Who else is relieved that Father's Day will be over this weekend and that they don't have to grit their teeth while helping DC prepare for it?
I'm down 3 cards, 3 gifts, wrapping paper and bought ingredients etc so that dc2 could bake him Star Wars biscuits. (She's a teen so did all the baking but still...)
Enjoyed the process of making cookies with dc2 but having to spend money and time on crap ex while acting upbeat for the kids has been exhausting.
Before anyone asks for Mother's Day I give them money to buy me a gift so they can feel good/normal.
