I am about to move into a house alone with my boys after 11 years with H. I know I really need to make this move, but now that I only have a couple of weeks before the big move, I am feeling very frightened & worried for my boys.
I need to hear some positive stories please!

Probably already been said but I love:

  • Only worrying about my ds's or my schedule
  • Not having to worry about a DH feeling neglected
  • Being able to be more spontaneous with my DS
  • No remote control fighting
  • Money goes where I say!
  • Sleeping diagonal!
  • Eat what and when I want
  • No grease covered car parts in the house!
  • Garden as I or my DS wants it
  • much closer bond with my ds
  • I choose the decor!!

Oh I could go on and on. Good luck by the way.

Stalking you a bit PC - seemed easier than a shoutout on Chat... was just wondering how things are with your DS now?

Hi, FS.

DS hasn't come out with the "I want to live with daddy" line again since, it was only the once. He is very pro daddy atm though (asking his wherabouts, drawing him pictures etc) & he has moments of playing me up terribly right now, then he will also have moments of being ultra loving.
I know he is very effected by all this & it is so hard.

awww I am pleased he hasn't said it again though

I think it was just him feeling mighty confused & upset by the whole thing.
He has been a challanging me a lot recently though, and sometimes I find it almost impossible to cope, which isn't good, especially when I'm going to be coping alone very soon.

I would expect it will get better when you are apart properly iyswim.

You will find your feet and your confidence and it will rub off.

I hope so, FS! Thanks.
