He just text me '£1000 if you christian my new bed with me, or any bed anywhere'

I wanted to know if he was joking or if he meant it, so sent back 'Seriously ?'

He has text back 'God I thought you'd go mad at me. I mean it though'

I am so fucking mad, I mean what hell sort of person does he think I am ?

WinkyWinkola · 16/02/2008 15:36

Why did you even dignify his text with a response? Ignore him. What a prat.

nutcracker · 16/02/2008 15:37

christen even

I am so mad, i can't even think of what to say to him.

OP posts:
nutcracker · 16/02/2008 15:37

Because I wanted to know if he seriously thought i'd be interested in being paid to sleep with him.

OP posts:
LIZS · 16/02/2008 15:39

point him in the direction of the red light district

ladytophamhatt · 16/02/2008 15:39

i'm speechless too nutty.

can you block his number?

nutcracker · 16/02/2008 15:42

Not really LTH, it is his only way of contacting me and as he now ocasinally has the kids, I need to be contactable.

The kids are with him now actually

OP posts:
nutcracker · 16/02/2008 15:48

I cannot believe I wasted 10 years with this twat.

OP posts:
MAMAZON · 16/02/2008 15:51

i would have replied " bring the money round and i will be over tonight"
got the money and then ignored further texts.

twatt

nutcracker · 16/02/2008 15:53

I replied 'you are fucking unbelievable, so what am i now, a prostitute ?'

He replied 'no of course not, i didn't mean it like that'

So i replied 'what would call a woman that sleeps with a man for money then'

and quite unbelivably again, he has text this back

'thats completely different, thats with a stranger, no way i would ever think of you in that way. Christ i aint that sick'

I am truley speechless

OP posts:
tiredemma · 16/02/2008 15:53

what an absolute wanker.

tiredemma · 16/02/2008 15:54

Does he think that you are desperate?

Mercy · 16/02/2008 15:55

If he's got £1000 to spare maybe he should spend it on the children and/or the house.

ladytophamhatt · 16/02/2008 15:56

tell him you'll have the money anyway for all lack of maintenance he;s given you over the months since you slpit.

ladytophamhatt · 16/02/2008 15:56

x posts with mercy.

nutcracker · 16/02/2008 15:57

I am not sure what he thinks I am emma, desperate, insane, sick ?

I always knew he was a tosser but jesus bloody christ.

He is actually supposed to be giving me some money from his pension thingy he has just got out, but a) it is more than that, and b)hell will freeze over before i let him attatch any conditions to it.

He really better not try and screw me over cos I am so ready to take him down and ruin his fucking life.

OP posts:
ladytophamhatt · 16/02/2008 15:58

2to take him down and ruin his fucking life."

woooo-hooo! fighting talk nutty!

You go girl!!

nutcracker · 16/02/2008 15:59

I know why he has offered it me. Basically I asked him for a set amount from his pension money. This amount was going to cover me paying off all debts, carpeting the stairs and landing, decorating the stairs and landing, and furntiure for my room and dd1's room, plus other bits and bobs.
I then also said that if he felt like he wanted to give me anymore, I would use it to take the kids on holiday.

So he is thinking, if she wants to take the kids away that much, she won't mind shagging me for the money.

OP posts:
tiredemma · 16/02/2008 16:00

Im shocked (but not surprised tbh) that he would make such a suggestion.

Does he really think that your standards are as low as his.

what a fucking joker- he should be giving you most of his pension money to support his kids that he fails to provide for.

Cock rot

nutcracker · 16/02/2008 16:06

I don't know why I am surprised really.

I have asked him for what I thought was a reasonable amount and an amount I thought he'd not refuse. It works out to less than 12% of what he has recieved.

He better be so careful unless he wants to lose the lot.

OP posts:
tiredemma · 16/02/2008 16:10

I think that entirely reasonable considering that you have been living hand to mouth trying to provide a home for his children. Id be after at least 25% - what does he need all that money for? he doesnt even provide for his children.

The man should be utterly ashamed of himself.

arsehole

ladytophamhatt · 16/02/2008 16:12

cock rot was a much better insult Emma.

nutcracker · 16/02/2008 16:12

Yeah, having just worked out 25% of what he has got, I agree, I should have asked for more.

Only way i'd get that though is if I made the whole thing a legal arrnagment probably.

OP posts:
LIZS · 16/02/2008 16:13

Ask him to put some in trust for the kids when they are older.

tiredemma · 16/02/2008 16:15

You need to be firmer with him- he needs to provide for his children first and foremost, have you seen CAB about this?

25% should be small change for a man with no responsibilities.

I really am appalled- not so much so about the text- but more so that he isnt offering you a wad of cash for his kids.
Speaks volumes of the twat man IMO.

LIZS · 16/02/2008 16:17

You may not be entitled to any of his windfall but your kids, as his dependants, should be, morally if not legally. Agree CAB might help you negotiate.
