I know! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Wink

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation!

Remember, week 4 is, like week 3, a time when weight loss tends to be pretty slow, if not non-existent. KOKO and persevere, and things will get going again soon.

But not if you cheat! Whilst many of you have been very honest about your transgressions, just remember that this WOE is not a very forgiving one. It's not like a calorie-controlled diet, where you can compensate for one 'bad' day with a 'good' one. As some of you have already found out the hard way!

He sounds a total asshat, dust. Fatism is just everywhere, it's horrible. GP referred me to a dermatologist at the mole clinic recently because I was worried about a small lesion/spot/whatever on my face that wouldn't heal. I was copied in on the dermatologist's reply to the GP 'thank you for referring this overweight lady, blah blah'. For a spot on my face! What was that about? And did he think my GP didn't know already? It had no relevance to anything.

dustmotesinthesun · 17/06/2017 14:20

That's horrendous cherries! I'd have been hopping mad

ragz134 · 17/06/2017 14:28

Cherries that's appalling! All our specialists seem to use the generic "thank you for referring this very pleasant lady/gentlemen..." To mention your weight is well off!

Mandelinka · 17/06/2017 14:38

c4 well done on all the baking and not giving in to temptation
jiminny congratulations on getting on the program. Excercise + great diet will work wonders. Very jealous your employer offers all these activities
stunt thank you re the water retention after excercise, very timely advice Did some 'shredding' yesterday and am rather sore. However, scales moved downwards after 16 days of no movement. Yay!
oldbooks your cat looks just like ours

Mandelinka · 17/06/2017 14:55

dustmotes Flowers what a tool. Doesn't deserve your time. Chin up.

Mandelinka · 17/06/2017 15:00

thank you for referring this overweight lady, blah blah'

Wtf

Mandelinka · 17/06/2017 15:07

I'm catching up on this thread, most seem to be in good spirits on this wonderful day!

My food was pretty good yesterday:
B: mushrooms, egg, 2slices of salami fried in coconut oil. Dollop of cream cheese and dollop of beetroot with horseradish( discovered in a Polish shop down the road)
L: was late and sort of picknicky, celery sticks and almonds. 3 raspberries Wasn't hungry.
D: pate on my coconut slice. Coleslaw, green salad

Friend invited me out. She complimented on my weight loss ( haven't seen me for 3 weeks). It was such a mild evening, we ended up wondering around our local area, there are so many new places to dine, I was impressed. Quite few Japanese which is one of my favourites

I only had 2 drinks - glass of dry white and small glass of gin and soda. Friend wanted to keep going but I wanted to get home.

Naschkatze · 17/06/2017 15:08

Captain Haha, I can imagine! Thank you. I hope you are having a lovely day.

Stunt 4 boys! You must have your hands full. I'm a bit jealous Grin I'm yet to convince DH that we are going to try to have 3 children at least. Grin

FlowersDust He definitely wasn't good enough for someone as lovely as you!

Hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather.

StuntNun · 17/06/2017 15:39

Nasch it's complete chaos with four boys! We were done at three but then DH's boss sent him away on business for three weeks and when he got back something got forgotten in the rush! Blush We're so blessed to have a big family even if it is a madhouse at times.

CodLiverOil556 · 17/06/2017 15:47

Aaaaagh struggling today...haven't cheated at all whilst doing BC but today I feel like eating the world Shock

Not going to cheat as the minute of pleasure is not worth trashing my hard work but hell I've needed every ounce of self control.

Have placated myself with 30g of salted peanuts and that seems to have done the trick. Only had half my water too and normally I've done the 3l by now

randomuntrainedcuntowner · 17/06/2017 16:26

Ok so I have just got on the scales after starting on Monday. Lost 7lbs! I know this will slow down, but it is so heartening to see the scales actually move for a change, I have lost and gained the same few pounds for months o slimming world, and ended up heavier than when I started after months of hunger and bland food.

randomuntrainedcuntowner · 17/06/2017 16:26

And I have just exploded my first babybel! What a revelation! 😂

dustmotesinthesun · 17/06/2017 17:27

Thank you Naschkatze Flowers

I really need to try exploded babybel. Would it work with other cheeses do you think?

ilovecherries · 17/06/2017 17:59

Ha! I fit into a pair of Nike running shorts! Not a sentence I ever thought I would utter. I'm planning to do weeks 3-5 of C25K on holiday. We'll be walk/jogging the promenade every morning at 6am before it gets too hot. Which will be a nice change from vertical walks in the Lake District. Go me (I hope!)

StuntNun · 17/06/2017 18:05

Looking forward to this bad boy for dinner. Grin

AdalindSchade · 17/06/2017 18:09

I've had a lovely day catching up with friends but I bought some mini cheese portions and ate them all but still hungry so I think maybe I didn't have enough fat with lunch.
We went to tibits in the end www.tibits.ch and I had a gorgeous salad, roast cauliflower, edamame beans, green stuff, guacamole, olives, vinaigrette and harissa. Probably more carbs than I should have had but nothing terrible. ignore the 2 glasses of dry white

Need to avoid cheese for dinner but otherwise pretty pleased with myself today!

Oh My God what a stressy few days I have had. Bloody chaos. I don't like chaos. I like order and schedules and lists and keeping to time.
I had to organise a big meeting. Not something I do. It was like herding cats.

I am exhausted. I have kept to HFLC despite feeding 30 difficult people in carbs and bread and crisps (and salad and stuff too).

And I am drinking wine.

Giraffeski · 17/06/2017 18:12

@dustmotes it definitely works with cheddar, gouda and parmesan - just check the times as they might not be the same so you may need to experiment.

ilovecherries · 17/06/2017 18:22

Oh yes, and the bloody dermatologist went on to say in the next para 'the patient alleges (his emphasis) that she walks at least 5 miles a day outside with her dog, and spends some time gardening, and reports that she always wears a high factor sunscreen on her face.'

My daughter had come with me for moral support and when we got outside after she said to me 'wonder what you did to rattle his cage, he really seemed to take a dislike to you'. So even she noticed he was off, and that was before the letter came. Thankfully the antibiotic gel he prescribed did fix the problem, but that's all I can say in his favour.

MOIST · 17/06/2017 19:16

I need something sweet.

HELP ME!!!!!

bellalurgy · 17/06/2017 19:17

One thing I sussed out with the medical profession pretty quickly - whatever you go to the docs for it's because you're fat. Lose some weight and your migraines/eczema/ingrown toenail will get better!

Anyway, popped back to correct my earlier post. MFP tells me in 10 days it will be my 20 week marker not 10 week ....... so I'll weigh in 10 days time just before my daughter's graduation Grin

Anyway, been for a lovely long walk even though it was really hot. We're really lucky to have moved to within 10 mins walk of Salisbury Craggs (Edinburgh) so I'm trying to make myself walk up more hills. By the end of the summer I should be able to get to the top.

Lovely bit of pork for dinner so feeling pretty stuffed now. Off to catch up on the rest of the thread, everyone's doing so well x

dustmotesinthesun · 17/06/2017 19:31

Moist have you got any favourite snacky things lying around. Cheese? Pork scratchings? Some coconut cream to eat with berries. Sparkling water? Can you go and chug lots of water and then brush your teeth?

It passes. Stick with it. You'll regret it if you give in.

MOIST · 17/06/2017 19:33

Emergency berries with yogurt and cream. Quite a lot of it. Stuffed. Feel a bit sick.

styledilemma · 17/06/2017 19:37

Good day today up until an hour ago.

We have a tub of M & S Extra thick cream in the fridge.
Correction, we had a tub of M & S Extra thick cream in the fridge Blush

I was spooning some into some coffee and before I knew what was happening, I'd eaten half the tub.
I can't be trusted around cream. Obviously.
There's something about cream isn't there? It's crack cocaine of the food world.

So yes, I've pigged out on the cream today.

styledilemma · 17/06/2017 19:39

Those scales definitely won't be moving on Monday.

Moist, I feel your pain Sad
