It is so boring isn't it ? I mean there are only so many conversations I can have with myself.

nutty - that was an offer of a date, was it not?

How was last night?

if youre not confident for a dance class (i wouldnt be on my own!)are there any classes where you want to learn/study stuff?

its impossible NOT to make friends on these things...
honestly i have made lots of new friends this year, just from my dd's gym lessons and a new neighbour, etc, and i didnt expect to!
also i did a maths class last year and am still matey with 2 of them.

Heya nuts, if its any cconcelation im 20 and most people my age are out there going crazy spending their weekends throwing up because theyre drinking their student loan... me im at uni but all of my friends have mooved away to their own uni's and i have an 11 month old ds and another thats about to pop out. I have no social life and about 2 friends... does my sister count as a friend? yes, thats how dier the situation is... one of my friends is my sister. I cant remember the last time i had an adult night out with out any kids... Sighs. I have tried on many occasions to make new friends but i never seem to suceed which makes me feel worse as i think people must find me boring and run in fear. Have recently made a couple of friends at my NCT class so only time will tell if i keep in touch with all of them. Have decided that im going to get a job in a oub or a bar 1 or 2 nights a week once i have had my baby as its quite a sociable job. x
