ive lost traction 3 times, spun the car once, been hit by another car, and all this morning

mechanic reckons his van will make it to me so is going to come take me out instead

Well Lou his job has certainly come in handy already with the snow tracks.

At work with fa to do waiting to get away for our lunch which will turn into linner. (Lunch that turns into dinner) heard this on radio one this morning.

anyway i got cross at the school today about them being open and telling us to come in, when the council dont grit the roads here, and its up a hill and is basically a sheet of ice

i told them i wont be bringing the kids in after xmas if it is the same, and if they want the pupils in they should get the council to make the road safe to it

its mad , they break up today at 1.15, so they are only open for a couple of hours anyway!

i was lucky that i was going slowly and no cars were on the road with me, when mine spun after leaving the school

WH was coming up today to see me and some others but is snowed in - was looking forward to a voice of sanity amongst all the madness.

Got text from exbf last night saying miss u - also like a breath of fresh air compared with all the long and self absorbed communications I have received from Mr Yorke this week.

It is also freezing here at work so think I'll be leaving a bit early to do a bit of shopping. DS2 was crying as he thought he would be spending the day playing in the snow but only a light sprinkle here and he had to go to school.

Lou sorry to hear about your car escapades sounds terrible. But good for the mechanic.

I'm thinking of not going to the parents drinks tonite. They are being held about six miles away and not that keen on getting unfamiliar taxi home and the club is not near any rail stations. However have to take DS1 to exhs and DS2 to his mates but am not keen on driving either.

So either way looks like a cold journey back home about 8pm.

I really hate cold weather.
