....and still blurdy loving it! Omg something is wrong with me, I prefer my own company and easy life. Yes I've had the odd dates and saw someone for 3 weeks but it wasn't for me. I'm not lonely or missing any errrr affection....
I love my animals more then relationships..... My longest relationship ever was three months and I fell pregnant, that was 9 years ago. Nothing really since then.
Wonder how it will be when DS is all grown up and left home..........hmmm create a zoo

Love this post! Go for it, it's not the law that everyone has to be in a relationship... or even want one.

SnoopyLovesYou · 07/06/2013 17:24

Ok what I want to know is... what do you do for fun? You know... for excitement, passion, interest...

QueenFaeriecakes · 07/06/2013 17:26

I'm not an ugly evil troll either , I've been chased after many times , was asked out for a coffee date just today! But noooooo politely declined, didn't like to say id rather watch tv with my shih tzu lol

Ooh, me too! I've also been a single parent for not quite 9 years but not far off it. I'm deliberately looking to meet someone because I don't want to be alone forever. Although, if it doesn't happen it won't be the end if the world. I have also been seeing a fwb while searching. I'm keeping myself busy :) I'm not keen on animals.

QueenFaeriecakes · 07/06/2013 17:29

Excitement? What's that? Lol ...nah I keep busy, walk my dog, see friends, have a dance, go out with DS....
As for the McLovin I easily go without, sooooo not my thing

Oopsadaisy, you said 'I don't want to be alone forever' . I honestly don't feel that I am alone. I have a good family, my furry friends and good social group. If love comes my way I'll give it a good try but it's defiantly gonna have to be good to beat what I have now

TwistsnTurns · 07/06/2013 17:40

Ooh, me too. 5 years now. Turned down a date today too! Not sure I'm capable of compromise anymore and I believe relationships are full of them. No thanks, am fine and dandy as I am.
I plan to travel when ds grows up.

QueenFaeriecakes · 07/06/2013 17:44

Twistsnturns, compromise? I don't know how to do that, lol. Ohh I'm so selfish, want things my way.

Me too...its nearly 8 years although I did see someone for 18 months ...but I cant imagine ever sharing my life with anyone now...far to independent and love just having to think about just me and my daughter!

QueenFaeriecakes · 07/06/2013 19:49

Lottysmum, yay girl power!

What is McLovin?

glamstretchmarks · 07/06/2013 22:48

I have beeen a single mum for five years and cant understand sharing parenting and basically I haven't ever done it really...

I am seeing someone atm, the boy i was hung up on in my teens, and wish I could want a full n relationship but honestly cant see myself compromising enough for living with someone etc...

but.... I'm only 23 so... and I have had unbelievably bad relationships considering my age (you have no idea...)

girliefriend · 07/06/2013 22:52

Yep I know what you mean, although I have do have my moments like the other week when another friend got engaged and I had a mini meltdown but on the whole really don't mind being single.

I would quite like a man to pop in every now and again to erm 'service the boiler' iykwim though Blush wouldn't want him to stop long afters though - would just make the place untidy Grin

QueenFaeriecakes · 08/06/2013 09:14

Woke up at 2.30am to the sound of 'ug ug ug ug do you, like that do ya ug ug ug'
Career driven 30 something's that live downstairs going at it.......sounded like she was being bloody tortured.
Standing my ground ......wayyyy happier on my own.

AmyFarrahFowlerCooper · 08/06/2013 09:26

Ug ug ug Grin I like this thread because it makes me feel less weird for not wanting another relationship! I can't be bothered with the compromising either and like being able to what me and dd want!

QueenFaeriecakes · 08/06/2013 10:21

I just had a knock on the door. 'Hello, we're from the kingdom of something or other, do you see a world without sin?'

'Im sorry I haven't got the time to chat but downstairs would be very interested'

OP posts:
SnoopyLovesYou · 08/06/2013 20:16

Girlie you are funny!! Service the boiler!!

SnoopyLovesYou · 08/06/2013 20:18

Come on though- not all men say 'ug ug ug do you like that do you?' Sounds more like rape than a relationship poor woman! :-(

QueenFaeriecakes · 08/06/2013 21:47

She sounded like she liked it to be honest.

OP posts:
SnoopyLovesYou · 09/06/2013 11:48

Well at least he was asking her if she liked it or not. Quite considerate lover ;-) LOL!

QueenFaeriecakes · 09/06/2013 12:00

Grin such a gentleman.

Like this too am single 3 years with 2 teen DC with no interest in men.

Prior to this spent all my life from mid teens with someone and ok there are upsides to relationships but not enough for me to want to give up this way of living

SnoopyLovesYou · 10/06/2013 12:04

Yeah I definitely DO have an interest in men though!

In an impasse where I'm trying to recover from last relationship/ don't want to start a new complicated one yet/don't want to just do one night stands.

Kind of annoying!

khotney · 13/06/2013 14:37

Hey! Love the spirit....men are toture. Right now I just want money stability to do something and raise my child with no man nearby once u get a man u will start crying being pained some how.

I don't know if mine is not wanting men too or its hating them jus been recently left by BD and I'm pregnant I dnt want him back I'm jus disgusted at men dnt even want sex hate sex so I will be single for a long while very long just need the cash and spend it money will never hurt me will it?

SnoopyLovesYou · 22/06/2013 14:16

This was an interesting thread. Faery what do you do for excitement, fun? Sorry but I'm intrigued! :-)
