I missed out on the last one, didnt see the thread just wondered if anyone fancied going for a cup of coffee somewhere or finding somewhere nice to take the kids.... I dont know if jump would be suitable, ds loves it there and I think they have a special room for children with sn which riven's dd might like. Its got lots of stimulating/sensory things etc and im sure the other kids would love the soft play. here is the link so you can see the prices, opening time, map etc. If anyones interested it would be great to catch up. Havnt seen any of you since I had dd, shes 3 months old now but i still look pg

ilovemydog · 13/10/2008 21:56

and will join you if I can get DD in car/bus/taxi. She is completely traumatized by car crash on Friday along St Phillip's Causeway where articulated truck crashed into us and hit DS side. She will not get into motor vehicles at the moment and is having nightmares

riven, could you please email me your address in case she snaps out of it?

TheArmadillo · 13/10/2008 22:01

riven will be in bed now you probably won't get a response till morning (just in case you feel unloved).

Her email address is further down this thread if you need it.

TheArmadillo · 13/10/2008 22:02

sorry meant to add sympathy for your dd.

How old is she? Must have been an awful experience for her.

ilovemydog · 13/10/2008 23:22

yes, feeling unloved!

DD is 2.3 and screams DS (7 months) name in the middle of the night as she's so afraid of losing him.

Think the impact of the truck crashing against the car was traumatic enough, but the subsequent emergency personnel (police and ambulance) taking her out and examining her was also quite scary....

spookycharlotte121 · 14/10/2008 00:02

gosh that must have been really frightening! Glad she is ok!!!

needmorecoffee · 14/10/2008 08:09

not got your email address ilovemydog
dd will be a bit dopey as the little minx had a monstrous seizure yesterday evening. But she says she is looking forward to seeing babies (please tell me one of you has a baby!)
ilovemydog - your poor dd. Gettingback into a vehicle will be part of the healing process. Poor little mite. How did it happen?

TheArmadillo · 14/10/2008 08:59

sounds very traumatic for her ilove.

Hope miniriven is ok too.

Will see you all later (barring floods/fires/acts of god)

OsmosisBOOnana · 14/10/2008 09:23

Sorry Riven, just had timetable changed at uni and am going mental trying to arrange childcare, hope you all have a good day!

ilovemydog · 14/10/2008 09:31

Have baby. ilovemy puppy is 7 months.

Was going along St Phillips Causeway along the dual carriageway on the left hand side when massive articulated truck crashed into us on DS side, who screamed on impact which scared DS.

Truck driver pulls over and says he didn't see me etc. His depot was at St Phillips, so his manager comes around. He didn't say anything to me. Not even, 'are the kids OK?' He took photographs!!!!

But I have a witness. Army. On leave. Good in a crisis. And he said I did absolutely nothing wrong.

Ambulance was surprisingly quick and DS was examined and is OK. DD freaked at ambulance as she had to be taken in one to Children's earlier this year.

Riven, am on CAT. Around 2:00?

needmorecoffee · 14/10/2008 10:30

I haven't got CAT so emila me on [email protected] and I'll send my address.

OsmosisBOOnana · 14/10/2008 11:01

bloody hell ILMD! truck drivers.....

I was putting DD in her car seat whilst parked outside my house and a SITA lorry smashed into my car door whilst I was stood inside it!

Needless to say they are ignoring my insurance co letters.

needmorecoffee · 14/10/2008 12:03

ILMD doesn't love me...no email or nuffink....waaaaaaaaaah
