Have to say, when it comes to woemn I have always been pretty clueless. After meeting, marrying, having a child with and being suddenly and unexpectedly being divorced by her kind of confirms things.
I'm on a couple of dating sites. From my POV, a lot of women (and I say women, because I don't tend to date men ) don't seem willing to give men a chance - I'm sure it's the same the other way round, too.
I've had relationships where it's been love and first sight and all that; I've had others where she's grown on me.
Are all men out for sex sex sex? Can't say I would say no, but (and I don't know if I'll come over gay or a wet blanket for saying this) but as much as anything else I want companionship with. Someone who I can slam the front door in the evening with when it gets dark and just be close to - a partner in crime and all that.
Maybe I would like to get married again - have more kids with and have the nice, settled family life which I thought I had with my ex. Not quite `pipe and slippers', but settled.
Saying that - the best thing a woman can do to make me drop her like a hot coal is for her to even hint that I need to `move on' from my son, forget him and start a new live.
Anyone who makes me choose between her and my son is only ever going to come second!
