actor - oh right, yes that explains a lot lol.

christmaseve · 22/12/2009 23:54

Gosh been busy on here tonight and hats off to the ones that can do a run down. I don't manage it very often as I lose track.

Janos you haven't posted for a while so forgive me forgetting CM. Easily done.

Also some of you have been busy telling Soup how it is. I'm much to polite. Don't know what her problem is, think internet life has spilled over into real life.

sincitylover · 22/12/2009 23:54

Wow admire a 6.30 at Asda SB

thesouthsbelle · 22/12/2009 23:56

I get shoppers rage sin - seriosuly we're talking rammage of trollys into people. (ok not that bad) but you get the jist - althou in 4 minutes it's a new day - so I MAY go to asda now if my pay has gone in & get it out the way.

christmaseve · 22/12/2009 23:58

6.30 am is too early.

I'm hoping it's thawed out to do a lunchtime trip. If not then local. Glad I'm not at work.

hatesponge · 23/12/2009 00:00

Belle - am also impressed with you going shopping at 6.30am...that will probably be me on Xmas Eve - cant go tomorrow as have to go to work, and can't face a pre-work trip round Asda!

thesouthsbelle · 23/12/2009 00:01

seriously why go middle of the day? in n out that's my vote!

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 23/12/2009 07:40

morning.

re lou's comment.. irish never knew had af.. did ask him if it made a difference if he'd come over and he said no.

so yes he came over... and ds spotted him.. he has eyes of a hawk. he never even came in my room. i met him in hallway when i heard him getting out of bed..escorting him downstairs
"do you have someone in your bed"
me"em.. yes"
ds"whats his name then?"

3yo coming on 30[rolls eyes]

i'm downstairs with ds waiting on dd getting up then will just have to see what happens today.

super nervous ladies.

half expecting him to get up later and just do a bolt. ds was up half the night with his man flu

Janos · 23/12/2009 08:10

LOL @ eve, you are forgiven.

asbm - am planning to go down to Newcastle for Christmas tom, just hoping that I can because currently we are having very bad weather (juicy can confirm, if she can see thro that loved up haze )

While my house is fab and I love it..don't want to spend xmas on my own as I am prone to getting a bit depressed this time of year.

southsbelle - did you get out to Asda? I too am massively impressed with you even considering it. Still hiding indoors myself, although I really need to be getting out to work. Lets just say I'm not in any hurry to get there. Snow is a least a foot deep outside....

at your update and your DS juicy! Hope all goes well today. Keep us updated.

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 23/12/2009 08:18

morning janos!!! 1 foot.. wish we had as little. its ridiculously bad here. and there's been another massive fall last night.

i may actually be snowed in today.. thank goodness its my only day off work.

surely someone will come and at least plough the road in my scheme. the groves where the cars had been getting through snow yesterday have frozen this morning.

it was -5 when irish was driving over.. and got considerably colder later last night as we gave up escaping outside for a ciggie and i allowed it in the lumber room as it was simply too cold.

Janos · 23/12/2009 08:30

I know it's bad juicy ! I'm in Currie which is quite high up and parts of A720 are closed due to heavy snowfall so I can well imagine it will be a lot worse in Bathgate.

Dragged myself out of bed this am to what looked like a mini blizzard. Very, very tempting to crawl back into bed!

Anyway I must stop prevaricating and get to work somehow or other (thank god for flexi time).

Catch you later

lou33 · 23/12/2009 10:34

hi all

yes mechanic came down with a bottle of wine , like irish despite af

we had dinner here rather than go out because he got here later than planned due to saving stranded motorists on the side of the road

then we watched a dvd with the older kids

he has asked me to met his friends and family after new year, then said he heard rod stewart is touring in march and he wants to take me , because he knows i like a bit of rod

yeh lb isnt happy, i was talking to him while waiting for the mechanic to arrive about it

we both agree it has to be connected to someone in particular cos of certain things

he is going to send me an email to forward to mnhq

told mechanic about the posts and the gist of it all (he knows i am still in touch with lb)

he thinks the poster is a loon

aseriouslyblondemoment · 23/12/2009 10:54

rofl @ juicy's ds
they don't miss a trick do they?
lou not quite sure what MNHQ can do about this tbh
you'd think that whoever would contact you off site if they have a prob with you
glad your SOH is still intact tho
so are you going to meet the folks then?
and rod stewart tickets too?!
hope you also pointed out that kelly and co are touring in march as well..app dp is on the case for me!

OP posts:
christmaseve · 23/12/2009 11:02

We haven't had any more snow and the main roads are clear so I'm going to get myself presentable and brave a 10 mile drive to Asda.

Salesman lives in the town and has said he will meet me for a coffee. Will text him when I get there. DD is coming but think she will like the civilized approach to meeting a new guy.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 23/12/2009 11:12

are you sure that she won't be sat there scowling at him from across the table?
at least she won't be as direct as juicy's ds tho lol

OP posts:
passmyglassplease · 23/12/2009 11:26

morning all, looks busy on this thread as usual!

glad to see everyone is still dabbling in the dating pond.

I am snowed in and I live in London!

I just wont get in the car unless the roads are completely clear, luckily for me I have everything local, including Morrisons across the road, so we wont starve.

Am hoping nm will get tonight off and join us this afternoon, fingers crossed.

thesouthsbelle · 23/12/2009 12:02

good morning - only a quicvk update from me just running out the door again.
in town & out all shopping now done YAY!

some bastards have cloned my bank card and today, still transfered it all out of that account so it doesn't matter now and cancelled the card. got to asda for half 7 this am, was empty, out by 9 £166 lightyer . Gymboy got on his plane at 11.30 to come home - won't see him now I don't think (might do for an hour tonihgt) but i'm not expecting it, in fact might tell him not to come over as i'm tired as well - want to see him but would rather he was fresh & had an early night to drive to wales tomorrow morning safely. we shall see.

anyhow gotta run be back later on.
x

lou33 · 23/12/2009 12:45

they can remove the posts where his real name has been mentioned and possibly tell the poster to pack it in

he (lb) just messaged me asking me to reconfirm where he will send the email, so he is definitely not wanting to drop it

seems in a good mood tho despite a red wine hangover

yes i will be meeting his mum and 4 siblings and his mates, and yes i did tell him about the stereophonics, he is a big fan too, how handy

kids are really excited because he is bringing his sausage dog to meet them tonight

just took them for a 40 minute meeting with their father , apparently thats all the time he could spare , met them at sainsburys to give them their gifts and take them for a hot drink (which i paid for)

i didnt stay with them , just kept conversation to the bare minimum

LittleMontyontheDustyRoad · 23/12/2009 12:55

Afternoon all.

Belle

Juice - pmsl at ds

Waves at everyone else.

Didn't get into work til all hours today and its very quiet here too. Remind me to take this week off next year ladies. Don't know what I was thinking of.

Passmyglass - Same here, I live on top of a hill and its treacherous!

Might slope off for an hour now lol.

lou33 · 23/12/2009 13:11

mechanic might be goign to get my friend from basingstoke tomorrow evening before he comes to me, as she cant get out of her drive and her son and mum are this way and she is worried she wont be with anyone for xmas

so he said he will get her in his van if he has to and take her to her mums

belle, whats it like round there today?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 23/12/2009 13:18

any idea where you had it cloned belle?
thank god you have some other means of money tho
hope your bank reimburse you quickly, they made dp wait almost a month to sort his out
that's really nice of him lou,he def.sounds a keeper,i bet all your mates are approving of this one lol
have the dcs gone away then pmg?

hope you've got enough booze fags food and essentials in monty if you're going to be stuck in
