Are we having a Christmas get together ...just for Mums?

A few options:
Night out in town
Dinner out
Dinner and night in (I don't mind hosting if we all bring something)

Once we have decided on that bit, we'll need to think of some dates.

Can't do 12th now SP as have a Xmas Meal for work already booked it seems on that night.

Ok, to update. I've booked a table for 8.00 - realised when the bloke answered that we hadn't decided on a time! Hope that's ok for everyone. Let me know if it's not. I said 10 people - I think I counted 9, but thought I'd err on the safe side...

I've booked the table in my name - you'll have to ask me when I see you!!

Hey it looks like I may be able to make it after all!! Not going to Gloucestershire now - so may come out with you guys and then off to Canterbury on Saturday - Hooray!!!

Just need to sort a babysitter though cos DP has his works do on that Friday too! Looks like there will be space available either way though (too bad you can't make it Sawyer - works night are usually worth a good laugh though!). xx

Sparklyprincess - Would love to come today, but got the builder who built our house coming to sort out the smelly drains. But, i think coming before shes born a time or two would be lovely!!

oh pants...just realised that I cannot come. DH and I never go out so neither of us really told the other one about the 12th. He has an end of project 'do' for a huge project he has been working on, usual babysitters are busy, so I need to give in and stay in really. Sory ladies...

I cannot afford to pay anyone at the moment and my usual freebies cannot do it. There may be some hope though...DH may be running a bit late with the project!

Not sure what other nights I could do, shall leave that open to the floor...

However, I'm sure we can arrange another night out after xmas Sawyer perhaps a mums only meet up at someones house ( i woudn't mind doing it) that way it would be cheap too because we will all be skintos after xmos!!

I've just woken up with a stinking hangover after my works party last night. Cheap white wine and Cava - Yuk!

Anyway - i'm not doing this again next Saturday so I will offer to be a designated driver next Friday night! I can ferry around up to four people in my car.

Quick someone take me up on my offer so I can't change my mind!!

Pooter, we're going to the Bollywood Inn which is opposite St Boltophs station (or Colchester town station as it is now known you will be able to park in the train station car park and you will just be able to cross the road!

I am going to hop on the bus down Mersea Rd and am getting a lift home with Mr and Mrs Magooo!

Hi Guys

Am really sorry but won't be able to make Friday - my nose is still swollen and going out in the cold even to pick the kid up hurts like hell. Feels like my head is going to explode if I am out of the house more than 5 minutes.

Got to take DS tot he gym for his swimming lesson now and so am wearing a snoodlike creation which does nothing for my image but hides the fact that I have a nose like a pro boxer - luckily the 2 black eyes are fading fast!

Hopefully see some of you before Christmas and if not all have a good one and have a good night on Friday.
