OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 16/04/2009 08:02

morning all, marathon man did txt me back and we have a date for sunday!

no little black wrap dress tho, I shall be going nice and slow with this one! lol

Holly23 · 16/04/2009 09:22

Inthemist - so what will you be wearing then?

Lou- Maybe we're just to cautious for our own good? Still it seems fittie may be suffering with the same condition and for the moment, thats fine by me

inthemistsoftime · 16/04/2009 09:31

hi Holly, I will be wearing very tight jeans and a white T shirt with high boots. Its a combination that makes me feel confident and I think I can say that I look good in it.

Anyone else out this weekend apart from lou, litcl, asbm,(tho I have lost track of who it is with) and scl?

lou33 · 16/04/2009 11:43

i will be in jeans and a t shirt too, we are going to a bbq friends of mine are having , with my kids

sounds all very coupley doesnt it?

think he is coming up about 2 ish, though he has a family birthday on friday night so he will probably run late

he just asked me if he was going to be hated there, i said i dont understand why he would think that, i have never said anything bad about him to anyone

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/04/2009 12:53

ooh itm
so marathon man took the hint eh?
phileas is app.keeping whole weekend free for me
hes ringing me later to see what i will agree to lol
no word as yet from the other 2
tho i know that indie has had a busy time at work and has been doing lates
lou do hope the weather holds its bucketing it down here atm.

OP posts:
ninah · 16/04/2009 12:57

hello moh! hoped it wasn't you, as wanted things to be still on with your nice n - not so n now m
lost - you need to delete that man's number! or come on here if you feel the urge. horrible isn't it? texting just sooo easy ...
holly I have to say I really like the sound of fittie and I'm glad you are still in touch
itm I think it's a bit vulgar to talk about other dates you may be having, so be aware with Marathon Man, on the other hand Running World Man seems v promising.
lol at how many agreed with me about the receipts, and eve's air con story! yes, there was a debate about extra for a harbour view lol ... I don't mind Soo much at this stage as I like being equal in terms of what we pay for but it would be a real worry if we ever got more serious. I think it's mostly down to inexperience with women, he was prone to turning up here with a half drunk bottle of screw top wine but once advised to be a little more stylish 'jsut in case you need to get back on teh internet again' has shown improvement. So atm it's more a reservation than a run for the hills screaming. Have to say it doesn't help that my ex for all his faults never did this and the day I collected dc took us all out for a very nice lunch
perhaps he has genuine money worries also, though they can hardly be greater than mine

ninah · 16/04/2009 12:59

lol asbm
the other 2
on a roll, girl

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/04/2009 13:10

hmm ninah
lets face it none of us are minted are we?
and i dont think that any of us ladies on here are so shallow that we're gold diggers
he prob.has money worries from what you're saying
but there's being cautious and there's being a bit mean too
hope he doesnt fall into the latter category here
glad that my choice of 3 is making you
as you know its all subject to change at any time lol.

OP posts:
ninah · 16/04/2009 13:19

yes most people are money mean in some ways, but it's never a turn on is it? I try to keep my petty economies hidden iyswim
What do you mean it could all change?! you have MORE hidden in the wings?
phileas sounds quite sweet tho, you will know more soon. do you still hear from tin tin?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/04/2009 13:32

no money issues are never a turn on whether its lack of it or harry enfield's loadsa money type geezers either
well it can all change can't it?
i don't have anymore hidden in the wings
yes,phileas lol
tintin is wanting me to text him as he is too scared to ask a woman out despite being almost 40
he will eventually crumble tho and send me one of his shy little texts
ho what a wicked woman i am
of the 3 indieman is of most interest to me prob.as i know the least about him

OP posts:
ninah · 16/04/2009 13:34

yes I thought you had a soft spot for him, he is also the most elusive

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/04/2009 13:38

lol @ elusive!
it's my natural curiosity i think
we appear to have a fair bit in common and he lives closer too
he's also nice and tall too

OP posts:
lostinthecitylover · 16/04/2009 13:42

I am here tho with a virus that (according to GP) could go on for two to three weeks!!

However I am going to struggle on to my hot date sleepover with samename2. We are meeting after work, going to a pub or restaurant near mine then back to mine for a chat about current events lol

I have a change of clothes in my bag here.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/04/2009 13:46

scl that sounds nasty
are you really going to be able to soldier on there?
sounds like you're being a martyr to the cause

OP posts:
lostinthecitylover · 16/04/2009 14:01

Yep I will be Ok thanks. I did cx something last night though and have a quiet night in watching the apprentice and long steamy bath (helps the voice).

Don't mean to sound like a martyr I think my need for some lurvin tends to override most things. And after today not very easy for me to get free for abt three weeks due to various circs. Perhaps I am an addict

Same thing happened with exbf at Xmas when I had flu. Dosed myself up and got on with it. As did he once when he felt unwell - shortly after went down with food poisoning. He actually looked green lol. When I asked him why he had come round he said he didn't want to let me down (!). Of course I said 'nothing in it for you!!!!)

ridingjoker · 16/04/2009 14:02

scl - a good date is worth the soldering on. you might get sympathy vote and looked after which is nice.

asbm - indie man sounds like your fav. but i like the sound of gentleman phileas the most. i think you would walk all over tintin if given the chance. he seems too shy for you.

all those on dates have fun.bbq sounds good lou.

i had one of the funniest side splitting calls with superman last night when he called me and he was drunk. needless to say he doesn't remember a word he said today. but it bodes well that he can have a drink and not turn into jekyll and hyde like some of our encounters on this thread. i think he will be great fun on a night out.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/04/2009 14:52

rofl at those comments rj
i am actually quite shy myself really
seriously!!
superman does sound a good laugh indeed
and so nice to be a funny drunk than a nasty bitter one iyswim
i wonder if some other poor woman is being pestered by thesp now lou?
and no doubt blackberry is still up to his marathon mucky text sessions as well
scl what can i say?

OP posts:
lou33 · 16/04/2009 15:35

it rained loads last night but its lovely here today

they said if it is bad weather they will just cook inside lol

the bbq is because my friend has her birthday the next day (and i can cuddle her 3 month old daughter, yay)

ridingjoker · 16/04/2009 15:40

he was funny. but a bloody chancer. aparently i am going over there and will be making dinner on the night that we are not going for dinner

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/04/2009 15:53

er no superman
it doesn't work like that lol

OP posts:
lou33 · 16/04/2009 16:06

a man who doesnt get belligerent when drunk is good, thats what put me off meeting the thesp and why i cut contact with him

exbf is always genial when he has had a few

ridingjoker · 16/04/2009 16:25

asbm - makes for a great bargaining tool though if i oblige . he's quite crafty in the kitchen himself. has offered he'll repay the deed when he comes over here and he's on holiday and i'm the one coming in from work.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/04/2009 16:25

that's the way it should be really.
have you put ym on the backburner now lou?
