Having a 'sick of being a LP' day today

Just that really.

It started last night when I sat having yet another conversation with myself.

I will never ever ever get used to the constant feeling of being alone, I just hate it too much.

I really don't think that is the case emma unfortunatly.

I know I don't go out a fat lot, but even when I do I don't get any interest what so ever, not one bit. Also, on dating sites I never get any inteest either. People read that I have three kids and thats it.

I've been seeing endless amounts of guys but basically they all just seem to be looking for "no strings fun" I get so bloody mad. I career between being a hermit and meeting these wally's. Feck feck feck!

Don't worry, I realise that I am being extremely pessamistic, but at the end of the day, I am not sure anyone has enough hope left after 2.6 years.

I know how it feels. These sort of days feel so meaningless, dull, and lonely. Not rying to make you feel worse, just to say I hear ya.

I never expected, ever to be so alone, at this age.

I was divorced when only in my mid 20's with no kids I thought I would meet someone great very soon. 20 year + later and guess what I didn't meet that great person just a load of losers.

Sorry this isn't cheering you up is it. Well DD is now 14 and I've done it all alone these years and it's not been too bad. We are really close and have had a fun life together.

Just recently I've started to feel down about still being alone. So can a veteran join you in being sick of being an LP.

Another lonely lp here. I feel like you all too.
I went to a friends 50th birthday party on Saturday night and i spent most of the time sat alone while DC had fun dancing. I felt so alone and wished I had a partner who could be there with me. Someone to talk to etc like everyone else who was there. It made me feel very .

i am the same, but i do get a lot of attention from men, i am just v picky and never seem to fancy any of them.
All the ones i do fancy, even if they are giving me the eye, are taken.

i am kind of resigned to the fact that i will be on my own for a very very very long time, and Abouteve has just confirmed this for me!

I cant really remember what its like to live with someone after 10 years on my tod. How sad is that!

I hate coming in from work knowing I have to clean the house, that i'll have another row with dd come bedtime and that ds will use every excuse in the book to keep coming downstairs until I go to bed because at age 11 he's still scared of the dark.

I have met guys but if something's not right im less inclined to give it a go anyway because of confusing the kids. So I mostly stay alone.
