Morning all. Sorry for the later than usual thread, but I'm away at the moment/1

Anyway, here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

As we've now completed the first two, more strict, weeks of Bootcamp you have a choice. You can move on to Bootcamp Light, (rules are on the spreadsheet tabs), which essentially means you can add in a few nuts/seeds, and some fruit (berries, and strictly in moderation), and you can have alcohol occasionally.

However, if you haven't really done Bootcamp strictly enough, or you cheated, or just because you think it's going well, you can stay on Bootcamp. (If you do, though, please make sure your carbs are mainly coming from vegetables and salad, to make sure that you're getting a good balance of nutrition)

Alternatively, you can do Bootcamp during the week but Bootcamp Light at the weekend. The choice is yours.

However, there is one thing I have to warn you about. Weeks 3 and 4 are notorious for little or no weight loss. If this happens to you, please don't panic! Just keep on keeping on and things will start to move again.

After initial big losses in the first couple of weeks, you can't feasibly expect to see that continue, and you should that weight loss settles down at around 1-3lbs a week, depending on how much you have to lose.

Good luck all! Flowers

Actually, upon further investigation, only one-half of the Lean in 15 book is any good, the other half is carby after-workout food :(

granjinx · 31/05/2016 15:17

Happy to have lost a stone in 3 weeks (started a week early). On really strong antibiotics at the moment for an infected Blandford Fly Bite - feel sick and can't face eating. Sad face here. Thanks for the support.

BursarsFrogs · 31/05/2016 15:31

Okay, berries are not a good idea for me then. Blush I bought a pack, thinking both me and DH could have a bit with cream in the evening. I've just gone through the entire 400g pack, and binge cravings are back with a vengence. Not buying anymore berries, then!

reader77 · 31/05/2016 15:37

Wanheda there a lot of nice low carb recipes though.

WanHeda · 31/05/2016 15:44

reader77 yes, have bookmarked quite a few to try! The sausage recipe is first, going to try that tomorrow once I have picked up some fennel.

anniebambammie · 31/05/2016 15:53

Hmmm I read up thread that someone is only doing BC lite as they are breastfeeding.... Oops. Is that a thing or just personal choice?

Whyarethebestnamestaken · 31/05/2016 16:16

Hi,

I am a bit of a lurker but have read a bit about the Coyo yogurt but can't find it in any supermarket so far. Where are you all getting it from please?

WanHeda · 31/05/2016 16:31

why I have seen it in Tesco but I know Waitrose also sell it. Too pricey for me though, sadly.

lexloofah · 31/05/2016 16:45

wanheda I have the real meal book, the nutty crackers are great, we always have some in a tin and they keep for weeks. the hot choc was a lifesaver over winter too. the lasagne with psyllium husk pasta is good too, I am getting better each time I make it at rolling it a bit thinner and it fools the DCs

thanks cider thankfully it wasn't a no-kids weekend, now that would have been a mega disappointing weekend, I am just worn out from following him around with bleach spray as he seems to keep touching everything in sight and it is driving me crazy trying to make sure we don't get it too

B - courgettes in butter, eggs with butter, cream and cheese to keep me going as needed a late lunch as went to a National Trust place which are generally useless for LCHF so had a cup of tea
L - poached salmon, leaves, hm mayo
D - will be helen browning organic hot dogs on cloud bread, buttered broad beans (are they OK?) and I don't know what else maybe roasted shallots

I am experimenting with cloud bread as thought I would add some vanilla powder to half of the mix and try to make eclairs or some sort of stackable dessert with cream, a few berries and choc as really need some sort of treat today, will see how that goes

eleven59 · 31/05/2016 16:58

Are nut butters allowed? I can't find them on 'the list' but I'm sure I've seen them mentioned on threads...

trixymalixy · 31/05/2016 16:59

I can't remember who was asking about a LC diet and running. I ran 5k at lunchtime today for the first time since I started BC. I was worried about lack of energy having had no carbs but i was absolutely fine, in fact even given how hot it was I felt like I had loads of energy.

Titsalinabumsquash · 31/05/2016 16:59

I did the butter pork (didn't have chicken in the freezer) from the recipe thread, my kids wolfed it down and said I have yo make it again, I had mine with cauli rice, they had pilau.

eleven59 · 31/05/2016 17:06

trixy - I was asking about running. I'm struggling a bit with it for some reason, limbs just feel very heavy and I'm not managing the same distances. Strangely, biking is not affected so maybe its in my head.

WanHeda · 31/05/2016 17:39

Made this for tea, was so delicious! It's Asian style meatballs in broth.

Mookbark · 31/05/2016 18:01

eleven nut butters are allowed on BC lite - just make sure it's unsweetened. I've got almond butter, which from memory, is 6-7g carb per 100g.
lex I don't think broad beans are allowed. I think they are very carby.

I've had a difficult day today, purely because I'm at home and wanted to eat just...because.
I've held off and had lc snacks.
So, I've eaten:
B - 2 eggs, 3 rashers of bacon, mushrooms all fried in coconut oil
L - soft cheese on celery, radishes, prawns in Marie Rose sauce
D - will be beef curry. I've added mushrooms, shallots and spinach to yesterday's leftover beef so make a curry. Will have with cauli rice.
S - lump of Brie, about a quarter of a square of 90% chic, may have the rest of the square later. GrinWill also probably have a spicy chai latte later.

WanHeda · 31/05/2016 18:12

Asda crunchy peanut butter is 4.6 per 100g, but be careful because the smooth is 10g!

momofgirls · 31/05/2016 18:21

Moved this from old link no 2 week.
Please add 159.4 lb.
Drifted between this and 158 this week but admit have had wine at weekend. Will KOKO
Going to try the butter chicken this week every post reports its good.

lexloofah · 31/05/2016 18:30

mook thanks, when I got to the fridge it turned out they were stringless beans rather than broad but yes still over the limit so for occasional consumption only.

my cloud éclair type thing was heavenly but again for occasional treat only, stuffed now, only peppermint tea and more water planned for rest of the evening

Mookbark · 31/05/2016 18:42

The cloud Clair's sound lovely Lex, I'll keep them in mind for a treat.
Can someone link to the butter chicken recipe again, please as I feel as if I am missing out and want to try it, but can't find it on the previous threads. Thanks

MaryThorne · 31/05/2016 19:03

DH and I had the day off work today and went out for lunch. My steak was delicious but had to go for garlic butter with it as the blue cheese sauce I really wanted was thickened with flour so probably a bit to carby! Just going to make up for it with a lump of blue cheese before dinner Grin

Is Chinese salted chilli spare ribs OK?Confused

MushroomTree · 31/05/2016 19:37

Anyone else got achy legs? I've just had my second cup of marmite today. Off to get myself a magnesium and calcium supplement tomorrow!

glenthebattleostrich · 31/05/2016 19:47

Tried naked rice today. Feeling a bit like I have trapped wind so hoping it passes before bed.

Feeling a bit smug today. Went to soft play with the kids who all had pizza but I had hunters chicken minus the bbq sauce with salad. It caused much confusion! Also spent ages chasing kids through the play frame so knackered.

Food today

B ffs greek yogurt with chia seeds, a chai tea with coconut oil and cream
L chicken, bacon and melted cheese with salad
T shin beef with mushrooms and bare naked rice

Drinks 2 litres water (so far) and 2 pots of herbal tea.
