Sorry guys - I was up and out of the house really early this morning, and then on a train to the Midlands with a shed-load of work to do. I completely forgot it was Monday, truth to tell! Blush

You've probably already used the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness, but just in case, here's the link!

I hope all is going well. I'm guessing it's getting tricker as the Christmas parties start, but hope you can make it to the end!

Been away a couple of days but good to see some amazing successes.

I still feel stalled even though I am hugely overweight. I keep going up and down around 17st. How do I get things properly moving again?

BIWI · 11/12/2016 08:57

DearPrudence

If you look on the tabs if the spreadsheet you'll find three days worth of menus for 'ubercamp'. Which is very low carb and dairy free. Try that and see what happens

Thank you Wombat - that's interesting about drinks with sweeteners...... makes sense though - they must rekindle your desire for something sugary!
Never tried soda water, so will give it a go, otherwise fizzy water would probably be a good option.

Also BIWI what a revelation the full extent of spread sheet is - a feast of lc delights. I hadn't got beyond the weigh in details before this. THANK YOU!!

Well I went to my big party last night.
In case anyone was wondering I can 100% confirm for you that low carb/weight loss and quite a lot of alcohol do not mix. Not even a little bit Shock WineXmas Blush
I have been very friendly with the toilet today

DearPrudence · 11/12/2016 19:15

Really fee? Did you also find that the alcohol had more effect?
And did you have carby food as well?

I'm planning to drink for the first time on Friday. I'm a bit worried that all my carb cravings will come straight back.

feekerry · 11/12/2016 19:28

I didn't have any carby food. I have been on it big style this week. I had a late lunch of salmon and avocado. There was a buffet there and I had some chicken etc.
I have had drinks prev, most weekends since boot camp lite started but this was my first 'proper' night out.
TBH I didn't have that much. Maybe just over a bottle of wine thru the evening (that's not a lot for me compared to prev outings Blush)
But ye, it hit me hard and fast. I had a good night but feel dreadful today. Been sick a lot.

feekerry · 11/12/2016 19:34

Bad gut as well Blush

DearPrudence · 11/12/2016 19:35

Sounds a bit grim today but glad you had a nice time. Late lunch sounds a good way to go on the day.

I haven't been checking in as I've been doing some seriously stupid hours at work. Unfortunately they have meant that a few sandwiches have been consumed- and left me feeling like shit afterwards. And the worst is- I was hungry 5 minutes later, where as I have noticed that when lc-ing, I have stopped being hungry all of the time and can easily go 5 hours between meals. I am also beginning not to crave sugar, but it's only baby steps, as I just love cake way too much.

Today has been proper low carb though, a bit too much dairy- more than I would usually have.

Breakfast- eggs, cucumber, mayo
Lunch- boiled eggs with mayo, salad
Dinner- roast chicken, green vegetables, cream and chicken juice sauce with a bit of mustard

Snacks- pork crackling. I have discovered some amazing crackling in pound world- it comes in a white bag with blue letters and inside the crackling is all huge and puffed up and no pork fat, just skin. It's very light in texture.

Lots of water and tea. Snacking on salty crackling helps with consuming loads of water!
