Morning all my lovely campers!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and don't forget the Weight Tracker if you prefer to keep things private.

Hopefully the dreaded weeks 3 and 4 are well behind us, and we can now get on with the process of shedding more fat Grin

Here's to another good week, and I hope that the scales were kind to you this morning

I would say that if you have shifted that much in clothe sizes to stick with it Shock well done! Remember if you are doing a lot of exercise that in volume muscle weighs more than fat. So it might be your body is replacing fat for muscle hence the lack of change on the scales but the shift in dress sizes.

Sorry having a few problems with the computer. Didn't mean to double post that Blush

Hi everyone,
Good day so far today. 2 eggs in a cup with butter for breakfast. Lunch was 2 black farmer sausages, with swede mash and green beans. More excitingly both kids had the same and really enjoyed it - I am going to try really hard to get them to cut their carbs at home (there 's no chance of it ever happening at school so it would be good to at least limit the rest of the time).

Dinner will either be fish pie with broccoli mash on the top or pork belly with green veg, depending on what time DH is home and whether or not we eat with the kids.

Quick question for long term LC-ers. Can you eat potatoes when maintaining? I think I can live without bread, pasta etc, but not potatoes!

Gcalgske · 20/02/2015 13:49

Nipped into sainsbos in the gap between hospital and physio and found myself hungry. Purchased and daintily nibbled on ripped bits off with my hands a roast gammon joint from the deli. Some carbs in the glaze but better than I could have picked.

imustbepatient · 20/02/2015 14:26

Quickly checking in for today

B: 2 x bacon and 2 x eggs with hm mayo
L: hm guacamole with salami 'crisps'
D: will be slow roast pork belly with buttered leeks and mushrooms, I will do some roast new potatoes for DH. Think I will treat myself to a glass of v nice dry white wine too.

I'm doing well on the water front, up to 2.25 litres so far and want to get to 4 by the end of the day.

I agree with blueberry this thread is so motivational and supportive, thank you everyone.

MrsKoala · 20/02/2015 14:35

notso I always have tandoori chicken (usually comes with a bit of salad) and either a side of aubergine or cauli bhaji (altho my last indian filled the cauli bhaji with bloody spuds and only had 2 florets of cauli Angry ).

I sometimes make cauli rice to do at home when the food arrives (not if i am having cauli bhaji tho).

ChesterDrawers · 20/02/2015 14:51

Still feeling shitty but am forcing myself to eat, not much but more than the last few days.

B: 1 boiled egg mashed with a big chunk of butter, BPC
L: cup of Bovril
D: Hoping to make a cottage pie topped with celeriac, swede and cauli mash

Was 11st 0.2 this morning, so getting closer to the ever elusive 10s. I know it's not ideal, sustainable or even a true weight, but it did cheer me up a little bit, I have to say.

postmanpatscat · 20/02/2015 14:55

Is it too late to join? I'm low carbing until Easter (taking it a bit further than giving up sugar for Lent). I run 3x/week (5-8 miles) and I'm a healthy weight but want to make better food choices. I'm also intrigued and inspired by the film Cereal Killers, has anyone else seen it?

cymrukernow · 20/02/2015 15:27

Im not posting much but still here! This week I feel like I'm in the LC groove and have not been craving sweetness - there's even been a bar of 80% choice in the house for 3 DAYS and I haven't had any yet ( this is a personal record). Survived a meal with the inlaws as I cooked for them - chicken breast with green beans - I did wedges for them and the kids, I had salad, everyone happy, no one commented on what I was eating, as I can feel a bit self conscious eating different foods.
Thanks BIWI for your encouraging posts as some days I also feel like eating something I shouldn't but reading your advice brings me back down to reality!

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 20/02/2015 16:05

I was out at lunch, bought a pot of olives and feta in oil, and some chicken - dipped the chicken in the oil :)

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 20/02/2015 16:07

Dinner will be salmon with roast broccoli, babycorn, shallot and half a carrot

BerylStreep · 20/02/2015 16:48

postmanpatscat welcome - I only started last Monday.

I haven't seen Cereal Killers - is it on iplayer?

galbraith · 20/02/2015 16:50

postmanpat What's Cereal Killers - I shall have a Google now! I like to watch/read anything that'll encourage me to keep on this WOE

Gcalgske · 20/02/2015 17:03

Try butter makes your pants fall off - its on youtube. Sorry dont know how to link

Fatstacks · 20/02/2015 17:46

Now I don't want you all getting jealous but MrStacks is taking me out tomorrow.

To the rhubarb festival in Wakefield.
we live life on the edge

Am I asking for trouble if I bring a bundle back? Does such a treat as a low carb rhubarb recipe exist?

I think I can hold off going face first into Brian Turners crumble but doubt my resolve will hold if im alone at home with the rhubarb and no recipe Confused

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 20/02/2015 18:11

Rhubarb is the lowest carb fruit there is, isnt it? If you can stomach it without sugar Grin

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 20/02/2015 18:20

Snack - pork scratchings, liquorice tea.

Will prob take a piece of chocolate up to bed too. Feeling extra shit at the mo, more than my usual. No particular reason. One piece of 85% is better than a 200g of dairy mik and a bottle of wine though :)

lurkingmurking · 20/02/2015 18:45

Not so if have tandoori mixed grill and sag paneer - yum!!

Out all day today with kids which meant hardly any water but I am downing now! Also missed lunch so ended up with loads of eggs!

B: 3 eggs scrambled with butter, BPC
Late lunch: 2 fried eggs, portobello mushroom BPC
Dinner : lamb burgers with halloumi. Also going to attempt celeriac chips

prettybird · 20/02/2015 18:59

Had a good day - didn't snack as much as I have been and plenty of water. Smile

Making low carb chicken nuggets for supper and will be opening our Friday night bottle of Cava : egged and then coated in a seasoned mix of Parmesan, flaxseed and found almonds.

prettybird · 20/02/2015 19:02

Found = ground Blush

StuntNun · 20/02/2015 19:26

Random at maintenance I add in potatoes occasionally, either the odd roastie or sometimes a sneaky portion of chips split with my DH who also eats low carb. I would also include sweet potato, small portions of white rice and the less carby fruits such as apples. It's a fine line with maintenance as too much carbs can trigger cravings so I tend to stick to Bootcamp Light with the above extras but have the occasional carb refeed.
