aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 10:23

Hi all quick update. Had a lovely time (again) went to a pub near mine and then back to mine. Dropped him at station quite early this morning.

Still feeling rough. Hope this bug will get better soon.

Planning to see him one night next week - poss go over to his for the evening.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 10:34

hey scl good stuff
sounds as if you're quite keen here
where does this leave samename1?

OP posts:
lostinthecitylover · 17/04/2009 10:37

its weird because when I first meet him each time I think hmm but I am then won over by his company and wit. Plus we seem v compatible physically. , I do fancy him too!

Samename1 was a one hit wonder methinks - he made no effort to stay in touch after we met. But he lived miles away.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 10:40

i think that sounds like the making of something here

OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 17/04/2009 10:50

asbm, no marathon man was not one of yours, but I did like the selection you sent me.

I suggested The Bod as well! Great minds think alike

scl, glad it went well, go on tell me how many dates before you guys got physical?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 10:55

yep see lou we're in agreement here
The Body
rather apt i think lol
itm that's a rather risque question for this time of the day

OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 17/04/2009 11:07

no, not after you, lou, and rj having a discussion about bum sex yesterday!

am rather hoping marathon man has a few muscles! I think I may be right there. I had a good conversation with him last night via test and I got the impression he was keen to meet up, which was nice.

Skippy is still away for another 2 weeks but has suggested a meet up for a few glasses of red wine when he gets back, he sounds a fun guy.

Holly23 · 17/04/2009 11:08

SCL - What can I say apart from you lucky girl!

So its the Body then for Lou's fella.

Asbm - not surprised you've lost track, I have with all the guys you've sent my way plus there are also the ones I've looked at on pof! And what were the 2 you sent me yesterday all about??? crazy girl!
and yes Tintin and this guy from pof (hence forth known as Wetblanket) may well be related!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 11:11

what are you doing on your date with marathon man then?
am hoping he'll bring his guitar with him here you know
he's a bit johnny depp in chocolat isn't he?
and nice to know that you still have skippy as your other option
see that frd sub wasn't wasted aft.all

OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 17/04/2009 11:46

meeting him reasonably early on sunday (just in case) at Paddington staion. I dont know the area well but there are bound to be coffee shops in the station and then we can move on from there as we are in West London there will be loads of things to do, I hope!

This is only my 2nd live meet 1st being bob from pof, marathon man from frd, not great value for money!

And you are going straight for dinner with your one, what type of food are you going for? bet is thai?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 12:02

sounds good
coffee and croissants at the ready then!
not too sure where we're going tbh
he offered to drive but i don't think that's wise so i suggested meeting half way
he's suggested that i choose the venue
so no press.there for me lol

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 12:09

holly??
can't remember what i sent your way at all actually
must have been bad then

OP posts:
lou33 · 17/04/2009 14:28

lol @ all these names, i was just gonna call him exex!

it is sweet he lets me know, it's exactly like he used to be before, except i wake up to a text in the morning from him instead of a phone call (cos he cant phone me on the way to work on his bike)

it looks like the plan tomorrow is he comes up about 2 and we take the kids to the bbq, hang out there for a while then come back to mine and have a quiet night in (both broke and he wants to watch family guy at 9 lol ), so back to the routine we used to have, funny how we slipped into it so easily again

ridingjoker · 17/04/2009 14:35

afternoon all. very pleased there seems to be an influx in dates going on.

scl - looking good for you and samename. did you have a that chat you were going to have with him.

i'm starting to get very excited as now less than 2 weeks till my date.....not sure if called a date....superman says its "x" sleeps till he sees his gf which is nice when he's talking about it.

i've told him we're sleeping in seperate bedrooms

lou33 · 17/04/2009 15:18

scl am glad it went well

does 2 weeks seem ages away?

ridingjoker · 17/04/2009 15:29

no. seems really close. think back to when it was originally 3 months. knocked few weeks off with me going out there instead of waiting on him coming back here. time flies doesn't it!!

lou33 · 17/04/2009 15:32

it definitely does

exex will no doubt be gone before i know it

ridingjoker · 17/04/2009 15:39

oh lou. thats a shame too.

lou33 · 17/04/2009 15:46

something is better than nothing with him i feel

he is my achilles heel lol

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 17:44

blimey rj
as i said to you before i really can't believe that the time has flown by so quickly

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 17/04/2009 17:57

i know. do you remeber when it seemed like a lifetime to wait. i'll be honest. was unsure if i would manage to keep focused and attention on someone i'd never met.

but its rather nice to have spents months(yes it will be months by the time we meet), getting to know someone first.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/04/2009 17:59

well i for one think it's a lovely story
