Morning all. Couldn't sleep last nite all mixed up thoughts whirling thru my head. Still awake at 4.30am

Lou - feel nervous and excited for you.

I did look on my usual dating website and had a sweet message from Mr Botanical. So will reply to that.

Samename2 has gone out for the day (an annual jolly) it's just a question of if DS1 is going out tomorrow as to whehter I can meet him tomorrow or whether it will have to wait.

lou33 · 12/04/2009 13:05

i am looking forward to it and she is a really good mate

she said she would do it for me cos she loves me and she knows it will make me happy

lou33 · 12/04/2009 15:28

right so we have decided t meet at 12 for lunch not far from me, which saves me a drive and means i might get a go on the back of his speed triple

lou33 · 12/04/2009 15:45

straight or curly hair?

vote please

lostinthecitylover · 12/04/2009 16:19

I like your hair curly.

lou33 · 12/04/2009 16:27

i just spoke to male best friend, he went out last night and met a woman, i said as i joke i wondered if i knew her

then relised i actually do, she is one of my friends, haha!

he said that was the deciding factor and he wasnt going to see her again

poor guy lol

aseriouslyblondemoment · 12/04/2009 17:34

oh fingers crossed there scl with the arrangements
my exh is bringing my dc back a day early
he seems to think that we agreed it
lou never seen your hair curly so can't vote

OP posts:
lou33 · 12/04/2009 17:46

Janos · 12/04/2009 17:55

I'm gonna throw my oar in and say curly hair.

Mine does that 'agreement' thing too ASBM. "This is what we agreed" in X language means "this is what I want to do so TS if it doesn't suit you".

aseriouslyblondemoment · 12/04/2009 17:59

oh yes
TS asbm TS v.much the words i hear
good job i wasnt actually going out isnt it
or no doubt id be seen as being a time waster as well lol

OP posts:
Janos · 12/04/2009 18:07

Oh yeah mine, likes to chop and change arrangements when it suits him but if I want to do it for whatever reason (once in a blue moon) then it's always inconvenient or he has something else arranged.

It's all about CONTROL I reckon.

lou33 · 12/04/2009 18:14

curly hair will mean less faffing about in the morning

lostinthecitylover · 12/04/2009 18:18

yes my exh does that too. it's all about him and his hard life with work and new dcs. He is also v controlling. The other week he even pushed the button on the pedestrian crossing as he wanted DS2 and I to go (we were outside his work)

he's been out of country since the beg of April and at one level it's been bliss mot having to deal with him. Tho I have had the help of my parents DS1 is back and DS2 has gone there.

wondering if I can leave DS2 on his Playstation for a couple of hours tomorrow (he's nearly 13). Would that be terrible. He is home alone some nights after school for abt 2 hours.

lostinthecitylover · 12/04/2009 18:18

meant DS1 not DS2

kdk · 12/04/2009 18:19

Count yourselves lucky you've got exes around to take the kids from time to time. Mine doesn't live in this country so not sure how I will ever go about doing the dirty - assuming I ever find someone to do the dirty with!

lou33 · 12/04/2009 18:27

mine doesnt take them ever, and has seen them once since november

lou33 · 12/04/2009 18:27

theres always a way kdk

lostinthecitylover · 12/04/2009 18:28

not sure how old your Dcs are but you have to do it in the daytime when the dcs are at school! have done that on a few occasions!!

yes I am lucky but it still equates to one overnight every 14 days! Better than nothing I suppose.

lou33 · 12/04/2009 18:28

scl me too, it's fun tho

lostinthecitylover · 12/04/2009 18:31

also had a couple of 3am visits when DCs sound asleep!!

Janos · 12/04/2009 18:33

I understand where you're coming from KDK. It must sound ungrateful to you.

Sometimes tho I'd truly prefer to have no ex than the one I do have (controlling bully).

Three years since we've split and he still wants to be in charge of everything to do with DS and have everything on his terms. It's exhausting and stressful to deal with, but DS loves his Dad to bits so have to put up with it all.
