Having a baby and still sharing the house with other people

Hello everybody,

I'm 16+5 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I am going to be a single mom. Baby father left us when I was 9 weeks pregnant.
This pregnancy wasn't planned therefore I still live in a shared house.
I don't really want to be still here by the time a give birth as the house is not really suitable (it's not very clean - it's not clean at all) and I feel a really bad mother not being able to give my child at least a safe place.
Due to the coronavirus I also lost my job - I have been made redundant -
I have applied for the UC which is giving me enough money to pay just my rent and a few grocery, but as it's my first child I also need to get ready for it. My family is in Italy and at the moment they are struggling too so I can't get much help from them.

Is there anyone who can give me some advice/help?

Thank you very much Smile
Chiara

Hi there, @Plnchr96 - hope you don't mind but we've just moved your thread over to our Lone Parent topic, where other wise MNers may be able to point you in the right directions for seeking RL help.

We hope that helps but give us a shout if we can do anything else. Best of luck with it all and take care. Flowers
