So, it seems that I have a date in the very near future (not sure when yet) and the possibility of my freaking out about it is quite big, so hints and tips appreciated.

I think i figured out why he is pissed off. He had told people I think, I can tell by a remark on fb.

( He wasnt very charasmtic at school IIRC- he was in my class but I dont remember much about him, apart from he was shorter than me- believe it or not)

Annoyingly dd1 picked the phone up too and saw who the message was from and said 'it's , whoever that is'.

Shall i have a bet with myself how long it is before xp asks me who it is ? lol
