Have just shouted so loud the entire county probably heard, smacked ds and told them to put their selves to bed, which they have, dd1 has just tucked ds in.

I am so crap a parent i may aswell give in and let him have a go now.

Nutty love we ALL have days like this.
You love your kids and they love you and that is all that matters.

Good luck with tomorrow.

NuttyMuffins · 01/06/2007 21:21

Thanks snowonder, and i know exactly what you mean, about a blanket coming down over you.

I do get 2 days a week where I have time to myself, when ds is at nursery, but i tend to use this to do housework, food shopping etc.

I am supposed to be starting my driving lessons soon, have finally got my provisional, but haven't yet booked a lesson, too scared.

I would love to have something that I could do each week thats was just for me, something to look forward too, but things I like seem to cost too much money.

I am so embarrased that I do nothing aswell, cos i have nothing to talk about then. If someone asks me what I have done, I say erm nothing really, cos thats the truth.

Your having run out of bread reminds me that on a rainy day baking is a fun thing to do with kids. My youngest loves kneading dough. She actually ate the pizza she made (normally won't touch pizza)!

NuttyMuffins · 01/06/2007 21:25

Good idea neve but nothing in to bake with either else we could have done that.

I have made pizza with them before though and your right they do eat more then.

do you work? i work part time, just mornings and to be honest i dont think i would survive if i didnt work and have adult company in the morings.. so this really helps me..

could you do a night class? you may get reduced rate?

i had enrolled on a netball course starting next monday, but got a letter today saying it had been cancelled- very annoying as it had been a step foward for me and was really looking foward to it..

NuttyMuffins · 01/06/2007 21:58

Nope don't work at the mo, am looking but not having any luck.

I would do an evening clas but the only person who can have the kids is my mum and she works different shifts every week, so wouldn't always be available.

You are most welcome

When you get the delivery, you might recognise who I am. Can we just keep it as our little secret?

It's nice to do the odd little nice thing for friends - but I do like to do it quietly iyswim

PissyGalore · 01/06/2007 22:27

matilda57 · 02/06/2007 09:25

NuttyMuffins · 02/06/2007 12:06

OMG, the food just arrived, and it is fab, there is enough for several picnics and more, thankyou so much, the kids are hopping around with excitement and I think the tesco man thought i was slightly unhinged, as I stood there with my mouth wide open.

I think I have worked out who you are, was just searching my email addys to send a thankyou email but can't find yours so not 100% sure if i have the right person.

Anyway, you are a truley fabulous and kind person, and i only hope that one day I can do something like this for someone else.

Thanks again , am off to get kids ready and prepare our picnic.

Will be sure to post a pic later.

NuttyMuffins · 02/06/2007 15:48

Hello, we are back and we had a fab time, stuffed ourselves silly, and then the kids ran it all off in the play area.

It was so fantastic, and I made sure before we left that i explained to ds that when i said it was time to go he had to be a big boy and go nicley without tears and if he did we'd come again, and he did, not a tear or tantrum in sight. We'd have stayed longer, but boy was it roasting.

Thankyou again, so so much, from me and the kids, we had a really wonderful day all thanks to you, and the kids will go back to school on monday with at least one nice memory of a day out with me.

Just uploading the pics, will post link in a mo, just need to weed out the ones of me
