Can you all come and tell me what you reckon XP is playing at?

Earlier tonight I was having a laugh with the kids....tickling, ripping the piss, just having a right loud laugh with them. Had two extra kids in, we were all really laughing. XP, I am without a doubt sure about this, rang his girlfriend so she could hear..???!!!!! She then rang back saying did you just ring me, where are you?
And he said No I didnt, what makes you think that bla bla?

WTF do you reckon he is playing at?

21? shit - she must be as old as me, who i must say gets on really well with little kids too... i digress. does sound like he was trying to make a point to her about how one should interact with kids - who knows what had led him to do it. think its more to do with them than you personally. has he got caught up with some control freaky psycho?

Yes, I agree, it is a them thing and not me, I just thought What the frigging hell are you playing at?
Its only going to cause arguements, and to not say Oh shit sorry im still with the kids just...well, it just makes it ODD.

Confirms to me he does play games, though he would never admit it.

Maybe I should ask him, but I dont want him to think im that interested lol

Oh it repeats on me a lot, she must be bad, I look like desperate dan and I didnt see him recoil in horror at me in the morning
I feel sorry for her whoever she is. For many reasons, that being one of them.

i think he's missing what he had with you and the kids - being part of it rather than just a visitor. no doubt whatever regret that causes is affecting his new life - who knows.

stick with the thought of him recoiling like basil fawlty when threatened by cybil everytime he wakes up.

Did he phone her using his mobile or your phone? If he used your phone or it was his mobile and he denied calling her with it he might be trying to stir things implying you were the one who called and therefore are a jealous, crazy mad woman.... Just a thought.

He might be good with the DC but otherwise he sounds like an unpleasant little dick who can't stand any woman in his life not to be thinking about him all the time. Because he's playing games with you too by telling you unkind things about his current partner, you;re supposed to start hoping that he will come back to you until the next time he wants to shag someone else.

Unpleasant little dick, I feel you have met him
The waking comment was when he first got together with her, said he didnt have anyone else she was good to him bla bla, nicer than being on his own, not a bad person.
He still says now, a year later that hes in love with me, but his actions tell a very different story.
It was his phone he used.
However once I texted him to sat I would drop the kids off at his at 12.30 and immediately got a text back saying My cow of an X wont let me see the kids.
I have never screamed so much in my life. I was so so angry.
I decided myself then that the reason he was telling people that, is because as a single bloke if he walks into a room and says oh yes I see my kids all the time, my X bends and folds to suit me and she even lets me stay at her house to spend some normal family time with them instead of being Mr Macdonalds, thats that...theres no Oh you poor man, you have such lovely children, stroke stroke, what a NASTY X you have, she wont let you see the kids...theres sympathy and ...all those other things if he makes out im a cow...

OK lostdad has a point (as my name actually begins with Z ad I am last number on a lot of people's phones, I get dialed by people's arses a lot and have to listen to bouts of shuffling, farting, walking about and inaudible murmering conversations).

But men who are forever dissing their last partner to their current partner, or their curent partner to their XP, are self-obsessed arseholes who want all the women to be fretting about the possiblity of being dumped/taken back/flattered/not good enough etc, all the time.
Don't rise to it, CC. If he starts any comments again just say 'Really,' with a polite vague smile and change the subject. You're not interested in all his wankery after all.

Charliecat, are you bovvered? Maybe his phone hit redial. Is she older than you, was that why he made the morning fright remark. Were you goading him about her being older. Maybe he wants her to see the DC's more. Only you know your XP. We don't. What do you want it to mean?
