Are we having a Christmas get together ...just for Mums?

A few options:
Night out in town
Dinner out
Dinner and night in (I don't mind hosting if we all bring something)

Once we have decided on that bit, we'll need to think of some dates.

If you go anywhere for a drink after,let me know,and I could meet you for a drink, as I am in town with my Work Crowd at "Franco's".

We arent eating until 8.30pm,shame your meal isn't later and we could have met for a drink beforehand.

Is it possible for me to get a lift home from somebody please? I probably wont drink but if I can have a lift then the option is there.

SP still want a lift? When i find out the route i can out work out times to pick up!

Hi all - I'm not going to be able to make it tomorrow - I've had the bloody flu all week and was desperately hoping it would be gone by friday.

I fear I'm never going to make it out for a girly night out.

Guess what...drinks are cancelled. So, I have a pass out..woohoo!

Just need to trawl through the thread to find the time that we are meeting and I'll see you there.

I am going to drive so that I don't drink as I have a lesson at 9 on Saturday and then I'm off to Brighton.

Im getting excited! I think i have a voucher of some sort to get a free bottle of wine when 4 adults have a meal - woo hoo!

Thank you Lucyfer. DP has said that he will give me a lift there so I will just need a lift home if thats ok please. Like I said I may not drink, if I do I'll probably have one and be drunk lol.

I now have to search my cupboards for something that actually fits me to wear

Hi pooter - no problem at all. I can just about remember where you live but not exactly so if you give me the adress it will probably be easier - not to mention quicker!

That's fine Purpleflower - quite handy you have the intial lift out actually cos i have to get the kids to bed before the babysitter arrives (your old nanny pooter)and so time will be pushed! - no worries on the way home. get on it flower - have a couple!!

Well that was close - nearly had to cancel last minute due to baby sitter problems! Luckily DP's mum has stepped in - not sure what will cost me more!! Really kind of her though because she was supposed to doing something else.

Anyway - down to business. SP you have been very quiet the last few days - you haven't got the dreaded lurgy too have you? Do you still need a lift?

No hangover for meF! yipee! car seems fine thanks pooter, i think that it sounded worse than it was. I must admit though that i seem to have a real problem driving in the dark! - i don't seem to be able to recognise where i am!!

I too had a lovely night we will have to do it again - cheaply in the new year!
