Which group is that, nutty?

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 19:03

The lone parent one. I don't mean on here, I mean in RL.

Should we have a really shit day thread involving lots of alcohol and try and forget today?

Got a solicitors letter the ex is taking me to court because even though only 4 weeks ago he put in writing he's accepting of access arrangements and we'd review in a few months he's changed his mind. Obviously would rather spend his money in court than contributing towards his children.

Think I'll open the winebox with a cork screw and use a straw. Least it'll save washing up.

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 19:04

Good idea ANT, wine is already flowing here.

Has exp done something shitty again? What's happening with your house swap?

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 19:07

House swap is off Freckle, the lady has pulled out again.

charliecat · 31/07/2008 19:48

If you are so miserable Nutty, why dont you get back with xp?

I have put that just to make you think...well, whatever you think.
But just pointing out other grass was no greener..am I making sense?..

davidtennantsmistress · 31/07/2008 19:50

i'll have a swig of that wine straw please!

why did the lady pull out? (not sure how house swops work)

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 19:55

Some made up story about social services telling her that shed no longer be able to foster children if she lived here because next door have loads of pets

Basically she just changed her mind again.

I see your point CC and ok no I wouldn't get back with Xp, but life is no better now than without him. It is just different shit but the same amount.

OP posts:
davidtennantsmistress · 31/07/2008 19:57

eh sounds like a cop out as you say.

has she done this before then?

look at the positives thou... you don't have to share the bed any more! lol. er... you get to decide the rules. er.... hmm... can do as you please (within reason of dc's).. don't ahve to be walking on egg shells in your own home.

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 19:59

LOL, I would dearly love to be able to share a bed tbh. Not with xp mind.

Yes the lady had done the same before. I was meant to swap with her about 6 mths ago but she decided the house needed too much work. So, fast forward 6mths, I have done majority of the work and she then says she wants it again. I agree, get kids all excited and she pulls out again.

davidtennantsmistress · 31/07/2008 20:01

what a mare! how rude of her! is her house nicer etc than yours? would you go on teh list again for a transfer of house.

ah sharing a bed's over rated I reckon - men snore, and nick all the duvet - not to mention the tv remote!

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 20:23

Her house was loads nicer yeah. I doubt I will look for another exchange now tbh.

OP posts:
ConstanceWearing · 31/07/2008 20:27

Social services won't give her foster children cos she's a dithery, indecisive bitch, more like. Farks sake. How can she pee you about like that? It's not on.

Give me her address, I'll get me sat nav....
Punched nose within the hour.

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 20:31

LOL CW

Am half expecting her foster son to turn up here and give me a mouthful tbh, but he'd be picking the wrong moment if he did, I am just in the mood scream my head off at him.

I just don't know what to do anymore tbh. It's got to the point where I no longer expect anything even remotly nice to happen to me, and if it does I am so sceptical about it going well that it ruins it anyway.

So many people keep telling me that my time will come, I will be happy in all of the areas of my life that I am unhappy in.

I don't believe a word of it anymore. I think my time passed me by ages ago.

OP posts:
davidtennantsmistress · 31/07/2008 20:33

course it didn't nutty - you ahve a lot going for you. and you're only young (iirc??!!)

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 20:36

No honestly I think it did.

I can't get out of my head that so far, everyone who has said 'you never know whats around the corner' or 'your time will come' etc etc, has been wrong.

Who's to say it won't always be like this now. No one really knows do they. I could spend the rest of my life going from one bit of crap the the next.

OP posts:
IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 21:33

I don't want to do this anymore. I don't want to be me, be here, or live like this anymore, it is driving me frigging mental.

Don't worry, I not gonna run off and top myself or anything, I just have so had enough of absolutly everything that I want to lie in bed until somethig nice happens.

OP posts:
Toothache · 31/07/2008 21:36

Nutty - I know exactly what you mean! I had a day like this on Monday.
People keep telling me things will get better. But it's been 2 YEARS.
hmph

feeling horribly sorry for myself and thats the worst place to be. Nothing seems fixable.

However, today I'm not feeling like that. Is this a baaaaaaaad day?

Toothache · 31/07/2008 21:37

Yesterday I actually told someone I was SO bored being me. Bored of my own issues! lol

allgonebellyup · 31/07/2008 21:45

Nutty - you dont do anything to make things happen!!!!!!!!!! You said you never go out!?
There wont be someone or something just turn up on your doorstep, you have to go out and start your life up again.
i know its hard but its what i've been doing the past 12months and i feel so much happier. I like to have lots of things on the go, otherwise i get depressed, and you sound like this..?

Sorry about your house swap though, that woman sounds like she is just messing you around.

Did you get onto any courses/jobs for this Sept? what happened to the M&S training course?

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 21:53

I don't do anything to make things happen.
Sorry but that is just absolute crap.

I wanted to move so I put the house on a swap site.

I want a job so have applied for hundreds.

When in my posts have I said that I expect someone to or something to turn up on my doorstep ?? I haven't, not once.

I have tried more than you know and tbh am beginning to wonder why you keep replying to my threads when all you seem to do is tell me that I don't do enough to change my life.

OP posts:
allgonebellyup · 31/07/2008 21:59

sorry

i have pissed you off again

IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 22:01

Well yeah you have tbh.

OP posts:
IllegallyBrunette · 31/07/2008 22:04

Don't worry though bellyup. You are not the only person to think that I don't do enough.
