Morning all!

Hope all who are ailing are swiftly recovered.

And hope all of those who have fallen off the wagon can climb back on with agility and aplomb.

We still have three weeks left, so a chance to get shot of another few of those pesky pounds.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and here is the link to the Weight Tracker

Good luck everyone Flowers

pseudo my breast fed ds started waking up more about that age and I wasn't doing any particular kind of diet. He went to every hour for three weeks! I just started giving him solids but that's a whole other thread... Grin

MrsHughJarse · 27/02/2014 12:34

heir... i too have frightened myself with it ( but also have seen why I am overweight !)
I am shocked ++ by the calories in those macadamia nuts that I had my famous mad binge on a few weeks ago Shock one 200g bag was about 1500cals , so in the space of half an hour I ate about 3000cals on two bags of nuts......... never again...... its the crack of the nut world - although I presume you lose weight on actual real crack....... !

The good news is the pie chart ( I am guessingeva may like a a good statistical pie chart ?! x ) - mine for yesterday was :

73% fat
24% Protein and
3% carbs.
1511 cals - although had to estimate how much oil in my generous pour over my spinach and feta salad for supper.

Beat that whooshfuckerfairy.....

MN seems to be giving me permission to swear Grin

ChesterDrawers · 27/02/2014 12:46

Loving Whooshfuckerfairy Grin, should be your new NN Hugh

Just popping on to report that I am still in tact despite the raging tired and a meeting with all manner of delicious smelling pastries right under my nose.

Funny picnic lunch today - whole pack of M&S crispy bacon strips, 2 x individually wrapped chunks of cheese and a pot of olive and manchego I am currently munching my way through. Bit dairy/processed heavy but all I can muster given the circumstances.

I also bought two mini bottles of wine and a 100g bar of 85% chocolate in a moment of madness but I am going to see how I feel later as to whether I have a little treat.

In meetings most of the afternoon so should be OK then, but home alone with the tiny terror tonight might test my resolve!

Thumbwitch · 27/02/2014 12:58

Not going to mention the goingouttodinnerforMIL'sbirthdaytotalfuckingfail

I was very pleased this morning - down to 11st10 - hurrah! And then I read about "goal weights" and thought about it. My immediate goal is to get below 11st before I get to the UK in early April - 5 weeks, in other words. I was thinking I'd never manage it but THEN realised that actually, yes I should be able to do 2lb a week until then!

Thenruineditallbygoingoutandhavingrisottoandpudding. Andaglassofalcohol :(

So tomorrow I will be back on, not quite strict bootcamp (still needing a touch of fruit) but as near as I can get. I need to do this for myself.

heliumheart · 27/02/2014 14:04

Just a quick check in, feeling a bit low. Keeping to it all although not feeling particularly inspired and ended up drinking wine last two nights which is NOT on the plan!

Lighthousekeeping · 27/02/2014 15:37

I've kept away for the past week. Went out last night and had a bottle of wine! No excuse for it except it was happy hour. Tonight my friend wants Chinese. Does anyone know how bad bean sprouts are? I was thinking of broccoli in garlic sauce and a chicken dish. I'm not missing rice or noodles at all. Or Chinese chips.

BIWI · 27/02/2014 17:32

I think bean sprouts are fine - although the carb count per 100g is relatively high, they are not a dense veg at all, so you get a lot 'for your money' as it were.

Step away from the noodles and the chips!

I keep looking in but not posting as I have nothing really to say. I've been good this week but was very bad on Sun/Mon so am not anticipating anything this week.

Hope everyone who has had challenges this week is ok. Trashy, you and your DS have been on my mind, hope things are getting better

WhooshFuckerFairy · 27/02/2014 18:39

chester - good idea. Name change

Mrs Hugh Jarse is no more....... it is a bit smaller

I do so hope I haven't angered the Gods of the Whoosh fairy.

(Parents evening for DD1 tonight....... stressful..... have to go with exDH for a start.... and I have a feeling DD1's new found social life is affecting the state of play)

Just a quick check in and hello to everyone, the light nights mean psychopup gets a proper walk and I end up gabbing while she has a play.

2nd day of ubercamp and I was 3lb heavier this morning where's the wtf smiley my waist is getting smaller but my tits look like they've been siliconed - they now stand up by themselves which is pretty impressive for FFs DH likes them very much I reckon each one must be holding 2lb of water, I'll be able to tuck my nips into my knicks if when the whoosh fairy stops by Grin Sorry if I've put anyone off their dinner!

LittleMissDisorganized · 27/02/2014 19:05

helium hugs to you, lovely lady, hope you are hanging in there after the DTs are in bed. Can you find a project for yourself, drawing, creating, making.... anything to stop the wine you don't want and the thoughts that chase round in circles.

and trashcan I really hope you are looking after yourself... and that dealing with your mum and son is not too painful. Thinking of you too.

I am shattered tonight but I have forced myself through a normal day which is good. I made leek and cauliflower cottage pie and it was really greasy, quite sickly. Oh well, got to keep trying things out I guess. It comes in at about £1 a portion so once I get it right it's a good weekly staple.

googoogoggles · 27/02/2014 19:31

actually, maybe not slinking. More galumphing

captainmummy · 27/02/2014 19:36

Hogwash - No to hot chocolate! Way too many carbs.

you need to go into ketosis, which means you are burning fat for fuel. This is done by reducing the carbs (which would normally be burned for instant fuel) so that the body has to burn fat. Bootcamp normally starts with 2 week induction, which is strict in reducing carbs, no alcohol, no fruit, no sweet stuff, and it is designed to break your addiction to sweet stuff. The following phase is bootcamp lite, which means you can have a few berries, some alcohol at weekends etc.
have you read the rules? check the spreadsheeet.

QueenofallIsee · 27/02/2014 19:41

just fell into 2 choc chip cookies and an handful of jelly babies...bastard sugar cravings! I should know better by now

ChesterDrawers · 27/02/2014 19:41

Ha ha Whoosh, love it! Just make sure you stop by my house sometime, eh? Any time after breakfast on Sunday would be fab Grin but I'm usually around whenever you have a slot.

Have just had the most amazing tea in the world ever. I fried two chopped rashers of bacon in butter with mushrooms and courgetti. The I heated a sploosh of cream, goats cheese and homemade pesto into a lovely melty sauce, combined the tw, ground pepper, Parmesan - done! Now having a leetle bit of v dark choc and a glass of red and feeling all warm and happy inside.

Too much dairy, too much processed stuff, alcohol and choc so not perfect by any means. BUT a normal sleep deprived day would have meant carbs, carbs and more carbs so I am putting this down as a win Smile

Sorry, total SMS post, can't cope with reading back too far, but Flowers to everyone, struggling or not, you're all brill.

monkeyfacegrace · 27/02/2014 19:43

Mayday, mayday!
dH is away overnight for work and Im dying for red wine to go with my huge cheese board.
Save me somebody!

monkeyfacegrace · 27/02/2014 19:45

P.s, explain again whats wrong with dairy?
Im eating butter, cheese and cream like its going out of fashion Confused

captainmummy · 27/02/2014 19:49

Butter is fine, monkey - it's almost pure fat. The problem with dairy (yog, cream, cheese etc) is that it makes some people stall. Me included.

BUT - breakfaast today was yog. Lunch was cheese, lettuce and soup. Dinner - sausages with kale/creamcheese mix. 2 coffees with cream...
so the non-dairy is going really well. Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 27/02/2014 19:55
Grin

Well it doesnt seem to be hindering weight loss. Ive done really well so far.

So on that note, Im back off to the fridge for more cheese, and I think I will have that glass of red. Purely medicinal though, its good for the heart Wink

heliumheart · 27/02/2014 20:38

Thanks LittleMiss. Today was One Of Those Days where I start with a 'worst case scenario' outcome and extrapolate about fifty steps down the line from there, causing myself an enormous amount of unnecessary stress Hmm

My eating has largely been fine, although for some odd reason I found myself stuffing a few mouthfuls of leftover rice from the children's tea into my mouth - I've resisted this loads of times recently, even making them lemon and honey pancakes for breakfast yesterday and resisting ALL temptation previously unheard of, so I don't know why I indulged in that little bit of self-sabotage.

StuntNun · 27/02/2014 20:44

I have Crabby's berry crumble in the oven right now. I can't wait to try it. Grin

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 27/02/2014 21:34

Mmmm berry crumble! I've yet to make it but it might be coming soon. I'm just putting off doing the internet shop at the moment so I could order some berries.

SMS: I am truly knackered - yesterday's crazy burst of energy has left me obsessing about pyjama drawcords (!!!) but knackered. So I've had a long bath with a G and T and a book and I'm ignoring the jobs screaming to be done...

B: aubergine and red pepper muffins. BPC
L Sardine salad. Not enough!
S; BPC, 2 square chocolate
D: swede, fish and chorizo hash thingy. Not bad really and added rice for everyone else. Another two squares of chocolate and a G and slimline T.

Hope everyone has had a positive day; [waves]

HeirToTheIronThrone · 27/02/2014 22:06

Random concoction for dinner, fried up courgette, garlic, red onion, spinach and prawns with a tin of tomatoes and smoked paprika - sort of Spanishy stew I guess. Good in a big bowl with Parmesan on top!

In other news... I have been offered the job! They rang me 20 mins after I got home from the second interview so must have done something right!

Have 8 week's notice to work so hopefully can start my new role much slinkier than I am now :)

ElBombero · 27/02/2014 22:09

Please stop me from going getting chocolate raisins. I don't even like them much.

I.NEED.SUGAR. ConfusedConfusedConfused

It's consuming me.
