aha! my friend has had a couple of dates off this site, the best one was a a driveing instructor what had a girlfriend and said on his profile-that she doesn't mind joining in and gave her name, but one of his photo's was him with a dog, we wondered if the dog was the girlfriend

i see him driving round with pupils quite a lot.

I've had a couple of decent dates from this site actually. None I would have gone past the first date with but enjoyable all the same.

I used to go on there but was put off when one bloke had a go at me for clicking on his profile and then deleting his message without reading it.

Perhpas I should have read it, but didn't see the point as he was old enough to be my grandad.

My friend (another single parent) met someone from that website last October and they got married last month!! So they're not all like that on there. I think like anywhere that is free though it does attract some people who wouldn't normally post on dating sites because they are married etc!

You can set up your profile on there to not be contacted by anyone whose married or who has contacted others for "imtimate encounters" (I think it was worded that kind of way, can't remember exactly lol - I did this on my profile and never got one willy pic - well you've seen one you've seen them all! ;-) lol)
Plus I stuck to using the UK forum on there - good for a giggle, was mostly full of genuine peeps! :-)
