Evening all!

Just getting this out there, so that everyone knows where to go/what to do in the morning.

Here's the link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I'd like to say a massive thank you and Flowers to Sayrra and Wombattoo who set this up and maintain it for us all.

PLEASE don't touch anything other than the cell where you input your weight.

If your name isn't on the list, just add it to the bottom, and it will be magically re-alphabetised to include you.

It's called the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness because of all the information and resources that are available to us. Look at the tabs at the bottom - the rules are there, along with the veg counter, and all manner of resources for you to read up more about low carbing.

If you can't access it, or can't input your weight, just add your weight to the chat thread, and someone will do it for you. (I believe it's difficult to do it from your phone).

But more than anything else, a massive good luck to you all!

All I can say to you is follow the rules!

It does work, but only if you follow them.

Good luck everyone.

Evening all, hectic day today after stupid early start so now shattered. Was in a catered lunch meeting and so nearly cracked but I stayed strong. Very dairy heavy, but still all low carb.

B: yogurt, cream
L: had two hefty chunks of cheese about 4.30pm
D: steak in peppercorn butter, cauli cheese, roast asparagus

Must cut back on the cheese tomorrow, just such an easy snack.

Blubberfull · 09/02/2017 20:21

Delicious dinner here so very tasty.

Pork loin steak with creamy mushroom sauce - best thing I have eaten all week

I'll add the recipe if anyone fancies it

Full and happy here Grin

OwlInAnOakTree · 09/02/2017 20:33

dementedma here's how I do egg & bacon cups:

line a muffin tin with a rasher or two of bacon, break an egg into it, sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven. That's it. Smile

Blubberfull · 09/02/2017 20:34

Streaky bacon of back bacon?

SayrraT · 09/02/2017 20:37

To anyone who has "cheated" and then come on to apologise or show a wee Blush face. Just think about it, we (everyone on BC) are all here to support each other but it doesn't actually matter to us if a particular person sticks to the WOE and loses weight or not.

The only person that matters to is YOU! And probably your friends and family.

If you want this WOE to be successful you need to stick to it. It's only 2 weeks we need to go without chocolate etc. After this, on BClite, it is possible to haveoccasional treats.

If you can't go the 2 weeks without succumbing to chocolate/crisps/biscuits etc then I think that's really telling about how addictive those things can be.

Remember you are doing this for you, no one else. LCHF does work, really well! but you have to work at it. It's not a miracle.

SayrraT · 09/02/2017 20:59

Food today

B: coffee with cream, spoonful coconut oil
L: salmon with salad, FF yog (with mascarpone mixed in) with vanilla
D: other bit of salmon with broccoli and kalettes
S: pork scratchings, cheese

Was at flexibility for pole tonight and I've very very almost got my front splits!

pk78 · 09/02/2017 21:19

Is tuna sweetcorn spread allowed ?

SayrraT · 09/02/2017 21:22

I'd think that the sweetcorn will make it too carby. Can you check the package?

pk78 · 09/02/2017 21:28

Thank you Syrra..should it be below 3g/100g. Sorry for all the random questions...in my defence I have never done low carbing before.

SayrraT · 09/02/2017 21:37

Yes, below 3g/100g but more is ok too, 5g/100g but I guess sweetcorn is higher.

Don't worry, ask away Smile

ifink · 09/02/2017 21:50

can I ask a question? I've been lurking around as I'm trying out Low carbing following on from giving up sugar for 2 weeks!! are there recommended portion sizes/overall calorie total? or is it just sticking to three meals....I have a massive appetite which seems to have slowed down a bit but I read some people's menus on here for the day and I think wow, I've eaten a lot more than that !! (but all low carb stuff)......

ClopySow · 09/02/2017 21:52

Breakfast - coffee with cream and a bacon and egg muffiny thing
Lunch - salad with avocado, olives, salami and mayo
Dinner - lambs breast with creamy leek and mushrooms

3,490,624 gallons of water.

867,322,404 trips to the toilet.

Breath - awful.

Energy levels - tremendous.

SayrraT · 09/02/2017 21:59

ifink there is no calorie guide on BC, just eat until you are satisfied (much easier on LC than other WOE!). I find that when I start I need to eat loads, but I just make sure it's LCHF. One day a week or two ago (before official BC I ate 2 duck breasts for dinner.

Do you want to give us an example of your meals so we can tell you if it looks OK?

Veryflummoxed · 09/02/2017 22:05

I took a pack up breakfast and lunch and ate while travelling today, dinner was left over from yesterday.

ALL my water and it didn't feel so difficult today

Thanks Sayrra, so today was:
Breakfast: total full fat yoghurt with 4 raspberries
Snacks: 2 slices of jarlsberg, coffee with cream
Lunch- smoked salmon and parma ham on salad plus some camembert
Dinner: 2 large chicken breasts (!!!!!) with 2 mini chorizo sausages with spinach and more salad
I can't stop eating!

BIWI · 09/02/2017 22:07

@pk78

Have you read the Bootcamp rules? Have you looked at the allowed veg list? You'll see, if you do, that sweetcorn really isn't allowed.

OP posts:
Kleptronic · 09/02/2017 22:18

B: 2 eggs scrambled in butter, 2 rashers bacon, french mayo.
L: chicken leg, slice of Jarlsberg cheese.
D: 2 slices belly pork, kale, quark.
3 coffee with cream.
2ltrs water.

mrwalkensir · 09/02/2017 22:29

B&L salami, ham and cauliflower cheese (not sure if I'm overdoing the cheese and cream a bit). Miso soup
D - burger (100% beef) and mushrooms. Loving the food and felt full of energy.

momofgirls · 09/02/2017 22:32

Enjoying the lists and photos of foods.

B Greek yogurt
L mushroom cooked in garlic butter with Boursin topping.
D pork steak with leeks, pepper, shallot roasted in olive oil
Coffee with cream x 2
Water think I've hit the three litre mark today.
Soon be Monday KOKO

Glitterkitten24 · 09/02/2017 22:37

I feel like I've eaten a TON today, but I think it's all been pretty low carb so it's ok....

B- ff greek yoghurt
L - humongous salad with lettuce, cucumber, olives, tuna, feta and mayonnaise
D- chicken beast roasted with plum toms, mange tout, aubergine. Served on rocket.
S - garlic sausage, olives, 3 creamy coffees.

Today I've had a meeting where biscuits were passed round, and date night (non eating) with DH and have still stuck to my food plans- quite proud!

MyShinyThing · 10/02/2017 06:45

I feel absolutely terrible this morning, think the carb flu has hit hard. I really struggled to get out of bed & when I did I was so dizzy I nearly fell over! I downed half a litre of water as soon as I got up & have had a BPC but I'm still really dizzy!

Is dizziness a symptom of carb flu? I don't remember it last time.

Today will be:
B: BPC - I'm finding I'm just not hungry in the morning & really can't face food so early.
L: Mushroom & spinach soup
D: Sausages, cauli mash & something green cooked in butter.

I will drink 3l today as I didn't quite manage it yesterday. KOKO

GrassWillBeGreener · 10/02/2017 06:48

Doing fairly well so far. Managed to make cupcakes for my son's school Wed afternoon without licking out the bowl or even tasting - kept a bowl with a dollop of pate and some celery sticks nearby and a mouthful every so often made a real difference, interestingly. Icing them yesterday morning went nearly as well - managed with only a couple of genuinely tiny fingertip tastes.

Looks like I'm 6 lb down so far; last (and only) time I dropped weight so fast was when I went home last year when my father died. We weren't exactly low carbing but just eating what we could bother with (was also hot); and I wasn't going anywhere near the shops and when we did I didn't like the prices! I think I only bought chocolate once in a month ... So I guess I'm finally making the changes I knew I needed to a year ago.

SayrraT · 10/02/2017 06:57

Sorry ifink I went to bed!

Probably in the grand scheme of things your meals are OK but (Grin) smoked salmon, parma ham and chorizo are all processed, BC rules "avoid processed meat".

Secondly no fruit in the first two weeks, after this you can have your raspberries Smile

Lastly, not sure how big your salads are but you could maybe add more veg to your evening meal.

Don't worry about quantity just now, your appetite should reduce after you've been LCing for a bit.

Imissmy0ldusername · 10/02/2017 07:31

Morning! Those 2lb that popped on have come back off - so net 1lb down. I'll take that Grin

B: 2 egg omlette with courgettes, mushrooms and streaky bacon.
L: Chicken, Avocado & egg salad (lettuce being the green) dressed with extra virgin olive oil.
D: The last of the Lamb doner, with fried leek and (yet more) lettuce.

Had the best nights' sleep ever last night, although I really can't believe it's only Friday - this feels like the longest week EVER! Talking of which - best get on with it.
