Do you worry about your health, or is it just me?

i find myself worrying about my health rather a lot these days, i am all the kids have and having watched DH die from cancer i find myself worrying all the time.
i worry about the kids being ill too, i have a problem with sick i don't cope with it well and i am dreading any of the kids being sick.
how do other lone parents cope with this?

For the second time today, I was reminded kindly by exh, that if anything did happen to me, my DD's will end up in foster care.

I am aware of the fact that he only has a 2 bedroom flat, that he shares with dw and disabled mil...but what's wrong with the sofas and the air bed he has?
Obviously he doesn't love his kids as much as I thought he did. When needs must, you muddle through.

Now I hope and pray that I never get sick, go to hospital or get hit by a bus. The thought of my kids in foster care just fills me with dread and fear.

Oh Purple, no wonder he is your ex!!!

How awful. But hopefully you will never be in that position. My DH would sleep on the floor for our DD. Hope you are ok.
