Part 7 - blimey!
Abouteve - Yes not been able to pop on so much over last couple of weeks because of work, and this thread moves so quickly! I finished work yesterday and I am not back until next Wednesday

asbm - yes we do need a nickname!

Remotew · 09/04/2009 21:56

Was just about to ask where everyone is and is there something on TV I don't know about then saw I was 1001 post on part 6. You do realise ladies, that we may be in a race here. Or perhaps we should start our own secret forum, you have to be voted in. How pwohrmning would that be. lol

Remotew · 09/04/2009 21:58

My msn man's nickname is the 'toon'. That's if I ever chat to him again. He's a decent guy but not sure if I can buzz of decent. lol

Tortoise · 09/04/2009 22:03

Has anyone tried Kids no object dating site? Just found it! But is quite expensive to join (Free to add profile). I guess price would put off time wasters and weirdos more than free sites do.

I do think with 4 DC i am maybe better off on a site where more people have DC or are looking for a ready made family!

Then again, what do i know! lol

aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/04/2009 22:06

yeah dont forget eve we also have our book in the making
with film to follow
will be casting soon so please have a good think who you'd like to play you!
oh and dont forget my little cottage industry making'fedup NOT hardup't.shirts
wonder how scl is getting on

OP posts:
Holly23 · 09/04/2009 22:07

Tortoise - I don't know tbh there's so many dating websites out there and I wonder if some of them have enough members to trawl thru especially for all us yummie mummies!

Tortoise · 09/04/2009 22:08

I did see a couple of ok looking ones in the free search but it didn't say their location! There has to be enough men out there for us all.

Holly23 · 09/04/2009 22:16

Ah yes but how many of them are "fit and interesting?"

kdk · 09/04/2009 22:17

I'm always amazed at the huge number of dating websites. Have to say I'm not a great believer in paid-for sites (see my previous posts) but am starting to think about mysinglefriend - only because you/others have to be vouched for. Anyone got any knowledge/experience?

Remotew · 09/04/2009 22:19

I guess it depends on the area you live in. I'm in the sticks so I would only go with the most popular sites. ie POF or DD.

asbm who is going to play me, hey thats a thought. So which actress do we know that is well after her sell by date, but still manages a bit of attention? hmmm. Elizabeth Hurley?? Madonna?? Too expensive OK then I will play myself.

Who could anyone else recommend for the film. ASBM I reckon could be played by Heromine something that used to be in that thing with James Nesbitt, OMG my memory is all to pot tonight. Helen Baxendale was in it, she could play me. RJ who do you think? Anyone young a bountiful. Lots of scope. Lou OMG take your pick. Joely Richardson, with those beautiful cheekbones. Holly the girl from 'Bend it like Beckham'

OK my imagination is running away with me.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/04/2009 22:20

tortoise have only ever had one fella put off by me having dc
its rare to find someone single no kids at our kind of ages
i think its odd tbh
like tintin!

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/04/2009 22:24

Remotew · 09/04/2009 22:24

So anyone offended by my who plays you suggestions? ASBM she's called Hermoine Norris. Very blond, middle/upper class top totty.

Holly23 · 09/04/2009 22:26

The programme was Cold Feet!

Remotew · 09/04/2009 22:28

If anyone gets to my age without having kids I would be worried tbh.

I think what Tortoise was trying to say earlier was. do you advertise the fact that you have children. You have people saying that that might attract peodos so I can understand where she came from earlier.

My advice is to just trust your judgement and only reply to around 5% of the messages that you get and then take lots of clues from there.

Remotew · 09/04/2009 22:29

Thanks Holly, I was trying to remember. Cold feet!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/04/2009 22:36

'cold feet'
i used to love that series and had a huge crush on james nesbitt
god hes such a cheeky chappy with a real twinkle in his eye
i think that your suggestions are good there
but i will play myself if any of my blokes are played by some hot actors
will keep the budget under control i think

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/04/2009 22:42

lol at me being posh totty
hermione norris is fine
but tell me eve if im supposedly so posh why do i get these skanky dregs of men pursuing me?

OP posts:
Holly23 · 09/04/2009 22:43

Hear, hear asbm, I'll play myself too. Yes Cold Feet was brill.

Remotew · 09/04/2009 22:44

Well asbm anything in the name of art. You couldn't not.

The thing I would like to know is who are going to play the men?????

Lets think. Jonny Depp for the Captain. Mickey Rouke for the one that broke my heart and Will Young for the toyboy last week.

Anyone else. lol

Remotew · 09/04/2009 22:45

asbm, because they have fingers and they are deluded.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/04/2009 22:48

lol @ eve
hmm am thinking here
liam neeson for evil exbf
kelly jones with built up heels for cheeky chops
rupert penry jones for tintin
jason orange for T1WGA

OP posts:
Holly23 · 09/04/2009 22:52

ohhh there were a couple of nice actors in "He's not that into you", hold on I have them on speed dial! lol

Remotew · 09/04/2009 22:55

I like them all asbm.

You are not fantasising there. lol

Throw in Ralph Feinnes (sp) then I think I'm in heaven.

Just a thought, do you think that us yumm....
are aiming a little high? No on second thoughts we are being realistic, don't ever lower our standards. We deserve it.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/04/2009 23:09

well hell yes i think so eve
being such lush fit women that we are
i prefer joseph fiennes to ralph tho
ralph is a bit of a one by all accounts
tho i guess he'll prob.fit the bill then in that case judging by alot of the shite we seem to have had
have a nickname for my latest cyberman-alan whicker!
and behave he doesn't look like him hes just well travelled!!
tho could have chosen filleas fogg i guess
oh and before you gripe there lou
kelly with built up shoes is a good choice as cheeky chops is welsh too with same hairdo
