Hi! I am looking to make some new friends in the area. Unfortunately I dont drive so it makes getting to places very difficult. I have one son who is 20 months and we are currently trying for our second baby, I am so excited!! I have lived in Coggeshall 4 years, Southend before that and America before that so I dont really have friends here that I grew up with or anything. Would love to meet some new Mums. Please post here if you would like to do something! We have a great park here in Coggeshall or I could take a bus somewhere though our public transport isnt great.

I'd love to come along on thursday afternoon! Am just waiting to see if I have the car, if not can I have a lift with either SP or Lucyfer?

West Bergholt is lovely - lots going on for a small village - the school is supposed to be good too - its also an easy walk into town - probably an hour but do-able!

Twinkie I hope you can persuade your DH to come out on Thursday! Bribe him with the idea of playing with somebody else's toys! I will check out the houses in Kelvedon as well. I have so much to do and so little time! So does your DS have showers? Mine has never had a shower I dont know what he would make of it! We dont have a shower in this house. Which is too bad.

He He - DH will be at work but I am sure I can get DS to come along - if Mung Ds is there he will be more than happy to come along - he decided today that he doesn't like girls though he loikes dinosaurs instead! Weirdo!

Showers are arecebt thing with him - DD had them from 6 months he has been a pain in the arse though and we just shove him in now!

Saz do you want a lift?

Saz isn't coming Twinkie. Girls are dedfinitely overrated. I think DS is right to prefer dinosaurs!

Hello!!

Only just logged on since saturday or something and desperately trying to follow all the threads!!

We are still definitely coming on Thursday afternoon - promise of a new park is such a winner - i hope the weather is good. Eenybeeny i shall email now for your address. Is there anywhere to park - i can't park very well, so not too good trying to find a place on the side of roads! I've always admired the italian approach to parking myself...

it looks like sophie is getting a lift with SP, so that is cool. The offer is still open for anyone else though.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting those we have not yet met!

aagghhh! purpleflower, hope you didnt think i was anti-webbed toes - i was just surprised that Ashton (as i like to call him) was taking his shoes and socks off on telly. I'd need to have at least a weeks notice if i had to bare my feet in public! I think its really interesting actually, that we all had webbed toes when we were foetuses (my sil says she was born with gils!) If you look at pictures of the embyos of whales, chicks, turtles and humans they look spookily identical!!Im a nerd, i will admit it freely.

Purpleflower, definitely not anti-webbed toes either. Just scared me slightly that Jonathan Ross was trying to cut Ash's webbed toe with scissors! (Pooter, he likes me to call him Ash he he!) I don't like feet in general though, DH has feet like a hobbit - and mine aren't much better either...

I need to pick DS up from pre school which is on the way. I will leave at 12.15. If you can't make it by then, I can come back to mine and then leave as its not far up the road to the pre school.

lucyfer there is a free public car park off Stoneham Street that isnt far from my house at all. Its behind the library. Will check my email now to make sure I have heard from everyone!! Am so excited I hope you arent all disapointed I only have a little house but its like a soft play area and like I said if the weather is nice we have the sand and water table in the garden and the park!!! I cant wait!! x
