lou - go on send me a pic of dark horse i'm so nosey.

ninah - i think thats really rude of your friend. if she didn't have anything nice to say she shouldn't have said anything at all.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/06/2009 14:16

well it just goes to show you that there are some decent blokes out there and thank goodness both you and ninah have been lucky

ridingjoker · 10/06/2009 14:28

i cant complain with my lot off internet either. got holiday to cairo

marvel is still marvellous asbm. lol.

oooh and i went to get some lush new bed sheets today. these cheap crap ones i have here were driving me bonkers. all last night i was kept awake by chaffed elbow . damned skin has been too used to the nice ones in old house. so i've treated myself to some high thread count ones.

think i might finally show marvel my bedroom to test them out.

ninah - at least their weird hobbies keeps them busy.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/06/2009 14:32

lou33 · 10/06/2009 14:41

you iron sheets?!!!

ridingjoker · 10/06/2009 14:41

just from the fitted sheet going that bobbly way. the sheets were just super cheap numbers from argos or somewhere. i sleep with arms under head. sheets are super bobbly as wahsed 1-2 times a week past 6 months with dc climbing in bed in morning.

i've blooming spent a fortune though. dc may be banned from bed. lol.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/06/2009 19:30

haha!
no i dont iron the fitted ones silly im not that sad

raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 10/06/2009 19:41

lou - I dont disagree with asking out, but it does piss me off when you are the one to do all the asking. you never know if they just arent bothered, or are lazy gits, and neither is good really

so few of us have been out with teatotal men. hmm. not convinced. But, I guess you will always have a driver

:O at the concept of ironing sheets! I actually iron nothing. I am a lazy git when it comes to housework. I wear all my clothes tight so the creases dont show up!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/06/2009 19:56

rjt if you're having to do all the asking then assume that they're not that fussed
what's happ with pof?

LouLovesAeroplaneJelly · 10/06/2009 20:21

pof is full of wierdoes is what happened

Remotew · 10/06/2009 20:23

Hi, everything back to normal for me now. Had a fantastic week of partying but been permanently knacked.

Still puffing away, well done to Ragged for giving up, will be joining you at some point in the near future.

Lot's of fit young men at the wedding mainly with their equally lovely wifes/girlfriends. I behaved myself and didn't flirt much.

The men I've been chatting to on POF in the last few months have been backwards in coming forwards to ask me out. One recent one has disappeared off the radar. He knew I was going to be run off my feet but hasn't bothered to keep in touch. Not sure if I should initiate contact again?

Anyone remember 'Captain'? He was in the pub last night, alone, I was with a group of friends having great fun. He was as subtle as a ton of bricks about the fact that he regretted breaking it off with me so soon. Haha!! Asked me to contact him but he has noooooo chance.

ridingjoker · 10/06/2009 20:44

oh eve - its fab when you get to show an ex just how much better off without them you are . bet you were living it up having a great time with the girls while he looked on forelonging

OP posts:
Remotew · 10/06/2009 20:51

Better than that I was with male and female friends.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/06/2009 21:36

wedding sounds fun-did you have a few dances tho?

if you're still interested but no more than that!
omfg captain?how could we forget?cheeky fecker lol

lostinthecitylover · 10/06/2009 21:51

I also iron nothing.

And also puffing away!! 3-4 per day.

lou33 · 10/06/2009 21:59

oh bloody hell now i have remembered i havent had a fag since about 2pm

Remotew · 10/06/2009 21:59

I don't iron anything either.

Was dancing most of the night with various people. There was a live band which always creates a great atmosphere.

Yes might send a friendly hi this weekend. After all the men I reply to on POF are few and far between.

ASBM very impressed with your second date lined up.

lostinthecitylover · 10/06/2009 22:15

I also have no money lou - its shit isn't it?

lostinthecitylover · 10/06/2009 22:17

Plus now unsure whether I can see samename on sun as exh said he wants dcs picked up at 12. Will be negotiating for a later time.

I honestly don't think I have enough free time to develop a 'relationship' with anyone - perhaps I would be right to stick with a fb type thing for now.

lou33 · 10/06/2009 22:31

i found £3.44 in my bag, so i feel rich atm

lostinthecitylover · 10/06/2009 22:56

yes that;s what it is like for me atm too!
