Title says it all really. Your internet dating stories please?

Not all weirdos and I met some really nice men through internet dating.

I got hurt though, because I naively thought that even if we didn't "click" we could be friends, but the men I met didn't see it that way. It was all or nothing.

It did help build my confidence though (after being a complete wreck the first few times) and I got to have some fun nights out.

Met the lovliest man ever on datingdirect a few months ago - he's everything I could want and am looking forward to whatever the future might hold. Only problem with online dating can be distance and he lives 200 miles away. But love conquers all and we're both happy to travel to see eachother and he'd be able to move before too long if it all worked out.

I tried a few sites...Guardiansoulmates, match and loveandfriends. can't really recommend one particular site, it just depends on who you meet. I'd say I met 'mostly' nice guys and ended up seeing one guy who was my dream man for quite a while [wish he was still with me ] .
I think you have to approach it as 'fun' and don't expect too much [it's good just to have reason to go out but don't get drunk!]. I did meet one particular idiot and ended feeling a complete fool...I wised up quickly afterwards, but I couldv'e easilly met him somewhere else and got the same treatment!

I met three of my kidz dadz on the net, the pubs better though, at least I got a drink from the dads of the other two an it helps a bit after a chinzano
