yeah safe bet

Remotew · 23/06/2009 13:52

RJ I would have contributed to your AIBU thread had I been online yesterday. There are certain posters who go on these threads just to be nasty. Weirdos.

Hi to everyone. I'm at work on this lovely day.

ridingjoker · 23/06/2009 13:57

eve - aparently on MN, thumb sucking as an adult is acceptable, and i am evil for thinking its a bit creepy and definately not acceptable.

ninah · 23/06/2009 14:20

fine it's acceptable
just not madly attractive in a bf
will check thread

Remotew · 23/06/2009 14:27

I don't know anyone who does this in RL as an adult. Even DD who was a always sucking her thumb grew out of it at age 6.

Best keep away from AIBU topic. As I found recently. Can be fun sometimes if you feel like an argument

ninah · 23/06/2009 14:27

have posted
lol at hobbies!

notevenamousie · 23/06/2009 14:34

I shall never see hobbies in the same way again!

I started an AIBU on Sunday evening that was meant to be amusingly tongue-in-cheek and I got shot down too rj.

I am really worried about what my ex is planning as he has not replied to my e-mail explaining that I can't take dd to his girlfriend's this weekend. I have a really bad feeling about it.

ridingjoker · 23/06/2009 14:42

mousie, you wont know its bad till you get a response.

thanks for posting. turns out i'm not the only one who finds it odd. some others have come on too. phew! was beginning to think i was really mean for finding it weird

DeeLerious · 23/06/2009 14:42

Hello again!

Have to say rj thumb sucking, though a bit weird doesn't seem too strange if he's done it all his life. What seems more odd is that it sounds like he views it as a guilty pleasure!
I think I would feel compelled to cross exam him about this out of amused curiosity, and then show him the door! (unless his attributes outweighed his weirdness) Is thumbsucker his new nickname?

I admire you all for braving it with new men. Part of me wants to have a go (it's been 1 1/2 years now) but I'm a bit scared to go for it. Still feel attached to eh of 25 + years but I'm not passed it yet & long for some sort of something! Any advice for me? (Apart from beware of thumbsuckers, crossdressers and the like!)

ridingjoker · 23/06/2009 14:43

dee - you just have to keep an open mind and a gsoh.

lou33 · 23/06/2009 15:02

well if anyone lives not far from me i keep gong down to a common a few miles away , and each time i do there are usually 20 or so soldiers on exercise, it might be handy for you ladies

i was geocaching with dd2, and we had found the main area where the cache was located

unfortunately i couldnt rummage about because we were suddenly surrounded by a horde of hot sweaty soldiers with guns pointing all over the place

i felt it best not to rummage within a few feet of them for the cache in case they thought i was planting a bomb

we could always go back en masse and pretend to be damsels in distress tho?

LouLovesAeroplaneJelly · 23/06/2009 16:54

Ohh soldiers - my favourite type of uniform

ridingjoker · 23/06/2009 17:45

damn my rule about not messaging really good looking guys.

check out

Greenie1979 on POF

lou33 · 23/06/2009 17:47

they looked rather hot and pissed off llaj, who wouldnt be in this weather?!

Remotew · 23/06/2009 18:17

RJ, Greenie is very good looking, sounds great too. Has he replied back yet?

notevenamousie · 23/06/2009 18:20

I think such rules should be relaxed, rj. No harm in looking or talking, is there

ridingjoker · 23/06/2009 18:37

havent messaged him yet. will do later, thinking of something witty to send.

LouLovesAeroplaneJelly · 23/06/2009 18:48

Well at least he had a shot of him with his guitars and not his cars. Nice kilt shot too.

lou33 · 23/06/2009 19:07

ask him which part of him gets bigger when he turns green

ridingjoker · 23/06/2009 19:18

oh lou i had an ex who's manhood was nicknamed "the hulk" , i'm distracted by a few others at the moment to think about greenie.

will get round to it eventually

lou33 · 23/06/2009 19:23

can i be a voice of dissent here, and say whilst he isnt a bad looking chap, he isnt particularly jaw dropping

will you hate me for that?

ridingjoker · 23/06/2009 19:43

lou - he's definately the type though if you were to meet you in person your pants would slide off when he purrs "hello", full of charm and bullshit.

oh lord, this is the dillusion of internet dating. he's probably got a squeaky joe pasqual voice

aseriouslyblondemoment · 23/06/2009 20:01

heyyy!
tho i was warming to marvel big time i confess
it's soo good to see you out online again RJ as i love your stories!
