Evening all!

Just getting this out there, so that everyone knows where to go/what to do in the morning.

Here's the link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I'd like to say a massive thank you and Flowers to Sayrra and Wombattoo who set this up and maintain it for us all.

PLEASE don't touch anything other than the cell where you input your weight.

If your name isn't on the list, just add it to the bottom, and it will be magically re-alphabetised to include you.

It's called the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness because of all the information and resources that are available to us. Look at the tabs at the bottom - the rules are there, along with the veg counter, and all manner of resources for you to read up more about low carbing.

If you can't access it, or can't input your weight, just add your weight to the chat thread, and someone will do it for you. (I believe it's difficult to do it from your phone).

But more than anything else, a massive good luck to you all!

All I can say to you is follow the rules!

It does work, but only if you follow them.

Good luck everyone.

Good day despite travelling for work

L - chicken salad with Maya
S - 2 hardboiled eggs & spinach
D- pork Spanish style with spinach, 2 tablespoons ff natural yoghurt

4 litres water

Oddly my tooth has chipped off - don't know when/how it happened but hope it's not a side effect of low carbing? Sad

SummerSazz · 08/02/2017 20:01

I had some of that coyo the other week and thought it was utterly vile!

Youcandoit36 · 08/02/2017 20:06

Is soy sauce allowed for flavour?

Musicianofbremen · 08/02/2017 20:33

Much excitement after finding a different herbal tea in the back of the cupboard.

I'm making a shopping list/meal plan for next week. Does anyone have any must buys?

wombattoo · 08/02/2017 20:35

Welcome Lexa
Youcan I think so. You will be using relatively small amounts I imagine?

Aderyn2016 · 08/02/2017 20:44

Have just drunk 2 big mugs of tea in an attempt to make up for the chocolate Wink

mrwalkensir · 08/02/2017 20:45

B & L left over cabbage sautéed with bacon, salami and a few prawns and mayonnaise. Chicken curry and kale tonight . Just made a cauliflower cheese with BIWI's cheese sauce. Food of the gods...

playmobilpeacock · 08/02/2017 20:53

I also had cauliflower cheese with low carb cheese sauce ( a slightly different version) and it's so good.

DH follows a ketogenic diet and he's very happy to have all this suitable food in the house.

I recommend Taylor of Harrogate for herbal teas. The sweet rhubarb is delicious.

Flisspaps · 08/02/2017 20:56

@keeponkeepinon it's the total carbs you look at Smile

mrwalkensir · 08/02/2017 20:56

Playmobilpeacock - the sweet rhubarb is one of my favourites during the day 😀 Remembered whilst cooking off some mushrooms tonight that we used to do a mushroom stroganoff at university. Would probably be a good low carb vegetarian option?

concretejungle · 08/02/2017 20:58

About to read the thread.... can someone add my starting weight of 11st2? Thanks

bettyblueeyes83 · 08/02/2017 21:15

Evening all. So busy I'm barely thinking about BC which weirdly makes it easier.

B: coffee with cream, scambled eggs with cheese, Cherry toms
L: tuna feta salad
D: burgers with salad, cheese and mayo
S: chicken with pesto

Some milk jumped into my coffee at work. I just can't get back into drinking it black, I feel like it's too acidic. Will have to brave buying cream for work too and face down any questions! Confused

GrassWillBeGreener · 08/02/2017 21:17

I've realised I'm going to have to have an "evening off" on Saturday week - going to a black tie dinner that has been in the calendar for months. I'm pretty sure the meal choice was pre-ordered too. Since I'm coeliac it will at least be gluten free and by then I may be able to persuade myself to leave any / most potato or rice alone, but dessert may be another matter.

Any tips as to what extent one night "off" will interfere, how to prioritise what I stay stricter on?

Musicianofbremen · 08/02/2017 21:29

Ooh mushroom stroganof. Wierdly we used to make it at uni too.
Thanks for the tea recommendation. Need to go to work armed with interesting teas to avoid the biscuit tin I think.

mrwalkensir · 08/02/2017 21:31

Seem to remember the mushroom stroganoff recipe was in a Cranks recipe book....

SummerSazz · 08/02/2017 21:32

I make the hairy bikers beef stroganoff, heavy on the mushrooms

Musicianofbremen · 08/02/2017 21:35

How funny. Ours was in a really dog eared book of one pots. Actually another staple was goulash that would be a good one too.

OwlInAnOakTree · 08/02/2017 21:36

Aah, goulash is my plan for tomorrow too. Smile

dementedma · 08/02/2017 21:44

Why can we have cream in coffee but not milk?

feekerry · 08/02/2017 21:47

dementedma cream is lower in carbs than your average semi skimmed milk and it's higher in fat Smile

dementedma · 08/02/2017 21:48

Ah, thank you. I never understood that one

feekerry · 08/02/2017 21:49

Typically 2.6g per 100ml for double cream vs 4.8g for semi skimmed milk x

LazydaysofSummer · 08/02/2017 22:03

BIWI thank you for al the tome and effort you put into this.

I'm managing to stick to it so far, despite forgetting to take my salad to work today.

B Scrambled eggs with butter
L Tesco Smoked Ham and Egg Omelette Wrap (which with only 4.6 g of carbs I thought it was a great find!)
D Fish baked with parsley and butter, broccoli and a few Mangetout

Drinking 3L water plus numerous fruit tea, with a proper cup of tea for supper.

Imissmy0ldusername · 08/02/2017 22:19

Something strange is happening. I'm sober as a judge and have had a full on hysterical laughing fit about the Krankies and their autobiography. @BIWI - I blame you!

BIWI · 08/02/2017 22:24
Grin

Sorry!
