Morning all. Sorry for the later than usual thread, but I'm away at the moment/1

Anyway, here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

As we've now completed the first two, more strict, weeks of Bootcamp you have a choice. You can move on to Bootcamp Light, (rules are on the spreadsheet tabs), which essentially means you can add in a few nuts/seeds, and some fruit (berries, and strictly in moderation), and you can have alcohol occasionally.

However, if you haven't really done Bootcamp strictly enough, or you cheated, or just because you think it's going well, you can stay on Bootcamp. (If you do, though, please make sure your carbs are mainly coming from vegetables and salad, to make sure that you're getting a good balance of nutrition)

Alternatively, you can do Bootcamp during the week but Bootcamp Light at the weekend. The choice is yours.

However, there is one thing I have to warn you about. Weeks 3 and 4 are notorious for little or no weight loss. If this happens to you, please don't panic! Just keep on keeping on and things will start to move again.

After initial big losses in the first couple of weeks, you can't feasibly expect to see that continue, and you should that weight loss settles down at around 1-3lbs a week, depending on how much you have to lose.

Good luck all! Flowers

Still on holiday here, very difficult with carb obsessed relatives - struggling with low carb options - dinner out last night was awful - steak and mixed frozen veg - grim....will hopefully find something better today.

NotdeadyetBOING · 02/06/2016 07:31

GCalg - thank you v. much for your food tips and sorry about your father. Mine died late last year so I know how you are feeling Flowers.

So - had a total LC fail this morning. Was all ready to grapple with the famous BPC - but it went v. wrong. Firstly, my blender shattered (maybe the shock of hot contents?) - sending butter, oil and God knows what else all over the kitchen. Nice. I managed to rescue a small amount and tried to drink it, but found it really so rich it turned my stomach. I think coffee with single cream is as rich as I can go….. So back to that with FF Greek yog. Not zero carb, but where I feel more comfortable!

Good luck to everyone struggling with stress and/or tricky situation with relatives and food options!

Titsalinabumsquash · 02/06/2016 07:55

Can I ask if UHT cream is allowed, thinking about the hospital, they won't have cream but if I can get some of those little cafe pots of UHT cream from makro I could order it black and add it in, I don't think I can do 2 weeks without coffee!!

restinglawyer · 02/06/2016 08:04

My DS's birthday yesterday, and had a slice of a lovely chocolate cake my DD had made for him. Really enjoyed it, and at least the ganache icing was just 85% chocolate/cream Smile. Back on the wagon today, and wanted to say that I am finding it much easier to get through the water by putting it in a vacuum jug with ice, lemon, cucumber and a few mint leaves. I just keep topping up the water and the ice and it stays cold and delicious all day. No doubt I will need a change of flavour again in a few days, but for now it tastes great.

ClopySow · 02/06/2016 08:05

I think uht has sugar and is very processed so is discouraged.

I'm now coping quite well with black coffee and tea. It took a bit to get used to it though.

ClopySow · 02/06/2016 08:08

My bra is too big for me today. It's the bit under my boobs thats disappearing.

In the last 5 or 6 years, i've only found one type of bra that fits me really well. At £35 a pop i'm inclined to wear a too big bra for now.

restinglawyer · 02/06/2016 08:08

Also sending Notdeadly sympathy for the shattered blender and mess! That's the sort of thing that makes me want to break out the chocolate digestives immediately - I salute your fortitude!

ReggaeShark · 02/06/2016 08:11

Just check the nutrition info on the UHT. Coffee creamer pots have added stuff like sugar but the cream usually doesn't. They are often single cream, though, which has more carbs.

regularbutpanickingabit · 02/06/2016 08:31

Morning! Sounds like some interesting times going on, sorry to hear that.
I felt awful last night and have a rotten cold. Am working somewhere new today and have no idea what food will be on offer nearby but I just couldn't get up to make two meals.
I have a pot of last nights roasted veg and feta to eat at some point. Need coffee.
Kids want sausages and pasta tonight so I will just have the sausages and sauce in spinach salad with mozzarella and Parmesan.

regularbutpanickingabit · 02/06/2016 08:32

Oh, forgot the best bit! I can do up my work trousers for the first time since having the baby. Whoop!!

Kummerspeck · 02/06/2016 08:34

I wrote a big post last night but computer seized up so it has been lost. I'm still finding myself starving at times but am wondering if I just need to wait a while to let my body get used to this and to see any patterns in case it is psychological

Ate well yesterday but then added a pack of salted macadamia nuts in the evening which was not ideal although it could have been worse

Kummerspeck · 02/06/2016 08:44

By the way, we have pseudo-noodles and the rice equivalent regularly as our local Morrisons sells BareNaked noodles and rice. Never had any problems at all so these problems obviously don't affect everyone

GirlsonFilm · 02/06/2016 08:57

Totally fell of the diet this week - but back on track today (and whilst I haven't lost any I haven't put any one either)

regularbutpanickingabit · 02/06/2016 08:58

Ooh, Euston station has a Camden food co that has all sorts of little protein pits including 2x boiled eggs and spinach. That's brekkie sorted!

Pisseslikeahorse · 02/06/2016 09:01

I didn't touché the toblerone. Smile

SingToMeInFrench · 02/06/2016 09:29

Checking in. I need a big whack, I'm not sure what is wrong with me. Yesterday I munched on popcorn without even thinking- I'm the queen of self sabotage. I want to be a healthy weight, I know what I've got to do- why can't I just believe that I can do it? Sad

AuntieMaggie · 02/06/2016 09:30

I'm a pound up this morning Angry no idea why as I haven't cheated despite going to a play cafe yesterday where they sell lovely cake! The only thing I can think of is the gammon joint last night for dinner...

Feeling a bit frustrated as my friend has lost more weight in less time on slimming world. I don't want to do slimming world as this woe is healthier and I enjoy it but I have a lot of weight still to lose and I'm struggling.

Yesterday's food
Bfast scrambled egg spinach and bacon
Lunch prawn avocado mayo salad leaves cucumber
Dinner gammon brocolli cauli cheese sauce

ChesterDrawers · 02/06/2016 09:33

Struggling here and in need of advice, a moan, a whack with The Stick...

Found out on day two of BC I am at risk of redundancy, my job no longer exists and I have to compete with colleagues for remaining roles. Since them I have struggled to stay on the wagon and even when I do the scales won't budge (stress, lack of sleep maybe).

I've thought for a long time dairy does me no favours but I really find it difficult to make the diet sustainable without it, too diet-y, and then end up falling off the wagon again. I only want to lose a stone and a half but feel like it's never going to happen.

Euuugghh, not sure why I am posting this as I know what I have to do, I'd just like someone to tell me HOW Sad Or failing that, lock me away in a room for two months and supply all my food and drink and make me exercise every day!

lisbapalea · 02/06/2016 09:49

Finally updated the spreadsheet. Did a sneaky weigh in this morning and I haven't lost a bean since Monday despite sticking to the plan.

I do know I haven't been drinking enuogh though - I blame the lack of routine that being off work for half term has caused! When I am at my desk at work I plough through several large bottles of water but when at home I just don't seem to go through as much.

Not sure what food will be but the fridge is full of good stuff so it should be OK.

KOKO everyone.... (saying that to myself as much as anyone else - the plateauing bit can be really demotivating but I am really trying to stay strong!!)

CathemeralChild · 02/06/2016 09:56

I have the radio on. Every time I hear the adverts, I drink a glass of water.
At least that's how I started; now I'm in the habit and am drinking up to 4 litres a day. I'm peeing normally again too as opposed to every 20 mins.

CathemeralChild · 02/06/2016 10:00

Right. Off to fry an avocado for breakfast #2 and then wipe the sodding hob down again.
I'll be looking for a splatter guard later in town. oversized village so wish me luck with that

Titsalinabumsquash · 02/06/2016 10:05

I line up 5 X 500ml bottle in my kitchen and I drink one every time I go into the kitchen - breakfast/lunch/dinner/load dish washer/put kettle on etc.

I fill a bottle and put it in my bag as I leave the house for when I'm out or at work.

I also leave a few full bottles in rooms around the house so I see them and drink them as I'm pottering about, I always drink about 4ltrs a day this way.

reader77 · 02/06/2016 10:35

Titsalina I've got a 2 litre bottle that I refill once.

I have to measure too or I don't get enough.
