Hi Flobochin,

Just thought we'd point you in the direction of our Family Money guide. There's a page with information on work and benefits for lone parents. Please take a look.

It's also worth checking out an organisation called Gingerbread - it's a charity which supports single parent families and can give you all the information you need about benefits, tax credits and universal credit. They have a page on support for single dads too.

Hope this help. Sending good wishes. Flowers

That is so helpful, thanks - this is all new to me so any help is very much appreciated.

Coconutsandcobbles · 21/03/2019 12:30

No- I really don't think so.

bobstersmum · 21/03/2019 12:32

You don't live here but want to claim benefits from here?

Monday55 · 21/03/2019 13:52

What country are you currently residing ?

SingleMumFighting · 21/03/2019 14:01

You can claim benefits if you are British and living overseas if you work for the British Government or Army.

Flobochin · 21/03/2019 14:18

@bobstersmum

And really I'm here for advice not criticism.
