Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Setting this up early this week, as I have a stupid o'clock start tomorrow, and I know I'll forget!

Hope all has gone well this week.

We have three weeks left, so still time to see a significant loss on the scales.

Here's to a good week for us all

Oh and you can have anything you want for breakfast. I sometimes have bacon and avocado or leftover roast chicken and veggies.

CaptainBraandPants · 31/03/2017 20:40

Hesdead Yay! more dog photos and lovely looking food, too.
Dogblep I had to look up ackee, never heard of them before. It sounds like an interesting supper.
Shiraz What about greek yoghurt or bacon or sausages or avocado or olives or just about anything you fancy. Although, you don't have to eat breakfast. I rarely do, just have a creamy coffee or three.

Had fish pie with sautéed asparagus for dinner and it was bloody lovely, even if I do say so myself. Even the dog enjoyed some. Grin

SummerSazz · 31/03/2017 21:48

This woe is so easy! Having been away all week there is bugger all food in the house , so I grabbed some curry leftover from the freezer, heated it and threw it over a bowlful of raw spinach and slopped on some ff natural yoghurt. Delicious and prepared Ina bout 3.5 minutes!

Hesdeadjim · 01/04/2017 08:40

SummerSazz I agree it's super easy. If it's green, fry it in butter Grin

I find it's easy when you're out and about too. On weight watchers you couldn't really accurately track a meal out because you never knew what anything was cooked in and it always felt like cheating. With this WOE it doesn't matter if it's fried in butter or oil or anything, all you have to do is avoid obvious carbs :) you're pretty much always safe ordering steak and asking for salad instead of chips, or a tandoori based meal rather than a sweet curry etc etc. Dead easy in the supermarket too if you're looking for a quick lunch, just grab one of the roasted chickens and a bag of salad and you're done :)

By far the thing I love most about it is that I don't have to think about it now, I know what I can and can't eat at this stage so it's become second nature. I haven't tracked my food for 2 weeks now and the feeling of guilt around that is gone :)

BIWI · 01/04/2017 09:52

That's really good to hear, @Hesdeadjim. A major milestone for all of us is separating the emotion from our food choices.

I agree it's so delicious. I really very rarely feel deprived.

PissPotPourri · 01/04/2017 20:02

Evening all. I feel a bit out of control these last few days. I'm just really hungry and have been eating far more the usual, in particular because I've been inspired by the weather and a house full of mostly child guests, and preparing lots of grazing board type meals. I can never stop picking at that type of thing so have had loads of cold meat, cheese, asparagus, avocado, cucumber etc etc. I haven't eaten anything I shouldn't have, desire the hot chocolate fudge cake I served to everyone else, but have drunk a bit yesterday and on it again tonight, and just eaten far more then i usually do. I can't get rid of my guilty feeling and just feel so fat and like the last few weeks have been wasted.
I appreciate it might be the wine that's making me hungry and feel bad, but I'm torn between feeling fat and horrid and just wanting to sod it and fill up on carby snacks.

BIWI · 01/04/2017 20:41

Well - if you're genuinely hungry, then it means you're not eating enough! Are you eating enough fat? Are you drinking enough water?

Otherwise, as long as you stick to low carb choices, then you should be fine.

(And yes, definitely keep an eye on the wine - as well as the carbs you're consuming, as long as you're drinking alcohol, your body is burning that for fuel rather than fat)

I'm going to try and log my meals here each day for the remainder of BC, it keeps me accountable and hopefully will go some way towards keeping the carb creep at bay.

B: scrambled and egg and sausage with buttery spinach. Couldn't manage much of this, wasn't hungry too much vodka last night
L: creamy coffee
D: homemade Greek feast! Tzatziki, lamb meatballs and roast herby courgettes.
Only managed 1.5l today, have another litre in front of me to go. I feel so so thirsty which might be because I have a cold.

wishfulblinking · 02/04/2017 06:52

shiraz I don't like eggs much either so have been making a Keto porridge of 1/2 cup chia seeds, 1/2 cup (whizzed in stick blender) flaxseed/linseed, 1 cup boiling water, few drops vanilla essence (no added sugar) and loads of cinnamon and then after a few minutes add some Greek yoga or double cream and maybe couple frozen raspberries. But that's more boot camp light I think but I had it from mid week 2 when the thought of another egg made me want to hurl.
Also Queen Keto's bread has been a diet saver for me - super easy to make and so nice with lashings of butter and marmite in the morn.

CaptainBraandPants · 02/04/2017 07:08

Morning all. Dh and I went out to dinner to my favourite restaurant last night. i wanted to have a nice evening and not feel as if I were depriving myself, but also not go mad. I think i got the balance right:
G&T with thimble full of green stuff - posh gazpacho
Starter: soft shelled crab
Main: Pot roast lamb with veg, seasonal greens and red cabbage
I didn't have the bread, gave DH my potato thingy and left all the peas
Afters: Dh and I shared a cheese board, so half the cheese each. He had the crackers and I had the celery.
Coffee with cream - they brought me hot milk, so I had to ask for them to replace it with cream. I didn't eat any of the petit fours.
We also shared a bottle of wine, but I definitely had less than half because I'm a light weight, maybe about a third.
Sorry to bore everyone with the menu, I think I just want to reassure myself I did ok. Had a lovely evening anyway Grin

BIWI · 02/04/2017 09:16

That sounds brilliant!

Captains never find food menus boring, they help as a reminder of all the delicious food you can keep on track with.

I seem to be controlling my carb desire again. I'm eating breakfast daily to help with this. My favourite at the moment is fried egg mess. Tastes better than it looks. Smile

Hi All,

Another week almost over, so another pat on the back for everyone, and big thanks for everyone who posts on this thread. It's the most amazing support. I've never stuck with any weight loss programme this long in my life.

Looking at my graph for the last 30 days, I'm slowly but steadily losing. I weigh every day, and so it feels like there are a lot of steps back, but I'm definitely going in the right direction.

This week I treated myself to some new clothes. A lot of new clothes in fact, but all from charity shops. I'm lucky to live within striking distance of a few small towns each with three or four charity shops, so I've been to them all. Like a woman possessed. Blush

I've probably spent just over £80 in total, but I've managed to buy over 20 items for that, including a coat, blazer, shoes, bag, pendant, jeans, tops, jumpers and a scarf. I am like a new (much slimmer) woman. I don't ever want to own anything that's a size eighteen again, so I thought if I get a new 'slim me' wardrobe I'll have more motivation to KOKO, and an instant warning sign if the pounds start to reappear.

I am very lucky that I've only got about 6lbs more to get to my target weight (that will make a total 2 st 4 loss), but for those of you who are on a longer journey, I would definitely recommend buying yourselves something to show off your changing shape. It is such a psychological boost, and if you get something from the charity shop, it's a karma boost too Grin

Greengoose i've been raiding ebay! I've had so many bargains it's unreal. And all nearly new stuff in fantastic condition. In fact i think browsing on ebay for nice things is replacing comfort eating. I'm loving scrolling through things, even if i don't buy them. It's relaxing. I got a White stuff tunic for 99p this week, a naked make up palette for £5 and a beautiful jumper for £2.50.

I just have to rein myself in a bit now Wink

Another good diet day here. It's so nice feeling you've made good choices.
