Morning all

Here's the spreadsheet - sorry to keep you all waiting!

So we have four full weeks before our final weigh-in - still time to lose half a stone if you stick at it.

Here's to a good week ahead Flowers

Blimey C4 how awful Flowers

Like YoLo I have 5 stone to go so in it for the long haul! Looking forward to the between BC threads so I stay on track

Kleptronic · 09/07/2017 13:42

There'll be an interim Bootcamp thread and I'll be on it. Need to get another stone off, hopefully by Christmas.

C4 that's horrible behaviour, no wonder you're upset.

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 09/07/2017 14:15

c4 that sounds awful. I hope things settle down for you.
Had a manic couple of days and haven't eaten well as a result. Yesterday I didn't eat anything all day until dinner at 5 as was rushing around to different appointments with no yime to eat. Today dd has had a bunch of friends over for lunch, they had sandwiches and cake which I'm really trying to avoid, it's calling me! I've got a bit of a hangover as drank a bottle of red Yesterday, then went for the dark chocolate...got an awful af at the moment, really painful and making me light headed too, so I've not been eating normally.
Going to try to get something to eat for a v late lunch as I want to go out for a run later, but just don't fancy anything but carbs. Plus clingy ds will not let me put him down, current stuck on he sofa watching chuggington..
Today I've had
B bacon and
L. Nothing
D barbeque and salad.
I need the routine of work I think, problem is this coming week will be crazy busy and I might not even get time to eat, especially not salad, might even have to eat in the car. I really want to keep going until the end of this bc and then until my 40th, in August. After that I'll see where I am? But definitely don't want to start with the carbs again, my stomach is so much better already after 2 weeks.

PlymouthMaid1 · 09/07/2017 14:59

C4 they sound quite nasty. Will they by leaving home in the nearish future?

I will stay on the interim thread as I have three stone to lose ultimately and also cant imagine going back to eating bread, pasta, rice, spuds etc but one day may have a banana again as missing them a lot.

YoLoZammo · 09/07/2017 15:03

Sorry to hear about your family troubles C4. Must be so difficult. How old are your step DC?

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 09/07/2017 16:33

Ouch C4 that's another thing on your plate that you could really do without. How old are the step kids? Can they not move out / go back to their mum or another relative etc?

I'll be back after bootcamp, possibly doing bc lite. We go on holiday the week before bootcamp officially ends. I'm determined to carry on on holiday though. It's all inclusive, so usually easy to stay on track with the buffets. I will be drinking though, so will probably come back a few pounds heavier.

I was good at the baby shower, didn't need my nuts etc, they had chicken legs & cocktail sausages, so had some of those & the eggs out of the scotch eggs with some probably non-BC guacamole. And drank sparkling water. I didn't get a starbucks either, but have just got back & tried to re-create it at home with coffee machine americano, lucy bee raw cacao, coconut cream & the new tesco sugarly sweetener that is made from erithrytol (or however you spell it.) Very nice it was too.

DC & DH not back yet from my mum's so what shall I do? Don't fancy tidying up, might go & read my book or have a bath. I wanted to run or do the Jillian Michaels kickboxing video, but it's too hot. The air con in my car is broken as well, just blows out hot air, so I've been cooking in the car!

styledilemma · 09/07/2017 16:44

B - 2 boiled eggs with butter.
S - Bulletproof coffee with butter and coconut oil.
L - Cheese omelette (plus butter)
D - What's that going to be? Hmm let me see.

You guessed it - EGGS. Grin

Ah well, I'm on the home stretch now, the 3 day egg fast is almost at and end and the finish line is in site!

Then it's a gradual transition back to normal eating.
Tomorrow I'll have 2 egg meals, 1 normal meal.
Day after, 1 egg meal, 2 normal meals.
Then it's back to Bootcamp Light.

styledilemma · 09/07/2017 16:47

After 3 days of Egg Hell (to get back on track), I won't be slipping up again any time soon Hmm
That'll teach me

AdalindSchade · 09/07/2017 16:52

Was it awful style?

littlebillie · 09/07/2017 17:33

Tried this today so good

styledilemma · 09/07/2017 17:51

Adalind
It hasn't been great, but It hasn't been too bad either, if I'm honest.

In fact, it's gone surprisingly quickly.
Luckily I like eggs, which helps and putting melted butter with them elevates the taste a lot.

The worst thing has been the horrible furry taste in my mouth (similar to the early days of bootcamp)
I've also hated not being able to have coffee with cream.
I've been making bullet proof coffee, but imo it's not a patch on proper cream in coffee.

I will weigh tomorow morning. Hopefully I will have dropped a couple of pounds.
If not, if nothing else, this high fat and eggs will have put me back in Keto.

AdalindSchade · 09/07/2017 17:52

I'm feeling quite crappy today. The nice guy (well I thought he was) I met seems to have flaked on me. No big deal I guess but it happens every time I meet someone I like. The ones I don't like are all over me like a rash...
Plus I still have my period and I think that's affecting me physically and emotionally.
The scales are still being fuckers and I had to spend all day outdoors at a football tournament and despite sun block I am burnt.
And now I'm eating ice cream Blush

styledilemma · 09/07/2017 18:01

Adalind You've eating the icecream now. It's done.
Draw a line under it and try not to beat yourself up about it.
Tomorrows another day and Koko!

This is the stage where our minds try to sabotage us into throwing in the towel.
That little voice that says
''Now you've eaten that! You might as well pig out for the rest of the day/week/month''
Don't let it win! Savour the icecream and don't feel guilty, but then it's important you reign it in and continue with this woe.

styledilemma · 09/07/2017 18:03

eaten, not eating

AdalindSchade · 09/07/2017 18:09

Thank you.
What is actually happening is that I really want to cry (there is exh and ds stuff going on too) and my usual approach when I want to avoid crying is to stuff myself on crap.
I'm drawing a line but I really hope I get my mojo back this week.

SashaSashays · 09/07/2017 18:19

Haven't caught up with everything yet, but BIWI mentioned the Oppo Ice Cream. I know I've said a few times that I've had it too, I just wanted to say I've, being so dedicated, have tried all 4 flavours.

Mint is my favourite but the most carbs. I think chocolate is the lowest and its really lovely too. In fact, all are nice, but the vanilla was probably the oddest as it had a weird texture. I get it from Ocado or Waitrose but its apparently in the Co-op and Holland and Barrett.

styledilemma · 09/07/2017 18:22

Is there any way you can distract yourself? Keep yourself busy?
It sounds like you're having a tough day and the sooner it's over with the better.
Keeping busy might make it go quicker and might take your mind off food.
Soak in bath, long walk? put on an excercise DVD? Watch a film, Boxset?
Have a clothes sort out? remind yourself of all those things that you will be able to get into soon?
I find distraction works really well when I get like that.

styledilemma · 09/07/2017 18:23

sasha I'm going to try some of that Oppo Ice Cream.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 09/07/2017 18:27

The Perfect World ice cream from Tesco is nice too.

ClearEyesFullHearts · 09/07/2017 18:34

hippa the only thing I can think is non-BC about guacamole is the delivery method (tortilla chips). If you had some with celery or lettuce, etc, it's fine.

Well done at the baby shower.

AdalindSchade · 09/07/2017 18:46

Thanks style
I'm going out actually - to a comedy club with old friends so that is good. I'm driving too so no temptation to drink but the groupon deal comes with food which has been pre ordered, the veggie option is veggie burger and chips. I am not planning to eat mine but I don't actually know.
My motivation has dropped because my weight loss seems to have stalled and I'm losing faith. I don't want to go back to my old way of eating though. I'm not letting that happen and I'm not throwing in the towel I just need to feel better emotionally before I can find my resolve again

Naschkatze · 09/07/2017 18:59

C4 that sounds horrible, I can't believe anyone could be so unkind. Flowers

Adalind Have a lovely time at the comedy club.

Busy weekend, lots of socialising and there have been a few food... slip ups? I think I'm going to call them experiments because I do want to know what I can go back to eating occasionally. I'm not far from my ideal weight and want to find a way to make this sustainable for me (it doesn't feel it at the moment.) Yesterday I had a small amount of homemade frozen yoghurt when we were visiting family. It had condensed milk in it but wasn't overly sweet so hopefully not too bad.
I did okay out at lunch today (swapped chips for veg and salad, left the bun of my chicken burger) but did try one of DH's amazing triple cooked chips and had a Diet Coke as a treat.

We're going to try the fathead pizza for dinner later and I'm hoping there will be leftovers (and that it lives up to it's reputation!)

WaaWaaWaaa · 09/07/2017 19:05

Omg! Fathead pizza is lush and soooooooooo easy! And so are the halloumi fries! Dh hoovered it up and I've got leftovers for lunch tomorrow! Yummers! Completely a gamechanger 😂

ClearEyesFullHearts · 09/07/2017 19:07

Adalind I was stalled for quite some time but kept going--and don't want to ruin tomorrow weigh in but have a big number to post.

If you don't enjoy the food you're eating, then find another way, but there is no weight loss plan in the world that will allow you to eat anything you want at any time and as much of it as you like.

Because that's not how to lose weight, that's how to gain weight. And we all know how to do that!

I've been up and down this Bootcamp but (sneaky peak at scales) feel a decent whoosh coming on tomorrow. And it's a real whoosh, not justbwater weight (been doing this a while) and not a big poo, etc.

Our bodies need time to adjust. In fact, I'm surprised we don't talk more on this board about the plateau of weight loss. It's a real thing. We are te-training our bodies after years of certain habits.

It is like anything--toilet training, riding a bike, playing piano...it takes practice and commitment, then we succeed with it.

A big Flowers to you.
