Morning all. Sorry for the later than usual thread, but I'm away at the moment/1

Anyway, here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

As we've now completed the first two, more strict, weeks of Bootcamp you have a choice. You can move on to Bootcamp Light, (rules are on the spreadsheet tabs), which essentially means you can add in a few nuts/seeds, and some fruit (berries, and strictly in moderation), and you can have alcohol occasionally.

However, if you haven't really done Bootcamp strictly enough, or you cheated, or just because you think it's going well, you can stay on Bootcamp. (If you do, though, please make sure your carbs are mainly coming from vegetables and salad, to make sure that you're getting a good balance of nutrition)

Alternatively, you can do Bootcamp during the week but Bootcamp Light at the weekend. The choice is yours.

However, there is one thing I have to warn you about. Weeks 3 and 4 are notorious for little or no weight loss. If this happens to you, please don't panic! Just keep on keeping on and things will start to move again.

After initial big losses in the first couple of weeks, you can't feasibly expect to see that continue, and you should that weight loss settles down at around 1-3lbs a week, depending on how much you have to lose.

Good luck all! Flowers

Well done to those of you who ma manged to avoid the carbs today, the scales will probably thank you in the morning - and no carb hangover to deal with!

WanHeda · 05/06/2016 17:52

The thing about lovely weather is that barbecue food is really good for low carbing! Tonight we're having home-made burgers (no bun for me, obviously), Black Farmer sausages and lamb chops marinated in garlic and rosemary, grilled peppers which I'll fix with a mix of bacon, cream cheese and Boursin.

I cba to cook much today so I griddled chicken breasts with basic seasoning in coconut oil and served with sautéed cabbage with creamy cheese sauce and steamed buttered broccoli and sprouts. Everyone ate it, I finished up with some coyo. Smile

wombattoo · 05/06/2016 18:10

All those meals look delicious, especially the meatzza.
I went to a party last night and didn't go anywhere near the food. I did have wine tho.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for weigh in tomorrow.

SingToMeInFrench · 05/06/2016 18:23

Meatzza looks amazing! Is it on the recipe thread?

Had a sneaky G&T earlier, mainly because my ever so helpful MIL was telling me that my 3yr old DS is "hyperactive" and "unfocused". Hmm Angry

B: BPC and a pancetta muffin
L: chicken thigh, Mayo, celery and cucumber with cream cheese
D: leftover homemade fajitas from last night, in lettuce cups with full fat sour cream and loads of cheese and homemade guacamole. Mmm!

LaserShark · 05/06/2016 18:27

B - Greek yoghurt with cinnamon
L - leftover bolognese with buttered leeks and courgetti
D - salmon fillet and veg, all fried in oil
S - warm almond milk with cream, cinnamon and ginger in the morning, lump of cheese in the afternoon.

Sparkling water and black coffee.

LaserShark · 05/06/2016 18:43

Oops. Square of dark chocolate.

WanHeda · 05/06/2016 19:15

Added my version of the meatzza recipe to the recipe thread.

BursarsFrogs · 05/06/2016 19:23

Unlike many of you, I really really haven't lost my appetite. Actually I've been getting properly hungry before food, I think. I don't have a very good ability to really recognise physical fullness/hunger, but I think I've been doing okay in only eating what's felt right. I hope.

Foods today:

B: two eggs, an avocado, salami and tomatoes
L: halloumi, spinach and olives
S: two creamy coffees and a bowl of FF Total
D: a chicken leg and a wing, swede and broccoli

4 litres of water so far, and I'm sure I'll still drink more! Shock I've just felt thirsty.

Only couple of slips today - some of DS (2)'s chocolate ice cream dripped on my hand and I licked it off (just a drop) - I didn't feel I was missing out. Then I had a can of Diet Coke - it was hot and we were out with friends and it was my first reaction when they asked me what I wanted to drink. I didn't really enjoy it.

DH has suggested Chinese takeaway tonight - looking at the menu, I thought roast pork foo yung might be OK as it's basically omelette. Does anyone have any idea if it will be?

stilllovingmysleep · 05/06/2016 20:01

BursarFrog your food looks amazing!!!

WanHeda · 05/06/2016 20:03

Agreed, it looks lovely!

stilllovingmysleep · 05/06/2016 20:03

How do you make the swede chips? Like you would ordinary chips?

WanHeda · 05/06/2016 20:05

Mary, yes foo young does tend to me like a mix between omelette and scrambled egg.

StrawberryLeaf · 05/06/2016 20:11

What a lovely sunny day today, Biwi's bbq sounds good, wish we had put ours on.

I've had;

B - Greek yoghurt, slices of cheese, cucumber and tiny scrape of marmite and a creamy coffee

L - we were at a farm open day and they had lovely homemade burgers, I had mine without the bun obviously!

D - not made it yet but going to have salmon and salads

S - I'm going to have a g&t and I've had a couple of strawberries and a few chunks of cheese

MaryThorne · 05/06/2016 20:14

Thanks WanHeda!

stillovingmysleep here's a recipe for swede wedges: www.dietdoctor.com/recipes/oven-baked-rutabaga-wedges
(Americans seem to call them rutabagas!)

stilllovingmysleep · 05/06/2016 20:31

Thanks Mary! Never knew rutabaga was the same thing as swede!!

bettyblueeyes83 · 05/06/2016 20:42

Had a massive breakfast and then after being really full all day and travelling I was starving so have eaten a lot in the past couple of hours, especially using up veg and dairy before shop arrives tomorrow am. But all protein, fat, or veg, so I hope it's OK. And I survived a weekend at my mum's so I'm really pleased about that. She's just wondering when I'm stopping this WOE as she's worried it's bad for me, esp the saturated fat...I did my best to explain.

B: scrambled eggs with cream and cheese, bacon, two creamy coffees, one slice cheddar
L: nothing, then grabbed a Leon chargrilled chicken pot with aioli on way back through King's Cross at 5pm (didn't seem to touch the sides)
D: real meal revolution 'bangers' (black farmer sausage in homemade tomato Rosemary sauce) with swede mash and cauliflower-leek gratin. Used up various packets of Creme fraiche and shredded cheese and added dollops of cream, butter, cream cheese and Parmesan for good measure! Think I went a bit overboard here as was ravenous. Too full now!

Too much cheese and processed meat today. And then too many carbs in veg in the evening. Next week going to try and ensure I get fibre from leafy green veg every day and cut back on meat, especially processed meat.

BursarsFrogs · 05/06/2016 20:54

Thanks stilllovingmysleep and wan :)

I just cut the swede into thick chip shapes, drizzled on some olive oil and salt pepper, and chucked them into the oven about half way through cooking a medium chicken. They came out lovely and sweet.

Veryflummoxed · 05/06/2016 21:59

A busy day today, not much time to think about food. Also got through the morning and realised I'd had no water so that was a bit down today. In the park this afternoon with a group of people who were eating chip type cafe food and ice cream. It didn't bother me at all. I had taken some cream with with me and put it in my black coffee.

Lunch celery and some tuna mayo and Ff yogurt
Snack coffee with cream
Dinner. Beef burger with melted tasty cheddar. A (huge) green leaf and cucumber salad generously dressed with oil and vinegar, five cherry toms and mayo. (Which I really enjoyed)

Veryflummoxed · 05/06/2016 22:00

Bursar you'd food for today looks lovely.

Veryflummoxed · 05/06/2016 22:03

WanHeda i've been looking through your recent recipe posts. Lots of lovely ideas. The meatzza looks way better than pizza.
