Sorry all - first day back at work and I had a horribly early start, so this is the first chance I've had to set this thread up. Blush

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

regenerist do you mean to say that you're not drinking your quota of water?

It's really important that you do.

Thanks for those having tough times.

Today I was rushing about and haven't been shopping so fridge is quite depleted.

B#1 (pre school run!) Creamy coffee
B #2 (post school run) 2 buttery scrambled eggs)

L missed it so ravenous about 2.30 snacked on cheddar & cucumber

About 5pm more snacking on cheddar, cucumber, real mayo, chorizo & natural yog

D: concoction of mushroom, chorizo, spring onion, green pepper & bit of tinned tomatoes. Topped with grated cheddar.

I'm guessing there was way too much cheese here and not good that no meat other than chorizo.

Not enough water today, WILL do better tomorrow!

CalmYoBadSelf · 03/11/2015 21:16

I'm feeling very virtuous as I have prepared turkey cutlets in a creamy sauce ready for tea tomorrow as I will be late in from work and ravenous so prone to snacking. I am also defrosting chicken ready for the slow cooker on Thursday. I've even made some vegetable soup although I'm wondering if it is a bit too carrot-y for low carb so I might make some leek soup too. Now, where's my halo Grin

Hyggeligt · 03/11/2015 21:23

Thank you all for your kindness
chester size 12 Smile, that must feel really good, congrats.
Stayed on track today, was going to do BC but had 2 squares of dark chocolate after dinner. It is really motivating to hear of everyone's successes!

Hyggeligt · 03/11/2015 21:26

....may I ask if no-added-sugar squash is ok, or if it's a no no?
(Apologies if that's been asked hundreds of time before. I kicked my Diet Coke habit before BC started (never again-worst headaches ever!) but really fancy squash...

ApplySomePressure · 03/11/2015 21:38

I've also had a difficult beginning with things out of my control but started Sunday. I've also squeezed in the gym and seeing a pt today and I'm hoping they don't moan about my food choices:) I don't have time frankly, I'm time and cash poor:)

I feel very tired which I'm hoping will go soon and I like weighing myself as it keeps me motivated. I'm waiting for the whoosh. When will I get the whoosh?:)

ChesterDrawers · 04/11/2015 10:45

Got dentist at lunch today for a filling so not sure what food will be like later...plan is:

B: avocado, parma ham, lots of HM mayo
L: Probs not a lot, but will have a BPC if needs be
D: Got sausages out so will have them with swede mash, roast broccoli and asparagus assuming am ok to eat.

Should really eat before dentist but have horrible phobia so doubt I will be able to manage.

LexLoofah · 04/11/2015 11:44

chester hope dentists is OK for you, poor thing you are in the wars

regen will post the LC cracker bread on the recipe thread, hope it is OK to do straight from the book if I quote the source ?? Discovered yesterday that it can be toasted and soaks up way more butter that way - that will feature in my lunch today for sure.

just had a lovely earl grey latte, the recipe I found calls it a London Fog (?) basically brewed earl grey, splash of vanilla essence, quarter cup almond milk, 1.5 tbl sp coconut oil blitzed up in a blender. Was really creamy and yummy, I sprinkled cinnamon on top. Have been drinking earl grey and almond milk instead of tea for a while but this was better and great way to add a bit of fat. Yum

BIWI · 04/11/2015 11:56

Lex perfectly OK to copy the recipe out as long as you quote the author and the book title. (And assuming it's not a book you've written/are promoting Wink)

Hi All. Sorry, I've been awol recently. Still KOKO with the LCing, apart from a Halloween sweet disaster Blush on Saturday. Didn't weigh on Monday as I knew the after effects would still be present. Was very BC lite last week as I was off work and running around DH on his crutches (literally).
Back at work as of Monday and have been really busy at work, running around at home, then flopping in a corner. Been doing BC proper though.
Sorry for everyone having a tough time Thanks
So, my menu for today is:
B - Hb egg and avocado
L - tuna mayo with capers and salad, FF yoghurt
D - out at book club and I believe a meat curry is being made, so shall partake but avoid any rice/ naan etc.
I have now not had an alcoholic drink since September! Have children's parties galore at the weekend, so may not last much longer. Grin
Also, cake may feature tomorrow as DS3 is going to be 7.

ApplySomePressure · 04/11/2015 16:46

Forgot how much I love LCing

B:pork belly strip, cooked in butter. Creamy coffee
L:chicken breast, Brussels (hardly any fat, but it was all the LC the school canteen had!)
D: lamb chop, leeks and courgettes fried in butter

Wombatinabathhat · 04/11/2015 17:13

B: Scrambled eggs with butter and cream
L: Pork curry with courgette
D: Spicy chicken thighs with mayo
S: couple of spoons of FF Yoghurt and coffee with cream

LexLoofah · 04/11/2015 18:01

Ok thanks BIWI

B - smoked salmon, buttery scr eggs, avocado, leftover mustard creme fraiche sauce warmed up- breakfast for for a queen!
L - lc crackerbread, butter, pate, spinach in hm pesto dressing, dill pickle, aforementioned earl grey latte x 2
D- my own invention, turned out quite well: creamy, tomato & cheese beef mince & cabbage casserole - sounds awful but was incredibly delicious plus green beans with butter

Possibly sq dark choc later, depends how stressed I am after homework time ...

regenerationfez · 04/11/2015 18:03

B: egg and mushroom muffins and 2 cups of coffee
L: fried halloumi and an avocado. Can we have lemon or does that count as fruit?
D: sausages were 3.5g carb per 100g so not massively low but not massively high (I hope!!!)
s: Mackerel fillet.
About 2.5 litres of water and 2 coffee and a tea.
I've been ravenous in the evening for the past 2 days so have had to have an evening snack a couple of hours after dinner. I've had salami or cheese or olives but I didn't think I'd be this hungry!

regenerationfez · 04/11/2015 18:04

thanks lex

EwanHoozami · 04/11/2015 18:13

Lex what brand of dill pickle do you have? I've been looking for one that doesn't have a load of sugar in with the vinegar. Salt beef and dill pickle. MMMMMmmmmm.

EwanHoozami · 04/11/2015 18:17

B - fried eggs and ham
L - avocado and wensleydale, green salad
D - Heck sausages, mashed swede and buttered leeks.

S - I must confess, I wasn't able to walk by the peanut butter jar today Blush It is like crack to me and I can't banish it from the house because DH makes breakfast smoothies with it. At least it was Tesco Value which is the lowest carb one.

readyforno2 · 04/11/2015 18:29
