LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 27/12/2009 20:32

Mind you ASBM - I'd rather wash it myself really.

thesouthsbelle · 27/12/2009 20:36

true enough least then you know it will be done right. lol.

well just been in/out the bath, missed call from gymboy/he didn't pick up so missed again not to worry. am feeling slightly smug at the fact the house is tidy everything's away & all that's needed tomorrow is the vac puished around - even the washing/packing away is up to date. lol. now do I veg in front of the telly & watch the sky, or do I move the wii into the bedroom & play it in there (far too much effort I think) or make do with whatever is on the freeview box and get into bed.... hmm.....

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 27/12/2009 20:49

here's my main pressie

What do you think? I might take it back. I wasn't sure about it, I liked it a bit (and wore it to church lol) but looking at it on line has really put me off.

thesouthsbelle · 27/12/2009 20:54

I really like that dusty - would deffo wear it - althou can you take the flour bit off? either way think it's lovely.

Janos · 27/12/2009 20:58

Hello you lot, just back in the wilds of Scotland after Xmas at my mums.

How was everyone's Christmas> Hope plenty of relaxing done, along with nice pressies and plnety wine drunk.

BTW...For those of you who have me on FB check out the snow pics. It's still that bad...no kidding. Had to fight my way through it to get back.

lou33 · 27/12/2009 21:01

i was with him out shopping and passed a shoe shop , saw them, said they were nice and he hauled me in and bought them there and then

lou33 · 27/12/2009 21:02

hello janos

thesouthsbelle · 27/12/2009 21:04

hey janos.

do we think jeans would go with this or on it's own?

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 27/12/2009 21:04

i like that too monty. looks super cosyand i bet its flattering... no marshmallows in sight with that winter coat

aseriouslyblondemoment · 27/12/2009 21:12

belle boots only with that i think
monty that looks just the job for a winter wedding esp.as it has corsage attached...just think of the money that'll save juicy...

OP posts:
Janos · 27/12/2009 21:15

Monty I like your coat too.
Very smart

Belle, that looks fab and I think would look great either with jeans and smart boots or leggings/skinny jeans and knee length boots (depending on length).

Janos · 27/12/2009 21:18

Now there are lots of January birthdays on here aren't there? Am I right? Who's birthday is coming up?

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 27/12/2009 21:19

Thanks Belle - and tunic with woolly tights and boots would be good, it's nice.

ASBM - lol but do you like it??

I def didn't like it with what that model was wearing, that's not me, plus I'm only 5.3.

Juice - thanks

We have done a S&B thread on here lol.

Hi Janos, will have a look at pics later. How did it go?

thesouthsbelle · 27/12/2009 21:26

question girls - skinny jeans, do you wear boots on the outside of them or inside?

S&B threads are good.

ooh lots of jan b'days? i'm march so a pisces (prob explains a lot! lol)

christmaseve · 27/12/2009 21:26

Nice coat and boots. I'm going to go shopping one day this week.

Not feeling any better. Think the stomach problems were a reaction to other tablets so have stopped taking them. Juicy I sympathise with Irish, not pleasant.

Lou, gosh it is moving very fast. How did he split from his wife, has she met anyone else? Sounds like it must have been mutual for them to be so amicable.

I haven't heard anything from either of the guys I liked so going to forget it now. I'm so unlucky with the fellas.

Reckon I'm going to be stuck at home over new year, couple of mates are going out but not sure I want to go with them. Friend is coming to stay after new year and there is a party going on the weekend after so will be a good thing as I will make an effort to go out with her. Feeling like an old recluse atm.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 27/12/2009 21:36

monty would need to see it on you as m&s never seem to do their stuff justice online so difficult to give an opinion iyswim?
and i'm the first of the capricorns on here tis my birthday within a couple of days{cloak and dagger emoticon}

OP posts:
DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 27/12/2009 21:44

my birthday is just over a week away.

... get a grip you lot... we're not even going out so how can we get married.

[juicy imagines charming fella swooping down on one knee to ask for hand in marriage to a preplanned wedding where all i have to do is turn up as already organised, planned and prepared]

ROFL - ....

so... whoever gets married first... i think we should have invites to the reception at least.

belle - for that tunic i would go for some really chunky tights. not black though... brown/aubergine or possibly charcoal.. and chunky boots. again... best if brown.

and for skinny jeans... if you have perfect pins then sky scraper heels of those ankle booty things... if you have some muscle to your thighs then you need a big pair of chunky boots to balance out the legs

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 27/12/2009 21:48

janos - its really ridiculous the snow up here isn't it.. and the crazy thing is it has lasted so long we have all got used to it in my scheme... every morning we all see each other clearing another inch minimum from drives.. bunging it on the pile of snow at the side of our drives that just seems to get bigger and bigger... it never disappears any at all overnight or thru the day when suns out.

everyone has given up being saying they're "snowed in"... as we're all too bored and run out of food. so just sludge along thru it like we're from sweeden and used to it. lol

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 27/12/2009 21:58

Janos - Thanks! at snow.

Wee Monkey is goooorgeous!

Juice - pmsl you are in denial lady.

Belle - skinny jeans with boots inside, think ok on really long legs. Coloured wooly tights sounds nice.

I do them inside with chunky boots myself.

Eve - I'm thinking of hitting the shops too.

Janos · 27/12/2009 22:00

belle - skinny jeans, Boots on the outside.

monty - have added you on FB. Looks snowy where you are too! Christmas was very relaxing but missed DS a LOT.

juicy - you aren't kidding. Mind you Newcastle is not much better, like a bloody ice rink.

eve - sorry to hear you are still feeling poorly. How was Christmas?

Lou - right back atcha

I love, love, love my chunky bovver boots! Live in them. Damn, I'd sleep in them but you know it would make a mess of the bed. I'm small and curvy (bootilicious says my sister) but have reasonably good legs.

As we are talking birthdays I'm an August b'day so a Leo..and I have the hair for it

Janos · 27/12/2009 22:07

Oh thank you monty

I agree but am biased of course!

christmaseve · 27/12/2009 22:08

I'm end of July so Leo too.

We still have snowed up, slippery pavements and a few people not able to move cars but I'm OK.

Started watching the holiday but no time for this cliqued romantic garbage, so given up.

Christmas was not great but OK this year, mainly due to being ill. I wasn't laid up ill just drained.

Janos · 27/12/2009 22:18

I know that drained feeling eve. I had it just before Christmas...I missed DS a lot but was very lucky in having time to relax. When you don't have that time and you're not feeling 100% it leaves you feeling really wiped out doesn't it.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 27/12/2009 22:39

aargh just recovering from laptop crashing big time!
janos and eve neither of you seem like leos iyswim
i actively avoid leo men tho{shudder emoticon}
do you all remember when ninah did her russell grant thing on here?
must give her a nudge and see how she is
