basically aol sometimes send me a free, 3 day trial of there dating thing, i wouldnt normally sign up but because it was free i thought i would have a look,

so yesterday i was browsing the talent!!! and clicked a few into my favourites, thinking i would show my friends and see what they thought about the various chaps available!!

anyway one has emailed me saying i saw you put me in your favourites??? i didnt realise it would let the men know i had done this!!!!!!

and he chats a bit and asks some questions but i dont know weather to reply or not, i have been single for 15 months, and a bit scared of the dating thing. and he looks very nice and normal, maybe a bit to nice for me.

any wise words?

Sp. I emailed my now dh when I saw his details on a dating site. I was piddled when I did it and so was he and he'd forgotten he'd done it so he was gob-smacked when he got my mail. We emailed for about 3 weeks and I kept on at him to phone me. He finally did, we met up a week after and were living together within a couple of months. 6 years on, we 're still together so good luck (or be careful what you wish for)!!

I met my dp online. He was using wap because he was bored at uni. Like you, I was only really messing about, btu that was nearly 4 years ago now! We got engaged last xmas. We first met in rl, about a month after talking online, he took me out for valentines.
I think if you get to know him a bit first it would be less awkward when you did eventually meet up. Plus I've chatted to people before and sometimes after the initail bit is over there isn't any spark when it come s to talkign abt everyday things.

prob best to leave it a bit longer then, but i am so negative about it, thinking he is prob just emailing cause he is bored etc,
