love it Confused). I seriously wish I had the willpower of some of the other posters Grin

Last BC I was preparing to be a bridesmaid, you may remember my dress arriving and being too small Shock despite measurements being smaller than when dress originally measured for. Anyway, wedding was fab and weather fantastic. I'll see if I can find a picture.

NorthernKnickers · 21/06/2018 07:50

@Lonesurvivor Wow!!! You have done so well💐.

Everyone else posting photos...I am in awe of your journey and your courage to share. Thank you...it's this group support that keeps me going 💕💐💕

SayrraT · 21/06/2018 08:04

I love seeing before and after pictures, hopefully I'll have some soon!

Here are the wedding pictures, we arrived by boat and I got my heel stuck in the jetty! I thought I might fall inGrin

I'm absolutely delighted to say that despite some much required 'medicinal carbs' for my stomach upset I have lost another pound this morning making just over a stone lost since I started ! This is so great , as it now puts me at 11st 3.5 which was my (hardly hoped-for) target to start my holiday.. Smile

Also, even though I am still feeling a bit nauseous from the stomach bug , I have got back on track with 2 boiled eggs for breakfast .. ( just plain though, as I still cant face any fat right now.. )...

Laska5772 · 21/06/2018 08:10

Also I am back in one of my favourite summer dresses !! Its going with me..

Gammeldragz · 21/06/2018 08:18

Sayyra gorgeous photos.
Laska well done and glad you're feeling better.

prettybird · 21/06/2018 08:31

You look beautiful SayrraT (but then I would have expected that Wink). Dress looks great on you (or more accurately, you look great in the dress) and your arms look lovely and toned.

Was that Loch Lomond?

Athelstane - have to admit that I gamble with my brassicas and rely on checking the leaves for eggs/caterpillars and squishing any I find. I've also planted some nasturtiums around the bed to be a sacrificial plant (apparently the cabbage whites will go for them), but they've not come up yet. But my downstairs neighbour (who has the other half of the garden which you can't see) has noticed the cabbage whites going for her nasturtiums.

And given we have three cats (2 young active ones who've already brought in a few pigeons Shock), it would be a brave pigeon who landed on the bed to attack the brassicas Wink (The raspberries, blackcurrants and redcurrants might not be so safe Hmm)

TerfsUp · 21/06/2018 08:33

Gorgeous photos, Sayyra.

Great news, Laska.

SayrraT · 21/06/2018 08:59

Thanks Smile yes pretty wedding was at The Cruin, it was lovely.

Rshard · 21/06/2018 09:03

Beautiful photos sayyra

That’s brilliant laska, enjoy your holiday.

TimeIhadaNameChange · 21/06/2018 09:12

I love everyone's photos. Such amazing changes!

What a wonderful garden, prettybird. Ours is similar but far less polished. I say "ours" - it's most definitely DP's and the cat's. I don't enjoy gardening so tend to keep away. And the talk of brassicas reminded me that I'm not going to run out of food for the wee ones before Sunday, as there are loads in the garden and I've been instructed I should pull off the lower leaves for them, so they'll be happy. And before you query it, most of the produce is planted with the wee ones in mind. We (the humans) occassionally get something, but who could argue with a guinea pig over who's going to get the spinach?????

3stonedown · 21/06/2018 09:23

Wow just caught up and everyone's before and after are amazing.

Here's mine. The first pic is this time last year. Second is the day I started boot camp and end is a couple of weeks ago on holiday.

pretty I'm in awe of your garden

Itchyknees · 21/06/2018 09:53

3stonedown those photos are astonishing!

prettybird · 21/06/2018 10:01

Wow 3stonedown - you look fab! I am dead Envy of your flat stomach! - in the nicest way, as something to aspire to Grin

TerfsUp · 21/06/2018 10:04

Amazing change, 3stone. I envy your flat tum.

Rshard · 21/06/2018 10:05

You look gorgeous 3stonedown!

SayrraT · 21/06/2018 10:21

That's amazing 3stone

3stonedown · 21/06/2018 10:29

Thanks all, It's feels a bit odd people saying flat tum, as I never thought I would have that again, particularly as I'm still 8lb overweight and 2stone off target. I think low carb makes a big difference on that.

TimeIhadaNameChange · 21/06/2018 10:30

Wow, 3stone.

I have to ask, how have you got your stomach so flat. It's what I'm aiming for (have never had one ever ever ever) and I'm slowly getting there, but if you have any tips please let me know!

3stonedown · 21/06/2018 10:48

TimeIhadaNameChange It's not flat all the time but it's massively different since doing bootcamp.

I also do some abs exercise (I'm not sure if it's not much or a lot compared to some to be honest):
3-4 runs a week
Ab challenge 2-3 x a week (90 sec plank, 110 flutter kicks, 125 sit ups)
And a quick 10 min abs yoga workout (on amazon prime) 1-2 times a week.

3stonedown · 21/06/2018 10:49

Pressed too soon

I think the yoga makes the most difference to be honest. I am properly burning after that

DramaAlpaca · 21/06/2018 11:11

Wow! Thanks to all of you who have been brave enough to post pictures, so inspirational & motivating.

I've had a bit of a mini whoosh, down just over 2lb since Monday and I can do my belt up another notch - yay!

Seafour · 21/06/2018 11:44

Hi everyone, just checking in to say I'm still here, I haven't rtft yet.

I'm having a really tough time with ds1 he's in his late 30's his life is a mess and yet again he's moved home and expects me to sort his problems out.

I want to cut him loose but DH wants to give him another chance ffs

It hasn't derailed my eating but my stress levels are through the roof.

ShagMeRiggins · 21/06/2018 12:05

Busy day today but must chime in to thank everyone for photos—they are exceptionally motivating and as I said yesterday, so much better than seeing Before/After ads because I know y’all didn’t get those results from some weird surgery or starvation diet or photoshopping, so for all of us it proves that this way of eating works and it’s possible for anyone to make dramatic changes to health and appearance while eating healthy, gorgeous food.

Wow, that was a long sentence.
